This place has really anything you can possibly think of... computers, monitors, printers, furniture, clothing, electronics and whole lot of other things... Got some nice stuff for reasonable prices, also the owner is allways happy to help you and have a quick chit chat with you

This place is awesome. It’s a thrift store but also rents U-hauls!One of the kindest owners I have ever dealt with and he really helped with a rental truck  us after the Budget down the street gave away our reservation. I highly recommend checking them out!

Distinctly unique. Large Huge Building. Many Isles. Need to experience yourself.  Value form Budget to Collectable to  Expensive .  Home,  work, musical, Art, Furniture, Carpet, Glassware, Sport,  clothes, jewelry, books,  NickKnacks,  lamps,  Antiques,   and More..  not  a rush thru store.  Make time and plan visits. .

I've been here several times and the owners are very nice. Plus they will work with you. They have quality stuff and a clean store. I'd choose this store over any other thrift store just because they VALUE you as a customer.

Best thrift shop in town! Can’t beat the prices. Mike is super helpful and has so many unique items.

Great selection. My only grievance is their prices are a bit higher than what I'd see at other thrift stores. I don't know why that is so I can't knock them for it. Again,  great selection.  Worth checking out every week or so.

Everyone was helpful and courteous. They have great items here. I was shopping for a stand for a microwave and coffee pot. I found the perfect piece. I didn't know this place existed. My son wants to go there. So I'll be back soon.

Definitely one of the biggest come ups of the year. If you need ice on your wrist this place has a wide variety of Rolex,Omega and hublot. Came here once and found some major heat like gucci slides and a LV supreme Duu rag which I gifted my grandma for her birthday. She absolutely loved it.

I love this store! Its a gem in the valley and the only trift i shop at. They have a good variety of items and I always find what I need and more. It is very organized and the staff is amazing and very helpful each time I ask for help.

I personally love the place. They have many things that where used in the movies as props. They also have cool new and used furniture at a fraction of the cost. My interior designer friend first introduced to this place. It is like Disneyland for her.

This is my favorite 2nd hand store to shop for all my ornate interior designs. Ive furnished a good portion of my home through MTA. They offer delivery and incredible service. They always have a great selection on furniture, rugs, home decor and everything that you might need for your kitchen/home.

I think this place is more than, no better than anywhere I've seen even in Hollywood. The clothes are T D F!!!!!

I enjoy finding treasures at my local MTA thrift store. a laser printer, a few computer cases, electronics, and a real great priced laser printer were found here.
The prices are amazing. Condition of most antiques and valuable finds are within my budget. Their employees are very pleasant and very kind to interact with. They also sell Furniture, Clothes, and vintage items. One day, I found a Super8 projector in near excellent condition! wow. It still had its vintage box. So, with that mentioned; their range of selection in items are excellent for most who are on a budget.

This place is really great! They have some REALLY nice stuff. I was surprised. I went in just to look around and walked out a printer, clothes, a pots and pans set, and an audio cable for my video camera. The place is big, packed full and has a lot of variety.
Highly recommended.

Even though there isn't a terribly wide selection, you can find stylish high quality items.

Huge place well organized & clean. Friendly owners/workers. Lots of home furnishings decor and clothing. Most items priced if not you can get a price. Overall a well stocked thrift store with great finds.

Aaron was the guy who helped us. He was very nice and super knowledgeable about the MTA Thrift Store. We were going to but a Casper mattress but he sold us on another bed. I feel very confident in our choice. Im sure we'll enjoy our mattress once it comes.

Big bustling thrift store with a nice clothing color tag system where every day one or two colors are half off. Large array of furniture.

Men's clothing section is a bit limited, plenty of suits though. A lot of furniture and household items. Items are a bit overpriced. Staff is very helpful. However, parking can be a nightmare.

I love this spot but none of the employees have worn masks anytime I’ve gone there during the pandemic (early on and recently) doesn’t make me feel comfortable at all. Too bad too because they usually have great finds but I won’t be going back until it’s over.

Way over priced for a thrift store especially in Van Nuys. Inventory not set up very well which makes it harder find good finds.

You are absolutely right : we cannot control who enters our store, however, we always have staff present able to handle any situation presented....including removal of persons interfering with our customer's shopping experience, in an unacceptable manner, shoplifters, etc.
Please, please notify staff immediately, if such thing will ever happen to you again, no matter where you are shopping.
As for your comment, in regards to our store being disorganized, we will have to disagree with you on that. We take great pride in the manner that our store is presented every day to the customers. This is one of the best things that sets our store apart from other thrift stores - super neatness and display of major organization skills.  We know that our store looks impeccable at any given time because customers notice every single day and they compliment us on it.

The selection of clothes were relatively unorganized, but given the size of the store it's reasonable that not everything will be organized perfectly. The furniture was beautiful and in perfect condition, but too pricey for me. While I was there people sounded like they were arguing, and while I could be wrong, the volume of the conversation made me feel on edge.
However all these qualities together did not earn this only 3 stars. While I was there I encountered an elderly man who followed me around near the end of my visit. He asked where I lived and if i wanted to go anywhere else (im assuming With Him). Not only that, but after saying that I did not want to go with him I heard him follow me out of the store. I'm unharmed and safe but am extremely alarmed. I know that this place has little control over who enters the store, but it would bring me peace of mind if there was some sort of security guard I could notify should this ever happen again.

Large store.friendly staff. Tons of furniture which is great for someone who is starting out.

My opinion they don't have anything worth going.  I'm different so other's may like this. Prices are ok.  I didn't see a dressing room.  Parking is decent.  It is an ok thrift store but not for me. I drive from long beach so it's on A or D. I didn't buy anything but I would give it a "B-" it's a store that's not for me but overall I think it's a good thrift store. . I'm picky so I love shiny things.  It's not their fault but it's supply and demand.  Not my cup of tea but to others maybe.  It is organized and  cleanish.

Have never been able to enter the store. It's always either closed (despite arriving during operating hours as shown on the sign) or full of items in the pathways to the point where I can't get my wheelchair in the door. Wish I could experience it.

There's a ton of stuff here, but unfortunately I didn't feel comfortable purchasing anything since none of the employees wore a mask. With omicron in full force here, I don't want to potentially be exposed to the virus, so I had to leave.

Super pricy and the people that work there didn’t have masks on. Avoid avoid avoid.

They have lots of furniture but much of it isn’t much better than you would find at a Salvation Army but prices are wildly overpriced, WILD.

After finding this place online that was close to me, I was excited to check it out. I was looking for some inexpensive furniture, and it seemed that they have a decent selection of used furniture there. When I got there, I found a piece that I was interested in. That was before I noticed the $165 dollar price tag. I couldn't believe they were asking that much for a scratched up used entryway table. I wouldn't have paid more than $50 for that piece, if that much. I walked around looking at the prices of other furniture, and in my opinion, every piece was WAY overpriced. This is not the place to buy inexpensive used furniture, so buyer beware.

Trash heap, disguised as a horde. Impossible to look around, and if you do find something interesting after crawling around the filth, you’ll be paying eBay prices for it. Avoid.

The two people working behind the counter were loudly talking politics the entire time I was there. Fine. You do you but I’m gonna go ahead and spend my time and money somewhere I don’t have to listen to the employees saying gems like “I don’t like Democrats because they’re liars and thieves”. I’m sure they won’t mind losing the business of a lying, thieving Democrat like me 💀. But I’m just posting this to give potential customers a heads up about the super welcoming environment. Kinda killed the vibe for me. ✌️

The photos must be from years ago this place was dirty dingy and the worker had just turned on some of  the lights when we got there which was  15 mins after they opened. If you need furniture to upcycle or want a vintage piece this might be your spot  but most items were in boxes stacked to the ceiling and covered in dust.

Don't shop here unless you want COVID. NO ONE was wearing a mask. Not the security guard, only some of the patrons,  and NONE of the staff! Insane.

We always try to specify on our price tags, if  it’s used or new.
We also sell other items, like appliances, household items, home decor and clothing that are new in box or with tags, but they are always priced way below retail.
It's unfortunate that you have been confused by the prices, and we suggest for the future that you inquire about pricing.

I used to walk in this thrift store on the regular. After today I will no longer walk in. One of the employees there was hovering over me and was getting on my nerves. I was checking the costumes. I found one that I liked. I looked inside the bag to check if the costume was complete. This a- hole worker took the costume from me and told me not to open it. I looked at her and I said to her that I was going to buy it and wanted to make sure all the major stuff was in the bag. She had the audacity to take it from me and put it back on the rack. I don’t know if she was saving it for her self or what but that was extremely rude. I told the owner and they exchanged words in their language and the owner brushed it off like nothing and took her side. I had a bunch of stuff that I was going to purchase but I decided to drop it all and walk out. They don’t deserve my cash. Save your money and go elsewhere. They over price their stuff due to them purchasing stuff rather than it being donated.
