Located at the traffic light and next door to Wine Rack Liquor (look for the large route 66 sign). The business was in Glendora at a different location for 13 years. I was told, Knot Too Shabby would soon be celebrating its first year in this location. It has the welcoming feel of a casual boutique. There are creative offerings from seventeen vendors. Many of the items are handmade/up cycled/original creations. There are unique clothing and accessories. They offer various classes and sell the original brand of chalk paints created and sold in Europe. There will be a multi-community Hop and Shop event the weekend before Thanksgiving. The prices vary, parking was adequate and the atmosphere was welcoming.

I took a Brush Lettering class. We had plenty of time to practice. Michele hosted it and Andrea was our instructor. I recommend this class.

Recently a friend and I took a texture chalk paint workshop with Michele, the owner of Knot Too Shabby. Not only did we learn several useful techniques but we also had a lot of fun! Michele is a wonderful teacher, and has a great sense of humor too, making for a lovely time in class. The shop is adorable with many gorgeous furniture pieces, hand painted and transformed with chalk and milk paint. Tucked in among the furniture pieces are hand-made crafts created by talented artisans. Browsing the shop is interesting, with many eclectic items for sale, all the supplies you need for your own painted projects, and a great place to find a gift! There is also a street fair the first Saturday of the month in front of the shop which we browsed and found some enthusiastic and friendly artisans with unique items for sale. Knot Too Shabby is an enjoyable place to spend some time to find inspiration and supplies to do one of your own projects or to purchase something completed to just take home and enjoy!
Michelle! Thank you! 😊

Always have a great time with Michelle's classes! She is extremely talented and creative and I have learned so much from her, including many budget-friendly ways to go about it. And she's sweet to boot! I'm excited about putting some of these new learned techniques to use on my newly inspired projects.
🥰 Thank you Anna Maria! I had a great time with you and can't wait to see your next projects!

I have been purchasing Annie Sloan paint and supplies from Michele at Knot too Shabby and she has been so helpful with all my questions, helping me make decisions about which color to buy etc... AS chalk paint and accessories are not inexpensive but worth it because of the quality. A good paint brush can last a lifetime if taken care of properly and the results are amazing. Thank you Michele for having a local shop that gives great customer service!
:) Thank you Susan! We appreciate your business and support.
