I think Habitat for Humanity is a real friendly hands on service place.  They are donated too, so that others can enjoy much needed things for humanity’s much needed enjoyment.

I love this location. Amazing couches, sofas and cabinets.

This place is like a thrift store for home improvement items. They have items like tile, sinks, doors, and furniture.  The stock changes so it may not always be available.  Pricing is very good.

There are a lot of used goods for sale here. Some of it is better than others. The staff were friendly and helpful. Anything that is there today might be gone tomorrow. It is all for a good cause.  I encourage everyone to use these stores to find what they might need.

I just bought 8 brand new matching doors from them! It’s such a steal sometimes. Customer service is great and I’m always happy with them.
I’m updating this review because I’ve been buying so many things here. I’ve gotten paintings, tiles, lights, and a brand new claw bathtub! I swear, 80% of the things in my house are from them. Looking at the pictures, the things I got from the Restore are: the paintings, the dining chairs, the blue couches, the desk, the long mirror, and the gold buffet table. Haha🤣 it’s amazing that they all match. And you could see the door I got from there too. There are a total of 8 doors that got installed that are not in the pictures.

Fantastic second hand store. All the stuff here is good quality and the prices are amazing.  You really should go take a look.

I have been visiting the Santa Ana store for several years. I always find something I love. The store room is clean and organized. The manager and staff are always helpful and friendly. They also have a return policy that allows 7 days to make certain the items work for you. Love this store.

It's a warehouse that has all kinds of different home furnishings and knick-knacks, and it's extremely cheap.
There are piles of art, and a lot of things are under $30. I saw a ton of furniture that I love, and almost everything is under $100,  one gorgeous bar cabinet, was $150.

They have lighting, tile fixtures, art, and, of course, knick-knacks, which I personally love, because I think they're so fun. They have some really wonderful things, especially if you like to restore!

This review has been long overdue. Habitat for humanity has been my go to for the past 2 years. The staff is always very friendly and helpful. We recently remodeled a bathroom and used tile from habitat for a fraction of the cost of other big box stores. We have also purchased our sofa from them and are very happy with them. I have attached pictures of our bathroom, both floor tile and bath tile were purchased here. We have received so many compliments on our tile and have recommended Habitat to family and friends. It also feels good purchasing from a company that dedicates their business to helping the community in so many ways. We are absolutely obsessed with this store and our bank account is too.

This place is great if you want to donate furniture they're friendly and very professional. I love it. Please make sure you call before you drive there just to make sure they can receive the furniture 💯 recommended

Great place for furniture, paint, windows, sinks & tiles, & more. Trucks bring stuff 6 days a week, and discounts from 15% to 75% ! Everyone is very friendly & helpful too !

Good place for opportunity finds. It's worth the stop of you are looking for an item at a discount but it's a hit or miss. We were looking for a fridge and they did have four. But I didn't like any. It was still worth the stop as there were other things we found.

Best place to find good preloved furnitures. And cheap good quality building material like tiles.

Love love love this place, clean and friendly environment. Price items are colored tags up to 75% off, new items are price as is. Well organized, good variety of merchandise. Found a fantastic deal on a new Macy's stainless steel 7.5qt Dutch oven cooking pot and an opened but new board game I'd been seeking. What a nice Christmas stop! All at less than thrift store prices!

Don't go here. I want to make sure that I'm the only one getting the deals that they have. Seriously, though, here you'll find one of a kind items, including the kitchen sink, literally you will find an actual kitchen sink; Also tools, granite table tops, tables and chairs, big doors, patio furniture. See, it's really too much so you don't want to go there.

Another great store! We were on a roll, a field trip really; hitting up Habitat for Humanity! Good for the soul to give back while stocking up at the same time! Thanks for the great deals and service.

I love this place. Three weeks ago I saw a grandfather clock. It was 125. Missing pieces. $12 dollars in parts and two hours on utube. Bam $1800 in appraised value. Today I went in and found a wall clock...... Good times coming.

A great place to shop @ with friendly and helpful employees working there. Some used and some new items. Great prices. Various discounts during the week.

This is a large thrift store and I would come here if I was looking for a good deal on furniture. We have bought a number of items here including books, chairs, an adjustable computer desk, and other things. There are no clothes here. The store is clean and organized. Staff are nice and have even given us deals when the item is damaged. Parking is free in the adjoining lot.

Love coming here. They always have different stuff. Sometimes they have a lot of refrigerators, sometimes only a few. They usually have a good selection of couches. I find the most random stuff here! Some of it is a great deal and some of it, not so much. We bought a solid two-drawer file cabinet for $30.

It's a great place to find stuff super cheap and things to refurbish. My son got a dining room table for $10. We had to fix the stand the top sits on but for $10 who could pass it up. Hubby got a push lawn mower for $20 (I forgot to get a pic).

Need to check in often to get good deals. Sometimes the pricing is out of line. I have checked on some of the pricing and sometimes found things cheaper at Home Depot or online. Always double check the pricing.

Went in to look for desk lamps.  Since it's a whatever-comes-in deal, there weren't any.  We saw sofas for $150 or less, china cabinets for $300 or less, and literal yards of tile flooring, among other things (they even have kitchen sinks).  If you're looking for inexpensive and lightly used renovation items whose proceeds go to a good cause, this place is worth a look.

Overall I love these restore shops. The variety of items is an ever changing pallette and I'm usually pressed to not buy more rather than not finding anything. My only issue is prices seem inconsistent from store to store and sometimes by a large amount, coupled with certain items that are nearly retail vs. very cheap  I'd love to offer some pricing guidance but all in all its not that much of an issue.

Small store but it has a descent size show room. It has a lot of furniture not many doors or washing machines like most other locations.

While this might not be my taste, I can totally see why stopping in might be a good idea.  There are your usual share of used, shabby outdated and down right knicked-up pieces of furniture that you probably could do without, (keep in mind they have probably been donated).  That said, you can also comb through the rubble and find some hidden gems.  When we were there, there was a Bosch wall oven - newish, and a kitchenaid built-in refrigerator for starters.  If you like to hunt for junk there are literally kitchen and bathroom sinks - some of which were on the road to being designer.  You will also find lots (like enough boxes to complete a project kind of lots) tile, both wall and flooring.  Lighting was another thing the Habitat for Humanity ReStore had in abundance.  If you have the time, it might be really fun to dig through their supply and see what you can find.  Outdoor furniture and luggage (not sure why they had luggage, but still) were other items that were lying around for all to see.  All in all, kind of a fun trip.  You most likely need to go back a few times, but you'll have fun doing it.  Enjoy!!!!

Great place to shop, hard place to donate to. I’ve gone twice to donate items. The first time, I couldn’t find a single person to help me. Today, I got there and saw a sign that said “no donations on Sunday”. I figured I wasn’t the first person to show up on a Sunday (with a truck I rented specifically to donate stuff) and asked an employee if they had any recommendations of other places to take stuff. They kind of shrugged and said Goodwill or Salvation Army (both of whom don’t take building supplies). I went out to my car and found another ReStore donation site in Laguna Niguel that takes items on Sunday (but doesn’t sell). Kind of frustrating they couldn’t just tell me that (or maybe they didn’t know?).

So I am not a bit of a fixer upper but I came here because a friend of mine said they have some great items here.

Upon my initial visit, I actually drove past the place because I didn’t think I hit the right location since the storefront seemed so small. Upon entering, however, it looks a little bit more like a warehouse and has the goods out on display for you.

Perhaps I came on a day when there wasn’t an amazing selection but in all honesty it’d be hard to come up on a really great deal with minimal effort to restore it to working condition. Plus, I found that the pricing on these items wasn’t exactly in the ideal range and I could have probably just bought new furniture on sale at IKEA and called it a day.

But if you love that kind of diy thrill and are looking for some great antiques, then this place is for you.

The items you’re able to donate are different than what is listed on the website. I tried to call to get clarification and was sent to voicemail. I would suggest getting clear guidance on what is accepted before trying to donate at this store.

We drove here to donate several almost new items on a Sunday only to be told they didn't accept donations in Sundays.  With gas prices as they are,  seems like they could have just taken the items,  as they were obviously accepting a couch.  We looked around anyway and were shocked at the prices on things.  New choices at the big box stores will be similarly priced or cheaper.  I typically love these places,  but this one seemed too expensive.

I've been going to these stores for 7-8 years. They used to have a lot of revolving inventory and great pricing. I have picked up some incredible deals throughout the years and their model seems like a win win for everyone involved. However in the last 6-12months it seems that they have less inventory and the pricing has now come close to buying retail on many of their items. I visit 2-3 of these stores on a weekly basis and I get the same impression at all of them.

Been to other ReStores and loved them. The deal breaker was their poor customer service. Not helpful. Waited in line for a clerk who loved chatting with the couple in front of me. 5 clerks were at the desk helping others who came after me. Then once I finally made it to the cashier, they wouldn’t honor a 25% off deal for an item that fit into the category. They will give you 10% off if you give them a good review in Yelp. Did not want to give them my money after that. Not the friendly, helpful, and do-good chain I remember.

Lots of used furniture at so so prices.  Some pieces were just plain expensive others reasonably priced.  A lot of furniture needs work.  A few pieces were bargains.  A lot of staff so you can presumably get help right away.   I was hoping they had more stuff for home improvement but it's really a furniture store.

I emailed them to get all my furniture as I was moving and my furniture donation was way above $1500. They said no 😞 and they didn't come. I posted on Facebook marketplace and nextdoor I gave away all my furniture to people in need.

Shame on you habitat for claiming you rescue furniture when you are too picky. It's a shame you didn't get the donation and made money for your cause!!

While I do like coming here, the prices have become very expensive lately. They are competing with department store prices for used items and supplies.

Another major thing that led to my low rating was when I went in and purchased a piece of furniture, the cashier took my phone number down, without telling me it was for the receipt, and when I look at my receipt on email later in the day, I noticed that there’s a $.76 “round up” that I was never asked about!!! WHAT?! NOT ACCEPTABLE.

If I was asked if I wanted to make a donation, I would’ve made a decision, but for them to make a decision for me and automatically takes $.76 without me approving it is very unacceptable. I don’t even know what the round up is for!! I did not like this, overcharging is fraud as the customer is being swindled into rounding up without their consent for a bogus charge.

The prices are really ridiculous, the employee gives me one price, and the manager gives me another price and they have no coordination.  I was a customer and now I will dedicate myself to giving bad comments about that abusive store

They have taken a huge decline in the past year or two. Over priced big time!!!  No deals at all. There stuff was stuff people would put in there trash. This stuff was not donated by good investors . It was mostly trash.

This place is not cheap.  I thought this place was to help families in need.  The prices for old and dated furniture was well over $100, like $199, $300 etc.  Even at a discount it's still over priced.  I saw new Ikea folding chairs that retail for like 14.99, priced for 29.99 with a sign saying discounts excluded.  No thanks,  crooks, like all these so called non profit organizations.

Worst place!!!!. Really hated it. Score  (-2) Prior they had senior discounts on Tuesdays whole store.  Had to push for that infomation stating other stores had 10% discount at that first time there at new location.  On  2nd time back at old location of store,  shopped on Tuesday (senior discount day) brought several items up to purchase but told would not give discount because it was donated by a hardware store True Value(somewhat damaged items & out of season) & would not give senior discount on those items.  Several other reStore stores give discounts & very by days of the week & some have other reward awards for shopping Rehab!  Store much better under old management! I have been there many times in the past over the years.....cleaner & better selection of items then.  I now give a ( -2 minus) due to their attitude.  Items seem to lack selection, items be more building supply or used furniture.  The store attitude is very poor will not waste my time in the future to shop there, prices do not make up for lack of selection of items, selection of items have very limited by catagories.   Items are easy to see due to lack of selection but is clean.  Been to more than 7 seperate restores over the years & several other like store.  Very poor selection, prices a bit high at this store, if you are not familiar with area a bit hard to get to...Good luck!

This place is absurd!!!   We wanted to donate a virtually new couch.  We purchased the couch new, it was 3 years old in show room condition.  The clerk met us at the van and pulled the couch out.  He spent more time inspecting and digging into the seams then the time spent for most of my physicals.  Id say a good 10 minutes.   While digging into a deep seam in the back, forearm deep,  after removing his arm he found still barely on his finger a tiny bit of debris maybe 1/128" wide then he excitedly exclaimed like a gold miner finding a nugget, "it has bed bugs, we cannot accept!!!".   I said it looked like a piece of peanut shell but he was quite adamant.  How can one argue for accepting a free donation that we delivered? So we dropped it off nearby at the Salvation Army who were more than pleased to accept the donation.   We hope it finds a deserving home.  After doing some research later I found that the debris looking nothing like the pictures of bedbug bug shells and further one will generally dozens or more if infected.  Not a single microscopic bit of flotsam.   So if you do still decided to donate to them be sure to vacuum  all crevices that could conceivably hold something that a Retore entomologist clerk could interpret at bug remains.
