Visiting Addison Antique Store was a special. delight. A friend of mine had told me to be sure and visit Addison Antique Store when I am visiting a friend from Rhode Island's daughter who is enrolled in Stanford. Due to the upscale address of Palo Alto, I expected to find the prices way above my budget. To my surprise, I found some exquisite items and at quite a bargain!. The customer service was warm, friendly and informative. Deany Brady

Went into the store in hopes to gain more information on a few items I had, after all their website says "We love antiques and love to share our knowledge and experience with our customers" when I walked in I was asked if I needed anything and I told them I was hoping to get more information on some antiques I had. One worker asked if I brought them with me and I said yes they were in my car (they are heavy so I didn't want to bring them in unless I was sure I could get help.) when I told them this, the first worker asked the second "Do you want to go check them out." To which the second woman replied "No, not really." I wasn't sure what I had done to deserve such a rude attitude but I wanted to get information on the items so I offered to bring them in. when I brought them in the ladies looked them over and both concluded "Google it" ....I had taken the time and effort to bring these heavy items into the store only to be told to "google it" "We love antiques and love to share our knowledge and experience with our customers" = "Google it" The entire reason I had decided to go to an antique store was because I could not FIND any information on the items on google. So overall I found the service rude when I dont feel I had done anything to deserve the attitude, and being told to google information when I had been hoping for anything was a very frustrating response.
