Well worth the two hour drive to get to Prescott, AZ. The owner is a fountain of knowledge about the myriad of items covering centuries of various cultures. I would recommend spending at least an hour here. I have been to the Bead Museum over 10 times, often without needing anything specific, but I have never left empty-handed. A must see. Check the website.

This is an amazing place and is absolutely worth visiting. I didn't necessarily have an appreciation for beads until I went here and met Thomas, the owner. We literally talked for two hours straight about history, geography, and, of course, beads. Beads can be made from anything, from bones to ostrich egg shells. Beads are the original currency. I learned so much and appreciated Thomas on so many levels. So, if you are interested in history, geography, or are just curious about unique things in general, then go check this out!
Thank you for the visit, it’s always refreshing to find someone with your passion for learning about history! You are always welcome!

The owner is really nice. It's less of a museum than a large store but the beads are beautiful
