I am happy with this place. I love searching for goodies. It gives me peace and it's fun. The security guard is awesome and very nice. The employees are good most of the time. They work hard. My main place I donate. This is my home Savers.

I visit once a week and always find something new and best stuff. Staff is so friendly and helpful.

Sure is great having a lot of many different kinds of items to pick from.  Thank goodness the prices are higher than some people expect to pay 'cause I can swoop in and buy it when they do not.  I worked in a thrift store and loved my job. They sure are super nice and smart workers here.  I will be donating again real soon.

If you need it and find it take it, few hours later it's gone off the shelf.

So much better than Goodwill and the salvation army. Prices might be a bit inconsistent but that is what every thrift store is like. Nobody on Earth knows how to price all of those items. The staff is friendly and helpful, and recognizes all of their regular customers. Although sometimes the wait times can be long for the checkout, this is due to the fact that all businesses want to do the most they can with the fewest number of workers. I've seen their poor employees running around at a frantic pace trying to get everything done,  yet still they remain cheerful and will stop whatever they're doing to help somebody. I've been coming here since they opened, and as a full-time reseller who lives alone, I've managed to find mini many treasures here but keep my rent paid and myself in my home. Love this place!

What an incredible place!   Huge parking lot on site. Well organized! Clean! The staff are all very friendly. There was a "greeter" who asked us if we wanted a shopping cart ( these carts are all sanitized). Tons of housewares, art pieces. We didn't spend any time in the clothing area, but rather spent more time on housewares. Clean restrooms too!  At the check out, one has the option to pay cash or Self Check Out with a credit card. Well done Savers!!! I will definitely return here again!

This place is my favorite thrift store; you will pay a couple dollars more compared to other places but it is neat, clean, and organized.

I especially like that clothes are organized by size. I picked up a small men's zip up hoodie for 3.50 and the name brand and popular t-shirts generally run 5-7 dollars. Far less still than buying these new at big box stores.

The staff is always helpful and pleasant, and keep things going smoothly even during this pandemic. It's a nice little bit of normal in these times.

This store is huge! They have clothes for everybody. Their staff is very friendly and upbeat. Similar to Goodwill, they have nonprofit partnerships and sponsors. I've had some good finds here. Check them out!

I LOVE LOVE LOVE this store. I always find good stuff here. And the store is usually pretty neat and organized. I love how they separate their items by size so it's way easier to find what you're looking for, instead of wasting time going through each individual article of clothing.
I used to shop here once or twice a week, but I moved a few years ago, so now i shop here EVERY SINGLE TIME im in the South Bay.

First time in this place, WOW! What a different feeling from Good Will or even the Salvation Army. Everything seems to be orderly displayed. The clothing has actually something of quality you can choose from it considering that there is a Thrifty store. The prices are a bit higher than the other two main chains but the quality is a bit better. People are helpful and actually NICE. The three customer service people including the cashier were respectful, helpful, AND they even smile and had a small friendly conversation. I highly recommend this place and I will considering coming back even though the location is a bit far from my home. Savers also receives donations and make it a great deal since they support other non profits like churches or schools through the donations. It is a win-win situation for every body when you either buy or donate to support this place.

Today was 50% off clothing and accessories in bed and bath. I had so much fun.

Organization is the key word here. Everything in this thrift store is well-organized.  That way you do not have to spend a lot of time looking through a bunch of disorganized things. They have a large friendly and responsive staff.

They also  have a wall of goodie bags where you buy one product you want and you get several related items in the bag that are similar or like kind .  The prices are reasonable. One can find some very very good values in electronics and household goods. Savers has a product exchange programs for most return items, with the customary exception of electronics.

This is a huge, awesome thrift store.  They have everything from board games to furniture, to office supplies.  Anything you need you can find here for cheap.  They even have name brand clothing, some with the tags still on them.
I love their rewards program.  When ever you shop, you get points, after you reach a certain amount of points, you get discounts.  If you bring them things to donate, they give you a discount.
Customer service was wonderful.  Very friendly and courteous.

I've found many fine items at Savers in Lomita over the last couple of years.  Naturally, with the selection constantly changing, there's almost always a surprising treasure to be found!  The staff who've assisted me have been polite and friendly and have provided excellent customer service.  I applaud your support of the work of HOPE and appreciate your service to the community in providing reusable goods at reasonable prices.  Thank you!

overall go to thrift store. It’s a drive away but there’s alot to look at. Women’s restroom needs more cleaning maintenance add a foot door opener and paper towels perhaps. Some clothing items are priced at original store value which doesn’t seem reasonable to me.

I like the no contact self checkout registers, there's a decent selection of stuff as well but, like everything in life pricing has gone up. Some things that are used and not in the best condition are the same price as something you can buy off Amazon.

They're often crowded and busy and the check-out lines are usually long, but that's understandable because they have a large selection of nice quality items with very decent prices and friendly staff. But..... I wish they had electric outlets in the electronics section. It would be nice to make sure the stuff actually powers on before buying. Or better yet, they should do it - plug it in, if it doesn't turn on, don't accept the donation and don't offer it for sale.

I just brought home another electronic device that was DOA, which means I wasted my time standing in a long line to buy it and now I have to waste more time returning it. Please, Savers, provide electric outlets in the store or at least make sure your electronics power on at the plug before selling. Thanks.

Good selections of clothes and household goods. Clean and easy to navigate. Prices can sometimes be a bit on the higher side. They have  restrooms for us customers which are definitely appreciated. Take advantage of birthday month discounts for members, Tues discount for seniors, and especially their occasional big 1/2 off days etc.

Usually has at least some good clothes to score on. Prices like everywhere else seem to have gone up a little bit to make up for months of business lost.  Despite that I still have managed to spend less than a hundred and 50 dollars  each year for the last 2 years on my daughter's clothes by getting cute shirts, jackets and dresses here and pants at Sam's and shoes either here or at Walmart. So totally worth checking out for clothes, books or housewares.

Huge inventory you can find pretty much everything you need.

Good location. I always find something cute in here! This time it was a shark bite tank from avenue for $6 and a cute wallet for $4. Very friendly helpful staff, lots of selection on everything and well-organized,  unlike Goodwill!

It's a fun place  to explore. Lots of great finds and things you haven't seen in a while or new if you're not that old. All kinds of things to see, some things are not in the best shape but some treasures are worth the price. If you love hunting for a bargain and you appreciate old pieces, Savers is a good place to visit.

Clean and bright, designed like a department store instead of a thrift store. Wide aisles,  full selection of a variety of items,  membership Club perks, reasonable prices on even brand new products. Friendly staff and ample parking.

Just tried to purchase a ton of stuff and because the tags were all the color of the day he said they weren’t priced correctly and that they weren’t the right tags and I had to come back tomorrow but couldn’t put anything on hold. I constantly donate to savers I think they forget everything in that store they got for free.

Super bummed it went fully automated! Something always goes wrong with the check out. I don’t work here, why should I check myself out? Also prices haves  gone up way too high! I truly love wondering through this store, it doesn’t smell like a thrift store, but why would I pay more for a glass from savers than it cost at the 99 cent store?!

I tried to buy these darts that was originally 4.99 dollars and they are selling it at 4.29 dollars, they are used, left it behind and tried to buy a purple shirt with a vest that was together, the guy said nope that's not the price and they do not sell things together, I think he just wanted the mushroom vest. After shopping for 3 hours to wear something gor a friend of life party, so now I do not have a thing

There are currently $1.75 each at Daiso. A flimsy wooden plant stand priced at $5 each at this location. I come here often and thought the pricing was higher today. All the bottoms were over $10+ and dress shirts $11-$20. Its just getting too high here for what’s being sold. It’s not a boutique it’s a thrift store full of regular throw away clothes. This location never has anything special just regular clothes people are getting rid of and junk that should be priced that way. Maybe it’s someone higher up or maybe it’s just the person pricing the merchandise, but it sucks coming here now.  I could just shop online or buy new clothes somewhere else.

Prices are a little steep considering they don’t pay for their inventory…doesn’t make sense. If this many people are calling this an issue maybe it’s time to make the change. Satisfied customers that want to come back are what keep you in business after all.

All clothing sizes are wrong. Electronics are overpriced. "special items" in the glass case at the front of the store have "like-new" eBay prices. Any item that holds face value is ruined once a Savers price sticker is put on it.  The people who price things in the store have no idea what holds value and what doesn't. While the cashiers are friendly, don't expect to find any reasonable deals here.

Had to change my review to a 1 star because they are getting to greedy on prices thay are starting to over price there stuff like a loose playstation classic at market price omost everything is market price

I used to love savers, it was my go to thrift shop but it’s just gone downhill. Part of their mission statement is to prevent clothes from ending up in landfills yet they go and try to pass off cheap fast fashion brands like SHEIN for 10/15 bucks. At least no what you’re selling if you try to sell stuff at that price.
On top of it they have all these self checkout machines and the one checkout they do have is never opened, so there goes the other part of their mission about giving jobs to people in the area.
Then there’s this short Agressive lady smacking on her gum, on some wild ass power trip. Like girl you work at A second hand store , chill, there’s literally no reason for you to be wildly hollering at people. Maybe apply to be a guard at a venue instead it’d be a lot more fitting.

This day, May 27, there was a woman in the checkout area, very annoying, very poorly spoken, bad attitude, no good customer service, terrible customer service, they should change those people, the store is good, but the staff, very bad service, that woman doesn't have good service, bad She is a tall blonde, she is in the checkout area, I think she is the only blonde lady.service, change it

Kevin a worker at this store was rude to my senior citizen mother when she asked for a senior discount he ignored her to chat with his coworker while she stood there waiting. She’s has arthritis etc The guy is lazy, and inconsiderate when I asked him about change for cash he rolled his eyes I feel he is racist because he then proceeded to call me a creep and got in my face when I told him I was writing a review he said go ahead and I snapped a photo and he got an attitude and yelled at me and told me to get out . My mother is scared to shop at this store now it was my first time showing her a savers. Very sad that people can’t get kind people that are helpful that work at these stores are just ghetto and dangerous he was out of control

On Friday May 3, 2004 I donated a pick up truck load of bags of clothing to Savers. By mistake I also included 3 bags of my own stuff worth quite a bit of money ($500-1000 value). The next day I realized my mistake and went back to the store. They had me fill out a form and said they would let me know when found. On Sunday I also sent them an email detailing my problem.  Then I went back on Monday and gave them a print out of my missing items and spoke to the manager concerning the matter. I have not heard back from them as of today May 11. Certainly enough time to find the items (8 days). As a FOR PROFIT thrift store they are under an obligation to return items donated by mistake. I guess they liked my mistake and put the items out for sale or kept them for themselves. That is the only logical conclusion. I am 72 years old, under extreme financial distress and need those items to sell and pay bills. But SAVERS of Lomita evidently puts profits over people and money over morals. Do not do business with SAVERS of  Lomita!

Used to be my favorite thrift store but workers are rude, and make up rules. Had the worst experience ever. Multiple people were unable to buy items from the employees working today. OVER PRICED TOO. Actually check the value or original cost before buying here because they up-sell free used clothes given to them. Never going back or donating at this location again.

Two brand new Hot Wheels in their package were $6.49 not even at Target or Walmart what price is that much. Who is pricing everything

This place is so overpriced, it’s ridiculous.
I don’t know what has gotten into this establishment but it seems pricier each time I go. I’ve donated many things in the past but I don’t think I’ll be donating anything here anymore. The prices are higher than buying  new items sometimes. How does that make sense. Thrift stores should be affordable but these days it seems that is no longer the case.

Paying for your items on those cash registers is an issue they won't advice you when paying with card or cash  Guessing on higher prices when the item don't have a price. Becareful with yellow tags used to be 50% off  they change to blue tag 50% percent off keep on changing on colors tags discount 🤦‍♀️

Whomever has been recently put in charge of pricing needs to find a different job. I could DEFINITELY find stuff for cheaper on ebay.

Video games should be all same price just like EVERY other thrift store. You are out of your mind for being a thrift store and not knowing how to charge.

For example, Elder Scrolls Anthology for PC a couple of weeks ago was priced at Savers for $99.99. Just do a quick search on eBay and you can get it for roughly $60.

If you plan on coming here to flip items, save yourself the time and go somewhere else.

If you truly want to buy items for yourself, do a quick search online and I am almost certain you can get it cheaper somewhere else.

If you only want to go there for clothing there sure I guess I would say go for it.

Otherwise, I wont recommend it. Half of the tech items, the workers have no clue what it is and price way incorrectly. Like I said, just do a little bit of research before throwing your money away to this place.

I used to love coming here, but recently the people in charge of pricing have been seriously out of their minds.

No fun to buy there no more. It’s been several times I’ve gone and I’ve seen an employee several times stock items onto the shelf and a customer (possibly a relative or friend ) is right there to grab the item within seconds of being placed onto the shelf. The guy was also grabbing directly from the cart and the employee would tell other customers they’re not allowed to grab from the cart. I’ve heard them speak to each other in a low tone laughing so that’s what leads me to believe there is some connection between the two. I do understand thrifting is free for all but it should at least be a little fair. Instead you have people cherry picking the good stuff and making it unfair for the rest of the customers.
