Mark came out to give me an estimate on refinishing my kitchen cabinets. They needed it after 60+ years! My kitchen project was located in a historically designated mid-century modern condominium in Pasadena designed by the noted developer, Lionel Mayell. The kitchen wasn’t elaborate in size but had interesting features including all original built-in appliances. I decided it was time rehabilitate the kitchen but wanted keep all the original historic cabinet features. Mark was able to help me carry out that vision with a complete refinishing of all the original cabinetry. I wanted the new stain to show the beautiful ash wood graining but still work with the mid-mod cabinetry hardware and pulls. Mark carefully described the process necessary to recreate a new taupe-color stain for the original blond ash cabinets. He was even able to repair damage caused over 60 years to some veneer to the point where you couldn’t tell it had been “repaired.” I also put in a new quartz top replacing the old Formica countertop and my project to sensitively preserve a historic small kitchen was complete! Mark was able to do the job, explain costs, and provide me with adequate timelines for completion. All this even through a pandemic lockdown!

Mark and his team refaced our kitchen cabinets and they were awesome! First, he gave a ballpark quote via email based on the dimensions and photos I sent him. It was right inline with what I expected so he came over, we discussed options (he had great ideas and suggestions), details, he took final measurements then sent me a firm quote. We agreed to a start date and timeline after he explained the entire process. He and his team were very knowledgeable, trustworthy, good communicators and in general, enjoyable to work with. The cabinets turned out beautifully. We liked Mark so much we are hiring him now to do work on another project. He's good. Don't hesitate to call him!

Mark restored and did a piano mirror gloss paint finish to a buffet which was a family heirloom piece. It had a lot of sentimental value. The work he did was that of a serious craftsman. And while Mark is serious about his work I found him to be a very funny and personable guy, which I also appreciate. I wouldn’t hesitate to have Mark work on other projects in our home. A high recommend.

My kitchen looks stunning.I can't believe the difference my kitchen refaceing made in my house. I'm happy to have had my kitchen refaced by A&G finishing,. They were friendly and very knolewdgeable. We used the existing cabinet boxes since they were in good condition and replaced with all New doors, drawers and hard ware. The transformation was amazing and happy to have stayed within my budget.
