I recently visited Mint Decor....the store is breathtaking.....the furnishings are gorgeous! You can purchase anything from an antique oar to hang in your beach house to high-end upholstered furniture. The staff is knowledgeable, helpful and can find just about anything you want for your home! They also carry flooring, gorgeous pillows and unique furnishings. I'll be back to shop and see what beautiful new items you have in your showroom!

Have three light fixtures from the owner in my home that she told me she would get the information on and give to me so I could try to resale them. That was two months ago. I've messaged her 6 times without a response and called the shop three times, but she's never been there. I don't know how to address this other than just showing up, but I live in Gulf Shores and can't be bothered that much. Just know this lady isn't overly concerned with helping someone once she's sold to them. Edit: the owner contacted me the day after I left this review. She helped me with the information I needed, so I am bumping her stars up a little bit.

This place is very nice on the inside with some quality pieces. Unfortunately most of the items are not priced and the staff is young and inexperienced. We bought a piece of art from an artist out of Texas and ordered 2 additional pieces they had to order from the same artist. We paid $1800.00 deposit and was told it would take 6 to 8 weeks to get. After 12 weeks we called and the young assistant called the owner and she said they would be there not this week but the next. This never happened and finally after 16 weeks we contacted the owners Mother who come to find out actually owns the store and she apologized and said her daughter had some health issues and she would make sure we were taken care of. We never heard back from her either so we reached out to the Artist ourself. He was very kind accommodating but told us he never got the order and hasn’t spoken with anyone at Villa Decor in almost a year. We sent him exactly what we wanted and they just delivered to the store 7 months after the fact of giving them our deposit. They are exactly what we wanted but the lies that was told by the Daughter was mind blowing. I wouldn’t recommend buying a candle from this place. What a shame to have such a nice gallery but not trust worthy at all. BUYER BEWARE!!!

I used to purchase books for my grandchildren at Book Inn when my wife and I visited Fairhope. Yesterday, while perusing books in the store, I saw "The 1619 Project" in the non-fiction section. Much of the so-called "history" is false; I don't support book censorship but this book should have been in the fiction section. We left and spent money for our grandchildren in another store.

You want to love this place, but unfortunately they owner doesn't seem to take pride in this store. I frequently shop in Fairhope and this store has two storefronts in the town. One is seemingly always closed with a note that says to visit the other location. I have been in the other store when the owner had teenagers in the store seemingly moving furniture but just sitting around. The owner couldn't have been more occupied and seemed annoyed to even have customers in the store. This week I stopped back in about 45 minutes before closing (posted that closing is at 5pm on Saturdays). As soon as we open the door and walked in, the owner turned off the lights and yelled out, "WE. ARE. CLOSED." Never again.

Highly unprofessional. Store owner randomly closes her store an hour early as you walk into the place.
