Good place to shop and even has charging for my car

It's a hit or miss. Today, I miss but won't stop me from visiting over and over. Great place to shop. Have purchased a sofa, lots of art, big ticket jewelry and even gifts

One of my favorite places to browse furniture! Good selection of unique and vintage jewelry too. Easy parking lot. They always have a couple of gorgeous antique pieces- vanities, desks, lamps. Fair prices. I walked out with a lamp/glass side table combo piece with gold flowers for $80. It's so pretty! Always someone on hand to help load your car. Seamless experience!

Nice furniture, variety of styles, not all of it is used, but all of it in such great condition.  Fun to look through every few weeks because furniture is sold and new furniture comes in.  This is a great place to buy slightly used garden furniture - the really nice stuff!  Jewelry too!

Found this gem of a store by accident. I  bought a great wooden table and chairs, plant stands and other home accessories over my now many trips there.  Their volume changes weekly. Quality furniture! Affordable for the most part and a revolving selection

This place always has good stuff, at reasonable prices. The staff are also really helpful, and parking is never a problem. This is my first stop when I need new furniture.

Made the process of consigning furniture so easy!  They provided end-to-end services - from assessing the items through payment - everything was timely and efficient.

These guys totally deserve 5 stars. Anyone can say they can make things easier for their clients but very few actually do. I literally dropped my furniture off to HCC, then picked up my paychecks in the mail. Not sure if it gets any easier than that. Thanks HCC for being very efficient with my time!

This place is my go to for something new and unique and designer finds too, for discounted prices.  I also like the staff. Thoughtful and nice.If I have one critique it would be the pace is not high energy--the pace is a bit slow. But at least they are accurate. Overall I recommend this place for furniture finds!

I had 2 Tiffany lamps and 1 embroidered wall hanging which I took in to them. 2 weeks later we left for TX and the consignment enter has been wonderful. Selling the items and sending us the checks as promised. Highly recommend them for  honesty and integrity.

They sell lots of great stuff,got fair prices for my things I no longer used.

I enjoy browsing the Home Consignment Center as generally they have good quality home furnishings at reasonable prices.  When my mom lost everything in the  Tubbs fire, we furnished her home mostly by shopping here.  She loves all of the items purchased!  Floor stock changes all of the time, so plan on stopping by regularly.

They have refused a beautiful round oak clawfoot table because it had no chairs (alas). Also a few other items. Thankfully, Habitat for Humanity is right down the street in San Carlos. They have gratefully accepted all leftovers.

We have bought many pieces of furniture from the store over the years. But when we talk to them about consigning some of our furniture they're always so snooty and dismissive.

I've had positive experiens here. The people /staff are lovely. BUT have you heard their new radio comercial? Ok rise above.... those gender roles are over! SHOW some evolution.

Expect to be followed and not asked if you need help if you don’t fit their profile of a “buyer”. Two stars for their hidden gems. Zero stars for customer service and stereotyping.

Very expensive. A lot of the stuff I saw you can buy new for around same price or cheaper.

I brought Arthur Court Collection to the San Carlos CA Home Consignment Store, the lady I worked with thought my Grapevine themed Water Pitcher/Chip n Dip Dish and Square Salad Bowl would sell pretty quickly... I was rushed to sign Consignment Agreement, after 30 days I reached out letting her no via email, that if my items are still in their store, id rather try another way to sell them, she replied letting me no I can return and retrieve them... When I arrived, She claimed my Arthur Court Grapevine Water Pitcher had sold the previous evening... I expected to receive payment... She told Me I had to wait up to 60 days for a check in the mail! Did she Sell my item? I advice You to think twice before dealing with this Company. I still haven't been paid. And the consignment contract did not mention 60 days before being paid!

Disappointing. My mother in law referred me to this place. I walked around for an hour with no one offering any assistance. The older asian gentlemen was rude and no help even when I asked him.

I used to like this store because of their wide selection. But have since realized that it’s overpriced for the quality. Bought a small dining set for close to $600 that we later realized was weighted incorrectly so we almost fell off the benches multiple times. Bought a hall table for $200 that ended up being wobbly.

Today tried to get an estimate on a couple pieces from one of the staff members and was treated incredibly rudely. She said she couldn’t give us estimates without seeing the items in person (false, I’ve gotten estimates over email from their sister store in Campbell before) and dismissive tone upon seeing that one of the pieces had slight scratches made us feel like we weren’t worthy of her time or energy.

Not coming back to this place.

This place is a mess.  Management is a mess.  I brought in four paintings (originals, a set).  They were on consignment for a fixed period. When I got my first check the period was just about up and I wanted to see where my paintings were. They couldn't  find them.  They were supposed to keep looking and call me. They never did.  Then they sold the paintings after the agreement period had expired and against my consent.  Never again.

The place itself is nice and has lots of good furniture. My review is for the jewelry department.
Wanted to consign some jewelry made from genuine gemstones. The lady at the jewelry section was absolutely dismissive and gave racist vibes.
She was ok over the phone, but in-person, she seems disinterested even to talk properly. When I had asked over the phone if she would appraise the gemstones, she had said she would give an estimate. The reason I went to the Home consignment was that they were recommended by the gemologist association.
Unfortunately, she just couldn't wait to get rid of me and showed no interest. Maybe my color didn't appeal to her.
