We special ordered cabinet door panels from Jay. The quality of the ash-wood panels surpassed our expectations and we are very happy with our product and the service received. The outcome of our project turned out beautifully! We truly appreciate Jay’s expertise and help. Would highly recommend this place.

I had a custom Tansu chest made. It is not only beautiful to look at, but very well constructed! My design was complicated--but Jay worked hard to achieve exactly what I envisioned. We are so thrilled with the end result! It is an elegant and practical piece that we will treasure. I highly recommend this shop!!!

This is a great shop for finding unexpected treasures. I’ve bought beautiful cups and tableware here. Recently, I purchased a large Japanese dresser which is gorgeous and environmentally sustainable. Customer service is excellent and I’m happy to support this local family business.

We negotiated on one of their tansu and then he refused to keep his promise. Not trustworthy! Given his response, he said that the shipping will not take place until the next Monday. Plus, I did not have access over the weekend and waited until Monday to pay. When I tried to pay, I couldn't and immediately texted him - with no response. I texted and call several times to get the method of payment - still no response. I negotiated in good faith and he accepted all. It is just a strange business behavior you will refuse to sell to a customer when everything was above board. The text thread bores this out.
The customer was haggling for discounts and free shipping. Then he was nonresponsive to our payment request and follow-up emails for three days, so we decided not to proceed further.
