A rare breed of clock repair technician. The shop deserves to be in a Hollywood movie. You have to see it to believe it

David knows clocks. He loves old clocks. I'll bet he could fix the sun on a sundial but anyway he knew precisely what was wrong with my little clock that I bought in a Tulsa antique shop 40 years ago. He explained why bad repair work over the century caused the watchathingydoo to finally wear out on my watch (SORRY!). Very reasonable price too, one might think we were back in 1980s Oklahoma.

I've worked with David a few times over the years. He fixed an old Art Deco "Golden Hour clock years and years ago, and we had him back out subsequently to repair our grandfather clock. He was delightful and efficient on both occasions and when our grandfather clock broke last night (my fault) he came out today, a holiday, to fix it on the spot. He's very knowledgeable, friendly and professional. I have two more clocks, one that needs attention, and he'll be working on that one, too. I would not be going back to him so many times if I didn't trust him and rely on his great service (and if I didn't have so many clocks !) Not only that, but he keeps such good records that when I called him last night about the grandfather clock, he remembered the Golden Hour and his past repair of our grandfather clock. That's the kind of attention that is so nice for a consumer (vs talking to a computer) Part 2 - this is the second review of David's work. Excellent, on time, and you pay what he estimates. And he did little things that were above and beyond to make my clock running absolutely perfectly. Unlike Dorian's, where he talked down his competition, charged $100 more than initially estimated, and took well over a year to fix. I would never go back to him. I prefer working with upbeat, professional people that I can refer to my friends, and know that they'll get excellent service.

First of all, Mr. Smith is just a very delightful man, He worked with us at our son,s home on German grandfather clock, set it up and running after 2 years out of order. Then we returned to his business location and were amazed at all the clocks, like a museum! This man is a true Artist! Although we are visitors from the east coast we highly recommend this true gentleman! John and Maria
