Absolutely stunning store with beautiful pieces and extremely friendly staff who are passionate about their work. This is a hidden gem in San Rafael. I purchased a beautiful lamp that I previously passed up on but so glad I went back for it and lucky it was still there. Can’t wait to come back and find more treasures!

Very professional and knowledge. I purchased a beautiful antique oak dining room table w/inserts, and 6 chairs at a very reasonable price, on a Sunday afternoon. They had it delivered at price so low that I tipped the delivery guys $80, which almost equalled the original delivery fee. We are up a path with many steps on a steep Marin hillside, but the two guys from Lugg didn't bat an eye, and I had my table in my home before dark.

We came when the store was closed, and guess what they let us in, it was so nice of them… because we found beautiful unique furniture with wonderful service from Pete and Maciek… love it, they were so welcoming and so professional… we went to a different consignment store and we were so disappointed because they closed their store 10 min earlier… please support great people with great thoughtful service !!! Highly recommend them…

This place is incredible. Family owned with exceptional customer service. Honestly, if everyone was as attentive and nice as the crew that runs Design Plus, the world would be a better place. They are *always* willing to go the extra mile to help you. They greet you at the door with a smile EVERY TIME. They are just consistently positive and upbeat and the store has SO MANY great items. Items are high-end and in great shape. They also have a "wish list" you can sign up for where they keep an eye out for items that you are looking for. I love that they post everything on the website for both locations too. You can't miss by giving this place a visit! And better for the planet too. If I could give more than 5 Stars I would!
