First time shopper here and picked up a brand new pair of AG jeans for $16 that retail for over $200! The staff at this location was extremely friendly, their inventory was well displayed (by size and color), and the selection of offerings was immense. Great experience overall and I can’t wait to return!

One of my favorite spots in Roseville. I prefer it over Crossroads, Plato’s Closet, and Goodwill. I have found some of my most complimented pieces here! About 3-4 racks per size (S, M, L) of tops, handful of seasonal or new racks, lots of jackets, skirts, pants, jeans, vintage, athletic wear, and final sale items. Men’s clothing section is limited but they always are, still some great tees. Love freestyle 💜

Nice thrifty place, great selection and not a bad price. Many stpres lack the amount of decent options this store offers and most of the clothing is thrifted by others and they are all name brand. Not to mention you can sell clothes to them.

They take into account how important it is to show different sort of styles on mannequins, their prices are great! (Expect for some of their jewelry but even then it was a decent price), the males department is fairly big and even then they can go look at other parts of the store, I love how they color organized the clothes too, very nice staff and overall a wonderful experience!

Got some sweet items that I certainly wouldn't have been able to afford brand new. Love it!

I brought in 3 trash bags of clothes and shoes and several pairs of shoes I've only worn once in their boxes. I have never consigned clothing before but after clearing out my closet and reading yelp reviews Freestyle Clothing seemed like a good option. The staff working were all polite and explained their process and the season of clothing they are currently looking for (no boots or sweaters). I had a lot of those items mixed in but they were happy to sort through everything for me.

It only took 20 minutes so I browsed the store while I waited. I found a pair of Levi skinny jeans and a pair of Lucky Brand bootcut jeans that were in great condition and super reasonably priced! ($11 for the Levis and $16 for the Lucky Brands)

They purchased 16 items from me which got me $84 in store credit or close to $60 in cash. They let me split it and I bought my $29 worth of new jeans with credit and left with $38 cash and 3 slightly less full trash bags of items they did not keep.

Overall I had a great experience and will definitely be coming back.

I've purchased and sold clothes here. They're more fair in what they pay for your clothes than Crossroads Trading Co. and their prices are more reasonable.

Great place to take your great fashion clothes that you are tired of wearing and trade them in for some awesome pre-owned fashion & new stuff. No cheesy old smelling stuff🤓 just your cool great Fashion that is still hip Trendy & clean:)

We shop a lot at the Sacramento midtown FreeStyle, but find that this branch has better clothes. layouts etc are not much different - staff are nice, we got some good stuff and they took a few items.
Next to Trader Joes so plenty of parking. rarely crowded enough to have a line.

Everyone was very nice. Selling clothes however, proved to be a waste of time. It seems they essentially want new clothes which they can sell at half off - making a 70% margin as they will offer you 30% of their price.
I took a bin of lightly used clothes in and only 2 items were selected. I suppose if you have new women's clothes which you are unable to return, this may be a good idea for you.

I’ve gone shopping here a couple times now and have got some pretty neat finds. Staff is super friendly. Seeing a lot of negatives about dropping clothes off here but unfortunately can’t speak on that because i haven’t done that at this store. Enjoy shopping here tho. All of the things are moderately priced.

This store had a really nice variety of outfits, my only issue was that some items sold had holes, tears, or even makeup stains on them. I was wanting to buy this really cute shirt but when I took a closer look, there was orange stains all over it. My opinion is that the store is worth the look, just be cautious of the things you buy and do a double take on them just in case theres something wrong with it!

Nicer than expected clothes. Men’s jeans had a great selection pretty good prices although higher than thrifting, were in almost new condition. Women’s clothes had some cute dresses & jumpsuits but I felt we’re priced a bit high for previously worn stuff. But I did find a few things I bought & am very happy with.

You can always find a treasure here. Selling clothes to them is my least favorite task but they are way better than the other popular trade in clothing place.

The staff is friendly, capable, and helpful. Prices are fair and there is an eclectic variety of clothing options. I have three teenagers whose sizes and tastes are regularly changing, so this store is a perfect fit for us. AND for the more sartorially -discrimanate -but-on- a- budget shopper: there are some deep cut finds.  Like an unworn, $300, Tori Burch dress for $25.

Pretty cool spot! They got some pretty trendy stuff but it’s a bit pricey. Ended up buying a really cool jacket for $18.

Eh. I've been a few times and there always seems to be a surprising number of things that are really worn/damaged being sold for more than they're really worth. I tried selling some of my own stuff and I didn't expect them to take most of it (out of season), but even the stuff that was in season they didn't take. I understand that they may have had enough of those sort of things already, so that's fine. But they never bothered to call my name to let me know that they were done. I was waiting in line to ask about it/buy some things and when it was my turn one employee walked off and the other completely ignored me until I finally started to ask if she could help me. Then one of the reasons she said they didn't take my stuff was poor condition. I found many items in the store in much worse condition than my stuff. In fact the stuff I brought in was all very lightly used, so I was a bit miffed at that.

I don't know. I always feel a bit judged/ignored when I shop at Freestyle, and many of the items (used ones, not the new stuff) are priced higher than your typical thrift store as well. That being said, there are always a few gems to be found if you search. For example, I saw a super nice London Fog jacket that looked practically new for only $25. I probably won't be back, though. I don't really care for the poor customer service.

clothes selection is nice, however the employees were discussing very inappropriate relationship details amongst each other. the subject matter made me sick. i hope they change their ways.

My experience here was not good. The first thing I didn't like was that I had to drop my stuff of until the next day sometime. It said on the slip I was given that my buyback would be ready by the following day after 11 or something like that. So I came back in at 11 and they still were not done so I had to make 2 trips. Then when I finally did get paid they gave me a check for 54.00. The check was a B of A check. I don't bank with Bank of America but there is a B of A in the same parking lot so I went to cash it and the bank charges me 8.00 to cash it. Overall I would not recommend this place it takes them way to long get you your money and then it's in a check form.

I’m pretty sure I got 11$ for 75$ vans that were brand new...if your clothes aren’t high end or super trendy then don’t expect much from them. Workers were nice tho

The store is big & well-organized but the employees are rude. They only buy & sell one style of clothing. When I came in the first thing I smelled in the whole store was weed. The employees didn't bother to tell me that they were done looking through my bag. I had stepped out after dropping off my bag & the guy looked at me & welcomed me in when I came back, I had only been gone 5 minutes.

I’ve sold here a few times now and it’s safe to say it’s honestly not worth it. You can offer them a pair of brand new doc martens, they’ll give you $10 for them and send you on your way. I’ve taken multiple bags one time of good clothes, they didn’t buy a single thing. I wasted my time getting to the store and having to come back the next day because they have a 24 hour hold policy. But they’ll buy cheap shein items and sell them for more then they’re worth on the actual site. Friendly workers, but thats all it’s got going for it.

Not worth your time and effort to try and sell anything there. I folded about 30 items neatly into a laundry bin to sell to them and they offered me $8 for just a few items including a new jacket that was originally $80. I would have never put in the work to drop something off if I knew they weren’t going to accept the majority of the items and also offer me pennies basically. They also forgot to put some of the items back into my basket when I came to pick up them up from them and I had to go back the next day again to get the missing items. Very unprofessional and poorly ran.

Been managing retail stores for a decade. This location is gonna go out of business if it doesn’t get its act together. At 6:30pm on the dot the employees are yelling across the store to each other “who wants to do it” some girls says “I’ll do it” & proceeds to enthusiastically  shut off the music and yell with pride and joy “the fitting rooms are now closed it’s 6:30 if you want to buy something do it now because we close at 7.” Then they all started frantically pulling in the signs, loudly shutting the doors and giggling. Listen I get it… like I said I’ve been there. I’m sure these kids are getting paid dirt, but there was maybe 3 people shopping and the store was basically recovered, there was really no reason to rush everyone out so rudely. Mind you it looked like they were already closing a register so idk what on earth there would be left to do for closing that would've prompted them to rush out the customers that way. I left some of the things I was gonna buy because it left me with such a bad taste in my mouth.

P.S. & this one isn’t on the employees but $29+ for raggedy old free people is not the move. Do better…

I called in advance, hours ahead and spoke to a nice gal, Angelle (sp?). She was very helpful. I was clear to indicate I was coming from the Auburn area and wanted to bring in certain items to see if it was worth the long drive. When I arrived, I became VERY disappointed. I brought in fall/winter clothes only for the very unprofessional "buyer/supervisor" to say they don't fit the season they're looking for. I let her know I had spoken to Angelle who assured me the majority of my items would qualify including a barely worn Guess black blazer, among other items, and with the exception of a more formal-like purple gown.

While she was reviewing my items, I perused through the store to kill time. It didn't take long before I saw other work-attire blazers and formal dressers, not a lot but some. I brought the blazer from the floor to her attention after she told me it doesn't fit what they are looking for and she looked at it and said they accepted that one because that's the Emo style they're looking for. How is an all black blazer NOT considered Emo? The last straw was selling them a long North Face rain jacket and only getting $5 for it. I felt judged the moment I walked in by this buyer/supervisor. I wish I could go back, give them the $20 they gave me in exchange for the clothes, grab my stuff & never return. Needless to say, I will NEVER go back there AGAIN!

Horrible!!!!!!! My mistake to buy something and not notice a huge hole in the sleeve. Can’t even sew it , because not on a seam. They put on the final sale rack, so I could not bring it back. What a horrible dishonest company. I will never shop at Free Style again.

Used clothing overpriced. Same pair of shorts brand new is $14, same pair of shorts here used priced at $16.  Don't waste your money here on used clothing overpriced.

Dont like the policy where you have to drop off your clothes for 24 hours. It is very inconvenient especially in a busy shopping center like this one. It feels like they dont take time to go through your clothes and make quick judgements if the items are not trendy, even if they are in excellent condition by brands like free people and pacsun.

They refuse everything. Idk how they even have an inventory. This is my 3rd and last time going here. Don’t waste your time.

I came in to sell clothes, dropped off a big bag Friday evening. I was told they would call me when they were finished looking through my clothes. I never got a call. I called back Monday, wondering why they haven't contacted me. I was told they donated my clothes and they don't call to contact me ??? The girl I spoke to said “ya we have new girls working here and they probably didn’t tell you “  What the hell. They were nice clothes I could have sold else where. I was not made aware they donate your clothes if you don't pick them up the same day. Be careful ladies, they could be taking your clothes for themselves saying “they donated them”. Basically stealing 🤷🏻‍♀️

This place is worse than Goodwill. I have taken bags  of new clothing, new shoes, some with tags still on only a few months old and they don’t want them. The items they’re selling are old wrinkled smelly, torn stained junk. It’s a joke. Found a super cute Free People dress and went to try it in and it had tears all down the side. Not sure how they stay in business. Good luck!

When I went into that store I was feeling all excited but when I left I felt ripped off. One because I came here to sell some stuff and had brought a pair of true religion jeans and some nikey items but they bought none. Then when I decided to browse I had been looking to buy a red coat. But on closer expection it had a hole and it’s button was falling off then on top of that the arm stitch was ripping. I can guarantee that I will not be coming back to waste my money in this store.

The selections of plus size was very minimal . It's 😥 to see ONLY VERY SLIM sizes. The men sizes are small as well. If you are thin perfect store for you

Called ahead of time and was apparently given the wrong information as the woman at the counter made sure to inform me. Most frustrating part of the experience was being told 35% cash over the phone by an associate but told only 30% cash by the woman and she would not honor the over the phone percentage at the counter.
To top it all off, she told me she was no longer buying anymore clothes for the night and had stopped over an hour ago and yet I only called and spoke to an associate in the store about 30 minutes prior.

Took a ton of nice, name brand clothes (miss me, Hollister, VS PINK and other) in that were hardly worn and some with tags. I had specifically called ahead of time asking if they would take certain brands and items that i had in which they told me were things that they take.. The staff was rude and told me they wouldnt take any of my items because they werent up to standards in brand names and condition??? REALLY?. I had shopped the racks while waiting for her to shuffle through my things and noticed there were dingy/old and "out of season" items, so it didnt really make sense as to why they denied mine. Will never be back.

I don’t even know why I waste my time coming here. The girls working in the counter are so arrogant. The girl with the light pink hair/wig has no customer skills at all. I asked her a simple question and she looked at me like I was crazy. Then her and the other girl pricing the clothes were talking about their coworker and said she was mentally restarted. I would hate to work for them and will not go to the store ever again.

Some of the staff is rude and they don’t keep good track of your items while they’re looking through them. Not coming back, terrible customer service.

I had been coming to this place for awhile now and selling my gently used and brand new with tags on In season clothing /Bags . I had spent gas and drove out multiple times to be told to come back they don't have room to buy anything so come back. And I did just that once again , and tried to sell some new items I haven't worn two bag fulls And Specifically they only bought my brand new with tags on $35 dollar denim skirt from forever 21  for $3 DOLLARS 3 DOLLARS!!! Are you kidding me ?? I'm never coming here again I feel so ripped off I could have sold it anywhere else and actually wouldn't have been ripped off and I wouldn't have had to waste my time and gas coming out multiple times . And the answer why they wouldn't buy any of my fall items is because they said it was 100 degrees that day . When in fact on the website says there taking fall -winter items and styles . What a waste of time . There's so many other places that will buy your gently used clothing and pay much more than what iv seen this place does . I feel scammed never going back .
