This Place is the place I think of first when I want to get some good games going! The people are great and the store and everyone working there are all filled with Nostalgic energy. They always seems to have what other stores are missing, at least for what I look for and that’s not just the stock but the workers are just people I wish to bring home n play some games with! I’d recommend this store to be your local store to have under your belt and keep relations with!

Insane collection of retro games and consoles. In a great location. Great place to swing by if you're a TCG lover or retro game collector.

GameTime is a solid addition to the Bay Area retro game and TCG scene. Apparently they started as a card shop off the Great Mall. The game selection is pretty solid with a good share of hot titles in amazing condition, though I didn't see any holy grails the last couple times I went. Lots of solid Pokemon and OP cards, graded and ungraded. They have a wicked console selection in the back, most of which looks to be in good condition. The staff are nice and always chatting about either cards or games. Prices are pretty good, beating market prices on a lot of their inventory. When I heard they were a sister shop of Retro Rewind, I was worried they'd be priced higher. Really happy to see this store here and hope to see their inventory grow!

My favorite video game store in Santa Clara! Best selection of retro games in the city. Picked up a bunch of PlayStation and Xbox games. They also have Pokémon cards and sports cards.

A store for the people! I love Collectors Club I go in whenever I can. Josh and Jalal are the best owners, they really take care of the players in the community. They have all your trading card needs when it comes to product and single cards. If you are into Pokémon they have one of the biggest and most fantastic selection that I have seen that's super well priced. If you are a Magic player they have hidden gems that are a must see. For whatever you are into Collectors Club has you convered. Big fan of the store and what to see they continue to succeed.

Went here with my gf for Christmas! 1st off  no other store be grinding on Christmas so these guys have my respect. This shop has a great selection, places to sit and trade, knowledgeable and friendly staff, and amazing prices. When I mean amazing prices, I mean amazing 🔥. The store owner was so kind and actually wants to help you instead of trying to skimp and make money off you like other stores. If you’re nearby, I’d stop by and see for yourself.

Milpitas resident here for 25+ years. Grew up going to Brian's Books (way back in the 90's) and Black Cat Comics to get my collectible fix until they closed down.

Collector's Club has been my new go-to place for Pokemon and sports cards since they opened up. Friendly/helpful staff, great prices on singles, and they are active with weekly events, from video game tournaments to trade nights.

Highly recommend this place, only positive vibes here and it's a great place to meet and conversate with others who share your favorite hobbies.

This is a neat store with all their old video games -- nostalgia central! Definitely worth a look, but they don't have a lot of TCG cards and no bulk boxes like are pictured in some of their old photos from their old location.

This is a clean and air conditioned or at least ventilated card shop which is rare. It's fairly small, kind of easy to miss and has a tiny parking lot. They mostly cater to Pokémon people, not too much else

Went in to ask about selling games, was told that they would offer me 75% of the value. Came back later, the person I originally talked to was not there. Brought in a few games to check for prices, was offered 30% for the highest price item I brought in, and roughly under 50% for the other items. I questioned the price, turns out they use pricecharting.com for their prices. Turns out that they:
1. Weren't looking at the correct version of the items (new vs. CIB vs. loose, while all my items were either CIB or New)
2. Didn't add up all of the games I brought in
Was told their machine must be glitching (they admitted they use pricecharting.com for prices...what does your computer glitching have to do with a website) so they took me to the other computer to try again. Was then offered a total of 50% of the value I brought in for credit.
I understand how businesses work with buying low and selling high, but when you tell customers you offer 75% of the value and then offer only 50% in CREDIT (meaning offering even less in cash), don't correctly add up all of the items I brought in (4 items), blame the bad prices on a computer not updating the recent prices (while using a website), your business just looks a little bit shady.

The good thing about this store is that if you're looking to BUY items from here, the prices are pretty on par with collector's value. You won't find good deals, but you won't really overpay for items. The store is clean and decent otherwise, though the random gaming accessories/toys are right in front of the cashwrap which makes it a bit crowded if they're helping multiple people at the same time.

At the moment, Pokemon products are in very high demand with most product distributors being sold out. This has forced us to source products via FB marketplace, Offer Up etc., and the deal that you mentioned you witnessed, was likely one that was facilitated through the aforementioned marketplaces. While we would love to be able to acquire all products through our distribution channels to sell at MSRP, less than 5% of all products we carry comes directly from distributors, meaning that our cost is well above market price.

While we do collect personal identification as required by California law, we do not request information about where our customers source their products so as not to invade upon our customer’s privacy. 

We apologize if our price labels in-store were not clear, but we strive to keep all of our prices at the TCG market price, evidenced by our Paldean Fates ETB pricing at $109.99 (TCG low-verified ~$109), and our 151 booster bundles at $69.99 (TCG low-verified ~$69). For these products in particular, in-line with our sealed product purchasing margin, our cost for these products are $85/box and $55 per box. This card shop regularly does business with scalpers who clear out the local pokemon vending machines. I overheard a conversation between the store owners & scalper who promised that he’d continued to clear out the vending machines to keep selling to GameTime. Supporting this business enables a larger issue of resellers hoarding product and upselling at a huge profit margin - taking advantage of kids, families, and collectors who are unable to find product at stores & vending machines.

Prices are ridiculous here: Paldean Fates ETB for $160 when MSRP is $55… and 151 Booster Bundles for $80 when MSRP is $28.

This shop supports scalpers, pays scalpers to go clear out Pokemon Center vending machines of all their stock, and sells product at a crazy up charge.  I understand that demand for pokemon tcg products are very high, but shops should have access to dealers and distributors, and shouldn't have to stoop low to support scumbags who clear out vending machines just to sell at a profit. I saw them do business with a scalper who was very arrogant, proud to say that he had cleared out several machines and had lots of extra stock for them to buy and sell at an up charge to customers. The store feels like it's trying to be an apple store, there are no tables to settle in or even play cards, i don't think they even host any sort of events for the community like trade nights, it really does seem like their sole purpose is to move product and make profit. They have zero integrity business practices, i saw them lowball customers trying to get their cards comped for sale, and they are what's wrong with the card collecting community. The whole experience in the store left a bad taste in my mouth. The only redeeming factor is their fem employee, who was very nice and complimented my girlfriend on her hair claw clip, was very helpful and made sure we knew she was ready to help us with whatever we may need.

Shady and greedy practices by this shop. Witnessed this place purchasing products that were scalped from local stores, only to resell them at even more inflated prices. It’s disappointing to see a business engage in price-gouging, clear local stock, and take advantage of customers. I highly recommend supporting businesses with fair practices instead.

On dec 23, I stopped by to sell some pokemon cards. The employee working that day told me they only buy pokemon cards on weekends. I asked if any of that info was on their instagram and he said “no”. There was no signs about buying stuff on weekends either in store. Waste of time. Would not recommend coming here. This store should be more transparent on their policies. Their instagram bio literally says “We buy and trade everyday” with “Pokemon” on top of it smh. Also a few seconds later, that employee told the same policy to another customer about weekend buying for pokemon cards. I am not the only person wasting their time driving here to be turned away
