Probably my favorite thrift shop in SLO. The store is well organized and pretty spacious. The staff there are awesome, the prices are great with a lot of sales and there's some great tech here.

We love stopping by here when we are in town.  It is a fun thrift store that is well organized.  We have found some good finds!

I always seem to find what I need. At a fraction of the price. I went in for a white western shirt and bolo tie. And I came out with a very nice pearl button shirt , dove filigree bolo and a spare regular tie for $12.00 !

Great thrift store with the FRIENDLIEST young ladies working in there. (I wish I would've asked their names) It was my first time going there and I was pleasantly surprised after visiting 2 other thrift stores beforehand. I'll definitely go back next time I'm in town. My new favorite thrift store in town!

Best thrift shop in town! Great prises.instore discount. Nonprofit all earnings goes to the children's fund. Go on Thursday for  to get more off your purchases. Donated items get you a 15 percent discount towards next purchase.

Cute place, very low prices. Large selection. They do take donations. Right now they are limiting capacity, so don't go too close to closing time.

This is a great thrift shop. The prices are unbelievably low and there’s usually some sort of discount that fits with you. Such as the vets, student, etc. The only thing I would have to say against it is that they don’t restock all that often. It’s hard to find something new if you’re going for a second time or more.

Very well organized thrift shop. I like how they accept anything from pet supplies to fishing rods to church school costumes. The only thing that made me sad was that they had goldfish in tiny plastic containers nailed to a wall. They looked sad and dead. Otherwise this store offers so many books and cookware that you may never need to buy new ever again. The staff is also extremely friendly.

Overall it's a very nice thrift store with a good variety of stuff. Fairly well organized. Good selection of records. Usually I find a thing or two to buy. Staff is friendly. Prices are usually fairly reasonable.

The selection on the books and cds isn't great, and they're pretty expensive compared to other thrift stores. Don't get any books here unless they're really jumping out at you.

Fred and Betty's thrift store it's very organized and clean. Prices vary. Due to covid-19 you can't go in and get the good finds anymore. Staff are very good at following the guidelines be prepared to stand in line and be patient.

I visited this store a couple weeks ago and viewed an item that they had put up in the window. I asked if they were planning on selling the item and I was told that the item would go up for sale once they got new items. I asked if they could hold the item for me, in which I was told that they would keep it for me and I could purchase it when they took it out of the display; They took my name and number down, and I was told I would receive a call when the item was ready to be sold. I noticed today that it was no longer on display and went in to ask if I could pick up the item. That was when I was told by the ladies working at the register (they are not the issue, they were super friendly and tried to help look for the item, and even offered to give me a different item in exchange) that the item was recently sold, according to the workers due to a change in management :( I am extremely unhappy and extremely disappointed in this store. The management seems to be the issue, as I was told the item, and contact information was provided to the manager. I will never come back to this store again, and I really hope this review is seen and the owners take into acknowledgment that the management in the store needs to be fixed. If this happened to me, I'm sure it has happened before, and Im sure there are many other dissatisfied customers. If you are looking for a thrift store that cares about rapport, and returning customers, this is not the place for you.

Staff here are unfriendly and bothered that you are shopping. Prices were posted around which was nice but it was also unclear what “sale” was happening when since multiple are listed on the same day. Ended up leaving with half of what I wanted since it was double the price I thought I’d be spending.

Wrongfully accused of stealing a camera. I had my husband ask for assistance in the electronic section (where there were cameras displayed). SA said go ahead, it's an open case. I noticed it was already opened, but went ahead and asked for assistance regardless. Therefore, I take out the camera I was looking at. Then another lady comes and grabs a camera from the case, I saw her put it back but I wasn't watching her, I was looking at the camera I took out of the caseline. The other lady put the camera back and walked away. I went ahead and looked at the camera as well and put it back then closed the case. All of a sudden the SA said she had to watch me, I didn't mind, I wasn't doing anything wrong. Then all of a sudden she asked me where the other camera was. I said I put back what I was looking at. She said "No, there was another camera, where is it?". I answered her, I didn't see another camera..Then she asked "where was the other lady who was with you?", I told he no other lady was with me. I told her the other lady looking at cameras was another customer, not part of my party. She is freaking out and honestly I felt discriminated. I don't know if it's because of what I was wearing and that I was looking at cameras, having a camera around my neck ( I'm a tourist), I'm here visiting from out of town,  My hobby is photography, so naturally every time I go to a thrift I always want to look at cameras.
Cashier told me , as I decided to pay for my items, that she wasn't accusing me of theft, but I told her I felt she was. It's not my fault she left the case open from the beginning, before I even went to look at the camera the case was slightly open. I told her to review cameras when she asked me where the second camera was. I love thrift shops, but I will not be returning to this one. Sucks, but she didn't know how to handle the situation and I don't like how she made me feel. Being the only minorities shopping at that thrift and she accused us both of stealing a camera that wasn't even there when we approached the caseline.

I had a typewriter in my hand at the register, and a woman in line said "I saw that, and was thinking about buying it." The girl behind the counter said "well, she was thinking about it so she should have it."

...and they sold it out of my hand.
