About This Store

The Cortez Street Emporium is a beloved antique furniture store located in the charming town of Prescott, Arizona. Customers are drawn to the store's vast selection of vintage items, including collectibles, vintage glass, clothing, and mid-century household items. One reviewer particularly enjoyed the "restored vintage neon signs" on display, which seem to be a highlight of the store's eclectic inventory.

Customers praise the Cortez Street Emporium for its friendly and helpful staff. As one reviewer noted, "the ladies in there were very helpful," making the shopping experience all the more enjoyable. Another customer, Janelle, shared that the staff's kindness and the store's fair pricing allowed her to leave with "a beautiful hand blown glass vase and teapot with matching cup" that she had not initially planned to purchase.

Many reviewers emphasize the joy of simply browsing the Cortez Street Emporium, even if they don't end up making a purchase. As Katherine Cain expressed, "Even if I don't find anything I decide to take home, it's still always so much fun walking through and seeing all the treasures and memories on display!" Another customer, J P, echoed this sentiment, sharing that they "ended up buying a few items" after "loved to see all the vintage items from the past" and discovering "so much interesting things."

The Cortez Street Emporium seems to be a true gem in the heart of Prescott's historic downtown, offering a unique shopping experience that keeps customers coming back year after year. As Adrian Perfetto, a longtime patron, simply stated, "It is always my first stop when I get to Prescott. Huge selection of great stuff and friendly staff."

Probably my favorite antique/thrift shop in Prescott! Even if I don’t find anything I decide to take home, it’s still always so much fun walking through and seeing all the treasures and memories on display!

One of our favorite stolls in old Town Prescott. Antique stores, the copper pig, the emporium and others along Cortez are full of wonderful treasures, some of which have found their way into our home.

Owner Response

Thank you for the nice review!

I love, love, love to antique shop and can typically find something great when I visit the Cortez Street Emporium. Today was no different. I can spend so much time on here, walking around and around seeing things I didn’t notice the first walkthrough. Pricing is fair if you know what you’re looking for. When in doubt research. I wasn’t looking for anything in particular today, but left with a beautiful hand blown glass vase and teapot with matching cup. Service was friendly and kind. To some it may look like just junk or tons of Knick Knacks but there’s some great finds on here. Just be careful not to knock anything over because there are tons of breakables.

Owner Response

Thanks for the nice review and thanks for the repeat business. We appreciate you!
