I like the size of the Fayetteville store and the high-end items like furniture are great there..but be Springdale by far has the better selection of clothes. Love Potters house

This place has to be the best thrift store I have ever seen in my life. The people are so warm and friendly and go out of their way to help you. Their prices are excellent you can find anything you want in this very big organized store.

It's real easy to shop for the everyday items that you can't find at the big supermarkets. And they have color tags for discounted prices. And range from 25%, 50%, 75%, or other items you can buy for just .50 cents. And the staff are always real nice when they are helping you find items you can't find.

Wasn't worth an hour and a half drive from Grove Oklahoma for the sale didn't really find much I will stick to the one in Arkansas Siloam springs

So over priced, I think they just like doing ocd collecting of junk! they have a 40 foot display of plastic kitchenware that was all sorted out by color, and way more expensive than shoping at Walmart or dollar tree. I was disappointed that they charge so much for broken everything, they are in the business of collecting, not selling... by the prices, they can do so much better if they actually priced stuff better. who needs over a thousand cords all marked way over retail price. I am from California king of over priced everything and even this was nuts. If I could leave no stars I would have.

Overpriced for used items. Looked forward to coming down to check out the stores in springdale. This was not it. $24 for a pair of used vans that were stained and had no laces, $20 for a used purse missing a zipper... and the store is likely to respond about how feedback is helpful, or that they rotate their stock with 50% off based off the color but they have been doing that on here for the past 3 years with negative reviews and nothing has changed.... and on another note they separate the power cords/remotes and electronics so they can charge separately for items that should be sold together.

I brought two lawn mowers, push behind that were from my old property.   New owner has a riding mower.  Both worked last summer.
I don't own property I intend to mow.
Well they wouldn't take them "in case they needed to put a bunch of money in them to get them to work"....well I SAID THEY WOULD WORK! what do you want? Brand new looking items? 🙄
Stuck to fork in me I'm done donating to this place I don't like to be called a liar every other thing I brought over there including that one giant big mirror which I could have sold but I didn't want to deal with but it don't matter I'm a liar I guess bye for good.

Came by on a Sunday, sign on the door and hours online say they are open 1-6. Came by at 2:10. Closed. Wasted my time driving across town. No explanation for why they are closed anywhere on the doors. Not very respectful of customers time.

I had to leave this store within a minute of walking in because the smell would have made me throw up if I had stayed in there any longer.

They are over priced on their things, and we won’t be back. They took advantage of my son. Very disrespectful to him. No he wasn’t acting up, polite as he could be. Proud of him for just smiling and said thank you.

Nice selection and all but the staff was horrible. I mean the cashier literally stopped mid check put to try on a fake mustache that a co worker was playing with and when i asked to see an item in display case it was like pulling teeth. Wont be going to this location again

All items in all of our locations rotate through a colored pricing system where each week an item decreases in price until all items are 50% off and eventually just 50 cents! This system keeps us accountable to ensuring our items sell for a price that is fair to everyone! The Fayetteville location is priced much more affordable. I seen a sectional with damage and very filthy for over $150. I think they forget who needs to shop here. They are too high priced. I only bout my child a book. The clothes were not in very good condition but priced higher than walmart.

Potters thrift was a wonderful place to go I mean the concept of someone donating unwanted goods snd instead of them piling up at a landfill that someone else can get use out of? Awesome idea! However , when you’ve  had an experience like mine you might change you’re mind about the place. But don’t knock it till you try em out. You’ll have to catch the item you want on the day it’s 75% off or 50cents. Other than that good luck you’re taking a 50 60 chance being they charge just over retail for new items they’ve got a counter with glasses and glasses cases well I asked to look at both and I found me a nice pair of shades along with randomly finding a case to match now mind the glasses were 97c that day and a case came free with a purchase. I asked the lady who helped me if she could hold my glasses along with another random pair at the front till  got done looking at electronics. That was fine and I hoped so as i did it out of courtesy so they didn’t think I’d walk out with it or something . So as I’m shopping for a cord I needed a lady approaches me and says hey those glasses u got up there aren’t for sale unless u wanna pay 100 for them.... she stated”yea they’re an expensive set and we can’t let them go that cheap I’m thinking weren’t they donated to y’all?? Beaudes the point. But anyways  I asked the lady who rang me uo on those 2 shades and she said she didn’t remember those glasses being in there . Well ok where did they come from? the locked shelf next to it that are all someone’s prescriptions? I mean seriously the glasses were in one junk tub and and the case was in another and I just so happen to think that the shades and case looked cool together so they decided it’s an item to be sold online and unless I had 100 I couldn’t buy even though I already had them at checkout. Say you’re fair and helping the public then Prove it with actions . That was a very ugly thing to do to someone who has supported you’re stores since Fayetteville

We love and value all of our customers and in no way see anyone differently because of the color of their skin. We love and employ people of all skin colors and nationalities. We had several volunteers in our store today which is absolutely no excuse for a bad experience in our store, however they have not gone through the training that our employees have. If I could give zero stars I would. I shop at potters house pretty regularly and usually have a pretty pleasant time, except this time at the Springdale location was an absolute disgraceful experience I’ve  ever had while shopping. Me and my African-American friend entered the store and realized we didn’t have to wear masks therefore she put the mask in my bag. The employees thought that we were stealing and came over and took the product I was looking at out of my hand and didn’t let me hold it while I was shopping. The employees then gathered at the front and then they started following me and my friend and keeping an eyeon us the entire time we were in the store. After the very rude experience with the older lady that took the pair of earrings out of my hand, it kind of ruined our mood and we weren’t really wanting to shop much anymore. But we continue to look through the store and didn’t find anything, so when we headed for the front we were stopped by the lady at the cash register. He asked us if we were ready to check out and we said we didn’t find anything she then very rudely implied that we had stole something and then it was very strange that we had nothing to check out with. We found that very rude and felt very disrespected. As we walked out the store they had employees stand at the window and watch us get into our car until we pulled off. One of the employees even very sarcastically waved bye to us as we pulled out. We were given dirty looks the entire time. I hate that I couldn’t even have a normal shopping experience because putting my mask in my bag look like I was stealing from the business. I also hate that my friend thought it might have been her fault because of her skin color because all of the women that were being very rude to us were white. All in all the experience was awful and the customer service was nonexistent and I really hope that potters house will work harder on training their employees in better people skills and being less judge mental. I still fully recommend the Fayetteville location as it’s always giving me a very positive and helpful experience, but the Springdale location is the complete and utter opposite

Each item in our store has a different color tag that rotates each week so that all of our items become 50% off and then 50 cents. Very expensive for a thrift store. A raggedy old women’s blouse should sell for $8 just because it’s from Cato? No thank you. All of Goodwill’s women’s shirts are $4 and that goes for Cato, Jones New York, Express, Worthington, Abercrombie, and even some Michael Kors. The shirts here at Potter’s read $3.50 unless otherwise marked, yet 3/4 of the shirts were marked with a ridiculously high price tag for them being worn/secondhand. $6 for an old throw pillow that would run $2-$3 at other local thrift shops. Wicker basket $8, really? In no way are these prices compatible to other thrift shops.

Thanks for the feedback Jon. We strive to be both competitive and comparable with other thrift stores, and I admit sometimes we do miss the mark. I’ll definitely keep your feedback in mind as we price items going forward.

The prices are very expensive. $30 for a run-down, white child's dresser is ridiculous; $3 would be more appropriate. Another example is $5 for computer keyboards. I wouldn't pay any more than $2 for these old things. A good looking dresser with gold trim was $85. I understand from reading Potter's' replies that items are reduced periodically until it reaches 25 cents. This may explain the high prices, as this practice may induce people to pay more for the item in hopes of not "losing out." I think it's a predatory practice, and in any event, I won't go back to Potter's House.
