Great selection of coins and collectibles, and the staff have always been helpful. I really enjoy visiting when I'm in town.

This is a big coin shop with lots of cool stuff. They have always been fair to me and my Dad too. If you have a coin in question they have smart folks and reference books to help determine the value. I like to stop in and buy a round or two and they treat me like im buying a monster box. Great job SC! Still great in 2024.

I decided to sell some generic silver rounds and fractional gold based on the current metals market. Southern Coin & Collectibles was the first dealer that popped up on my Google search, so I stopped by after work. They were knowledgeable & efficient, and they gave me a more than fair offer for the metals I was wanting to sell. I was in and out in under 15 minutes with a check in hand. Their bank is less than a mile down the road, and they were able to cash the check same day. I will be returning to this business for any buying or selling I do in the future.

I was traveling south from Illinois to Florida and decided to visit this shop on my way. I'm glad I did. I got to work with both Chuck and Ethan and had a great time. Both of them took time to show me whatever I wanted to view and we're very easy to work with on the half a dozen items I bought. The shop has several museum quality displays and pieces that you should go check out. They have a collection of paper money attributed to the DB Cooper hijacking and other rarities that you are unlikely to see anywhere else outside of a museum or major national show. Definitely a numismatic destination in Alabama!

Staff was friendly. The owner was very nice despite my attitude for not being serviced first, when I was next, after waiting 15 minutes for his arrival. Overall he was honest on the value of my coins, offered a fair price, provided good service and kept a positive attitude. I will be back and highly recommend this shop.
