We had our 1950s O'Keefe & Merritt stove completely restored at Dream Stoves and were very pleased with the outcome. It came back looking and working like a brand new one. Also, Christian was friendly, professional and great to work with. I can highly recommend Dream Stoves.

UPDATE: Little Miss Cali, is still going stong! Thank you very much Christian!! Appliances are not made to last nowadays! My 1952 O'Keefe and Merritt has taken a lickin and keeps on ticken!! I bought my 1952 O'Keefe and Merritt from Christian Maupin 16 years ago. She is still beautiful and running like a Queen. I call her "Lititle Miss Cali" Ironically, she came from Santa Barbara California, where I was raised and live for a long part of my life. I had my stove shipped to London Ontario Canada. I wanted to share a few comments surrounding Christian and Dream Stoves. Last year I started a restoration project on my OKM stove. My stove was in terrible shape and needed lots of TLC. I had no previous restoration experience and was desperate to find technical help. I live in Northern Calif and found Dream Stove Inc. I consulted with Christian several time via phone and email. He was always quick to respond and took the time to help me untangle several problems. He provided suggestions to source hard to find parts and basically provided excellent guidance during my journey. Christian loves what he does and his restored stoves are beautiful. In closing, I think it's important to know I have yet to purchase anything from Dream Stoves. Christian is very helpful and puts a lot of time into making sure his customers are happy! Suggestion: After you pick up your stove, pay him for a 1 hour maintenance tutorial! It will help so much as time goes on!

We purchased a 1953 Tappan Deluxe stove from Christian to be the centerpiece of our kitchen renovation. He did a great job and the stove is beautiful. He was very helpful with prompt responses during the planning process as we asked questions about measurements, range hoods, clearance for the gas line, etc. After the sale he honored his warranty when adjustments needed to be made by a local contractor to some of the gas line fittings, and in providing replacement parts for a broken knob.
