My experience with Dee Lux, the team at the store is excellent. I went to sell clothing. Everyone was very nice very & Professional, and gave me a fair price on what I sold. They have a excellent selection of vintage clothing. I would recommend anyone to go shop there or sell there.

This store has some of the cutest items ever! From clothes, shoes, trinkets, accessories, jewelry, you name it. If you ever need help with anything, ask for Lily! She is so kind, funny, relatable, helpful, and fashionable. She picked out a bunch of pretty clothes for me and we shared a bunch of laughs together! I’ll definitely be back at Deelux because of her!

Visited this store with my neighbor to check it out.  My neighbor took several very nice jackets to sell.  The staff are very friendly and the store is very organized and clean.  We will go back to buy and sell.

I had a really good experience here. The store was clean and super organized. They have lots of new gift type items like candles and journals. They also do cash pay out of 30% the sticker price when you sell items. All staff was friendly and knowledgeable and I was surprised by the quality of selection. Definitely will be back here.

Dropped off some clothing to sell. They were very considerate, helpful and charming. Their response time is terrific.

I love this store! Buying and selling here is cool and convenient. Michael is always friendly and professional, clothing here is clean, cool, funky and fun.

Honestly the best place to sell your clothes in the OC area. I have gone to countless secondhand shops/resell stores all over the OC and Deelux is by far the best (customer service, selling clothes, buying clothes, overall vibe). Keep in mind that this is still a business and they tend to buy trendy clothing so if you’re looking to make a quick buck for clothes you haven’t worn in years, then you’ll be disappointed. Also, they don’t always buy modern clothes (ASOS, SKIMS, Princess Polly, etc) so be sure to check out their sell list on their website. I always have a pleasant experience going here both as a seller and a buyer.

One of my favorite places for secondhand clothing/thrifting! You may find a few cheap items here, but most clothing tends to still be pricey (i.e., $18-25 for tees) compared to actual thrift stores. They usually have a huge selections of graphic tees, jackets, pants, denim, and even shoes.

Great resale shop. Very friendly staff even when rejecting much of your clothes. They have to be picky as they have so little space.
My daughter loves the place and always finds things.

Super friendly staff. Everyone is always smiling. The employees don’t stand around talking. They are always organizing the clothes on the racks, helping a customer or doing the pricing on clothes that they take in for store credit or cash.

The Dee Lux staff are super friendly and knowledgeable. I chose to drop off my sell and they texted me the next day that it was complete. It was really convenient and easy.

First time selling with DeeLux. Gotta say Brooke was an exceptional manager/buyer. She was super friendly and very respectful of my clothing i brought in. Her customer service was top notch. A store that has a great manager has a great staff. Sierra was super friendly and fun to chat with about fashion etc etc. I highly recommend coming to at least shop and meet the friendly ppl. Bring in your quality trending pieces. You wont be disappointed.  Thanks for a fun rad experience!!!!

Deelux always has great gems - the buyers here are very good! The staff is very friendly and there is always plenty of variety in season. A good mix of special vintage pieces and new styles! I highly recommend this place.

DeeLux is a big, bright place with some really cool niche items. The staff give off a genuinely nice and upbeat vibe. Don't just stroll by, it's definitely a nice place to check out.

NOTE: I have sold here multiple times. If you wrote a bad review because they didn’t buy your things, that’s not being fair. Find out what type of things they’re buying and what they’re looking for before hauling all your stuff over. Just because you think they’re good clothes doesn’t mean they’ll buy them.

Selling my clothes here is so easy! I was able to choose the appointment time that worked for me (and there was a lot of available times to choose from) directly on their website. I brought my clothes in and waited while they went through them. The whole process took 30 minutes. I was a given the choice of getting cash or store credit, and since I found something I wanted, I took the credit. Staff is really friendly. All in all, a good experience.

This is a first stop when I go thrifting. Everything is so vintage and cute! And I feel like a lot of thrift stores are smaller than this place, the selection they have is one of my favorite aspects. I also love how nice the staff is, everyone who works there seems to be friends. I just bought the cutest jacket from this place, in 100 degree weather! 😅 But it was too cute to pass up.

Good buying standards they took 2 of my Levi jeans for a reasonable price. I really like the selection they have at this store. The atmosphere is very trendi, for sure.

Excellent customer service! The employees are very professional honest opinions and courteous. I bought a pair of boots at a Charity shop for $7.99. They were too small for my Daughter so I brought them here. (I couldn't pass them up at that price.) Deluxe offered to me $25 in cash or $35 in store merchandise. I took the merchandise. They have very unique things. Bring your unwanted clothes to them before donating or just come in and look through their racks. Often you'll find items marked half price and sometimes under $5!

Very eclectic place. It's a buy-sell-trade store, so each item they have is unique and has lots of character. I've sold a few things here. My friend bought an awesome outfit with my store credit. They also have men's and accessories. Definitely recommend checking this place out. It's fun to pick out funky outfits and try them on.

Love coming here for hidden gems, as they carry a lot of in-style, high quality vintage pieces as well as some trendier and newer pieces! Bought so many things from here at reasonable pricing for what is essentially a curated boutique. Definitely not thrift store prices but that’s what you expect for hand picked shelving!

My first time selling here was a breeze, very simple appointment that took less than the anticipated 30min slot- Out of about 20 items, they took 5 or so that were to their liking and gave me a very generous store credit for a NWOT pair of Doc Martens, some higher-end 2010s pieces, and some organic material pants.However, I wasn’t given a full explanation as to why some pieces didn’t make the cut and had to pry a little for answers, but it was busy so I won’t hold that against the rating.

The only thing keeping this place from being a 5/5 would be consistency in items. Some items on the shelves are hardly adult sized, crocheted pieces and while cute, are confusing to see when name-branded items with standard sizing are refused for sale.

Made an appointment online to sell. The process took no more than 30 minutes. The staff was friendly and quick. The store is smaller than I expected I was a bit disappointed with the items at this location. I would definitely recommend the Claremont location for more variety.

They don't pay much for clothes and if your in plus sizes I would just skip trying to sale here. It seems they only take clothes for skinny people and the most current trends so if your over 30 or 35 ish don't waist your time. Besides that the lady at desk was really nice and there staff was friendly.

They're okay. More like a second hand store than anything as I've seen a lot of fast fashion here. These couple of weeks I haven't really seen them get that many new clothes. Items range $10-20 which I don't feel like is worth it considering that they have a lot of thin fast fashion, esp in the women's shirts. Some of it is great don't get me wrong but it's like once in a while really. Their trade in program is pretty solid. Overrall a much better shop compared to the modern boutiques in the Orange Circle for price and quality.

Who thinks the setting up of an appointment then bringing only limited items then waiting to have things rejected is a "fun and easy experience". This is a vintage shop. This is not a " thrift" shop. You will pay up for every bit of vintage you see, but only half is. The rest is new "vintage" look. Now those all might seem like harsh criticisms but this is a beautiful and well laid out store that has a carefully curate collection of clothing and their prices reflect the work it takes to maintain that.

This is an amazing place to get used items at a low price! I always come here to buy clothes and apart from it being near a lot of stores it's a nice walk. The reason I've rated it 2 stars is not because of service, prices, or customer service but at how low you get lowballed for bringing clothes to sell here. I understand the store must make money on what they buy from you but the amount you get is absolutely outrageous. So in (my opinion) sell your clothes online or somewhere else if your trying to get at least some value "money" from your items. Nonetheless it's not a bad place!

Do not waste your time going there! The place sells trash and falsely advertises that they buy used clothing, almost looks like it’s just a front for some “other” activities. They do not have any sustainable ambitions which would be important for a second hand clothing recycling business. They mislead people that they accept used clothing just to create traffic because they do not even look through the bags you bring them! I made an appointment and brought a big heavy bag with clothing which adhered to all of their website requirements and even beyond, I then left the store and actually watched this scrawny dude through the door window. He did not even look in the bag and left it on the counter while continued to chat with his coworkers. He then sent me a text 5 minutes after the drop off. He gave me the bag back and said that “because of our inventory levels, we won’t be accepting any clothes”. He was so pompous as if he actually works as a Prada distributor and not a second hand clothing store “buyer”. If that’s the case, do not make me drive across the city, adding to traffic and pollution levels, you should care as you are supposed to be a sustainable business! For a lot of people, a clothing recycling business is not even about the money you might receive for your used clothes as we all know, it’s pennies (we know we would spend more $ on gas to get there), it is mostly a hope that someone else can use their clothes and it is not just going to a landfill. To hand me the bag back and not to offer to recycle it to goodwill on my behalf after I made an effort to drive there because of their false advertising practices is a major flow for this business and unacceptable lack of basic customer service. Who the hell are you guys to make people drive to you and you don’t even look in the bag because in reality you don’t need these donations; you are a bunch of liars and phonies.

don’t try to sell your clothes here. I brought in 40 items all in season and the worker looked at it for 5 minutes and didn’t take a single item. very ridiculous and the workers were not helpful or nice

I had to drop off the vintage clothing that I had so it could be looked for their consignment for resale. It was quite a drive. On their website they don't tell you by appointment only. Anyways they turned everything away. I wasn't impressed at all with this establishment. All their second hand clothes are all way over priced.

Don't waste your time here. The employees there was rediculous. I brought in many season good condition clothes to the store and they just took probably 2 minutes to look at them and told me they don't accept pajamas. There were plenty of jackets, jeans, and shirts inside the bag and they just ignored them. Very disrespectful and rude.

Wow...an experience to remember.
I thought this place was a vintage shop as it advertised..Come to find out it happens to be worse than a used car lot using bait and switch on customer s either buying or selling.
I previously had sold a few pieces of collectables I had.The following few days I had one sweater stolen from me directly from the shop while shopping at other stores. And including employee to owner denies it ever happened. I wouldn't go back to this pretend vintage shop that uses a front to take quality merchandise from customers.

I do not like to write negative reviews of places by any means, but I must say this place was HORRIBLE! I went in with a box of almost 25 garments, all what I believed to be nice (I had polo, volcom, even stussy) and I waited around for thirty minutes only for them to tell me they didn't want to buy a single one! What a joke. They should get rid of their sign out front that says they will give you cash for clothes because in my experience that was anything but the case. Two thumbs down.
