Our trip to Playdays Collectibles yesterday (March 30th, 2025) was memorable. My daughter, Jay, was immediately drawn to the pink Hot Wheels on display. As we were about to leave, Manny kindly overheard Jay expressing her wish for a pink car. He generously went to the back and returned with a random Hot Wheels for her. But his kindness didn’t stop there – he also gifted her a pink Team Transport set complete with a pink Dodge Dart and hauler, and even a Barbie doll dressed in pink! Having been a customer of Manny’s for years, I know he’s a great person, but this act of understanding and generosity towards my daughter, recognizing her love for pink cars, truly brightened her day. She was overjoyed and couldn’t stop talking about her new treasures. Thanks again Manny!

Manny is an awesome guy. His knowledge of Hot wheel cars is amazing. An inspiration to everyone in SoCal who are new to collection or want to learn more (like myself ).

My family & I visited LA from Boston & my son scoped out this place.  He & I collect diecast specializing in NASCAR & premiums.  OMG!!!  We both walked out with many treasures & the owner offers competitive pricing the more you buy.  Every diecast collector MUST VISIT this store. 10 stars please!

Amazing store, small by the size but GINORMOUS by the inventory: probably tens of thousands of die cast cars.
The owner and his employee are very nice and welcoming.
You can probably find any model you want. From the latest Hotwheel or M2 to old Matchbox from the 70's.
I didnt have much time but found 3 gems. I'll definitely come back.
When you buy several, boss give you a good price.
This store is well worth the trip if you are in LA or Orange county.

So nice to walk around they have so many things. A collectors paradise.

Awesome! What a place. Hotwheels heaven. Looked this place up online in the UK and made sure to visit during my week-long vacation in LA. Could've spent the day there and felt so welcomed. Highly recommend any collector to visit.

Hot wheels Heaven! Along with other Collectable die casts. Great store to buy, sell or trade. The owner is fair when buying, or selling.

I've always find incredible cars, especially foreign brands like brums corgie dinkies. Some times I find slot cars also. Fun place and reasonably priced.

A die cast car collector's wet dream come true! A small but surprisingly very well stock of collectible die cast cars (and other cool items such as star wars figures). Hot wheels, matchbox and so much more here. Staff was a bit quiet at first until I broke the ice and said hello and it was cool. So many cars everywhere, so be sure to take your time eyeballing everything or you'll definitely miss out on a gem. Prices are moderate to expensive (after all we are talking vintage collectables) just depending on what your looking for. Be sure to stop by and support this business and prepare to flashback and be in aaaah!

I'm from Ohio but I'm in LA for a couple days, and decided to go hunting. I couldn't find thing at the Targets,
and nothing at a couple other stores either. My girlfriend found a place called PlayDays Collectibles in Whittier, CA.
We drove about 30 mins, and before I arrived I kept my expectations pretty low, but once I got inside my mind was BLOWN! They had pegs and pegs of tons of things I was looking for! The owner Manny, and the former owner's son Carlos were so friendly and chill.
They helped me with everything and answered all my questions. I was there for about 2hrs just looking thru
their inventory! I managed to grab about 25 items that I've been wanting. He even went alllll the way to another
storage building to find me the Speed Machines 911 GT3! I was so pumped about that!

Manny was so cool, we chatted a ton and shared some stories. He even gave me a discount on what was listed
on each item. I had no intent of trying to negotiate the prices down at all, but with the discount I ended up paying only ~$7.50 per piece. Manny even asked to interview my girlfriend and I for his YouTube channel, and
even let my gf and I pick a free item. I ended up picking a MiniGT LBWK Aventador and she picked a Corvette.
All in all, great experience. I would highly recommend you guys check out PlayDays Collectibles!

One last thing. I contacted Manny when I got back to my hotel, because I thought I had more in my basket when I was checking out. He accidentally forgot to scan an Advan Fairlady Z and a Koenigsegg Jesko. He told me he would ship it to my address in Ohio! I wanted to Venmo him but he said no worries! This man is a great human being! If I ever come back to L.A. I'm definitely making a return to PlayDays!

I'll make this review simple. If you collect diecasts, then just go and you WILL NOT walk out without buying something. They have so many brands. This place is great! I drove from about 1 hour away.

JUST GO. I was able to find stuff that I can only find on eBay. This place also has a YouTube channel.

UPDATE: I went again in August of 2023 and walked out with more diecasts! From wall to wall, you will be greeted by diecasts of many kinds. You will see lowriders, muscle cars, trash trucks, exotic models, race cars, 4x4 trucks, transporters, classic cars, and so much more.

They have so many brands to choose from. Obviously, Hot Wheels is probably the most you will see. But they also have M2 Machines, Mini GT, Kyosho, Greenlight, Tarmac Works, and much, much more. The owner isn't always there, but I have seen him there before, and he works the store. He doesn't just sit in an office in the back somewhere. He's worming and talking to customers.

I highly recommend this place for your diecast needs. The owner can even help you do a wheels swap right then and there. Thank you.

I love this place, the first time I went there I got 5 new hot wheels I never knew existed. I recommend this place for people that only prefer real life cars and no fantasy cars.

I was looking for a 1/87 scale forklift but most were already sold. I left my number with Manny in hopes of getting the smaller sized Matchbox forklifts in the near future. However, I bought 5 cars, three of which will be used in my diorama. Next time, I will come earlier to spend more time there because it does get crowded at noon. If there are no parking in front of the store, you can park on the street. Great customer service!!

My sons love collecting cars, specifically the ones from one of moms favorite movies fast and furious , here they were able to find some of the ones from the first film. Really recommend coming here to look around if you like cars, owner is really friendly there is another worker who is there sometimes and a bit more on quiet side

Very good place for model car collectors many brands involved a great variety of cars very good customer service and help ful fully recommend this place drove 1hr and 30mins do not regret i an willing to come back.

I've been going to Playdays Collectibles for 6 years now. I've been a fan of diecast since I was a kid. Of All the hobby stores, toy stores, and mega stores that I have been to in my life, This store is by Far the Very Best with no competition! Manny, the owner is extremely friendly, greatfull and knowledgeable of diecast. He is also very passionate about diecast. When you step into his store, you will think you made it to Heaven... He has what looks to me is hundreds of thousands of diecast cars in his store!! He says that he has way more stored elsewhere. Amazing!! Pure Fun!! I can spend days in his store and won't see everything...Thank You Manny for giving all fans of diecast cars Pure Pleasure!!

Cool little store.  Owner is very nice.  You can find just about anything here.  Can't find it?  Ask the owner.  He was more than happy to help me find two little corvettes.

Manny is friendly and knows his stuff...I would say he has patience to answer questions but again which avid diecast collector wouldn't be happy to share knowledge. The go to place in Whittier California for all your diecast and hot wheels deals! There were cars from all different kinds of manufacturers. All the diecast collectables you could ever imagine owning. Prices are reasonable as well! Got me a great deal on 4 awesome looking pieces!

One of my husbands favorite collectible shops, tends to go at least once a week.  When unable to find a specific hard to get diecast Manny is the go to guy.  Owner Manny is a knowledgeable, passive collector.  Forgot to include also fair with pricing.  There is not many stores of these in the So Cal area.  Can wait to come back!!

Super legit Hot Wheels and diecast collectibles spot! The owner is an authentic collector and all around cool guy. It's easy to stick around and chat about cool collector stuff every visit. I highly recommend!!! Warning: they have a lot of legit items, so make sure to be ready to control yourself hahah

Store owner does not order his stuff from distributors or the manufacturer he goes to stores uploads videos of what he bought supposedly he says they are souvenirs and then resell them at ridiculous prices half of the stuff that he buys are from other scalpers.  This is why we can't find any highly demand collectibles at Walmart targets or any other general store that sells toys and collectibles.  Because scalpers like him.

Over priced and the employee working there was rude and unhelpful was waiting at the register to be helped and he just stood there talking with other people and not even acknowledging me even though we made eye contact

Small shop went in looking for figures mostly hot wheels. Picked up two dragon ball mystery bags only to open them and be knockoffs $14 down the hole. Not coming back to this spot

I drove 15 mins to get to this store and the bold dude working there didn’t even provide any customer service not a hello or how can I help. Had one single question as this store is sloppy and not everything has a price tag. I just walked out and went to another store. Don’t waste your time coming here. You are better off using offer up or CL.
