Great store with an impressive collection and knowledgeable staff. I called from Texas to buy books for a friend, end of the day, and the staff patiently found my books and called to other stores to make my order  complete. Made a great impression, and I'll visit again this summer 4.25.

Loved this place! I was hunting for a specific comic and my friend told me to check out this place. Not only did I have what I was looking for but I also got some extra comics that I love! Definitely going back!

This is my go to comic book store. The staff is great, knowledgeable, and friendly.  I love coming here with my son to browse or pick up a book they've set aside for me.

Great staff. Huge selection of trades and current comics. No back catalog of books. Big selection of magic the gathering. Really nice layout overall.

Great atmosphere, very welcoming. Every nerd should experience a true comic store at least once and this was mine.

Been coming here on off for over a decade. Really great layout. Well maintained inventory. You can call and check what they have. Easy to find what you need. If they don't have what you want they'll get it. Excellent customer service. Even have a kids section at a lower level so they can browse.

From my experience there when it ran games back then, it was a goated place to play, and now, it still is a goated business. I'd highly recommend any comic book buyers give this place a shot.

Amazing little comic shop for all your modern comic needs! Not great for back issues, but they have a great supply of TPB and graphic novels as well as a great online pull list. On top of that, the staff is incredibly humble and helpful. Highly recommend them!

Went in for a manga, they were super friendly and greeted me when I came in. I asked about pre-ordering box sets and they offered to pre-order it as soon as production picks up. They have a big selection of comics, small selection of manga but still worth looking at! Thanks for the help! :)

Of all the comic stores in California there's something special about Collector's Paradise, and her sister store in Old Town Pasadena. The place casts off the stigma of dank and dreary comic stores with poor lighting and a uninterested clerk waiting to berate you for reading before buying.

The staff is always helpful, always knowledgeable, and ready to help you find something, and if it's not on the shelf they'll find a way to get it for you. In the day and age of online markets it's tough to look past the discounts you can get online, but I assure you that Collector's Paradise is no novelty. There's a reason to go brick and mortar for your books and graphic novels, and this place is setting the standard that could save all shops from the vortex that is online shopping.

Observe proper etiquette! Browse, don't read, and for the gods' sake put books back where you found them.

Awesome store. GREAT staff with a TON of space. Like it looks small from the outside and when you walk in it really opens up. But once again, the customer service here is great. You feel like old friends of the staff :)

They were cool with my gaming group borrowing some space to play, and even carry dice and maps! I saw a nice D&D display, and so many cool books.

Greatest comic shop ever! The staff is amazing (approachable, friendly, funny, not gatekeeper-y in any way). The selection is also amazing, one of the best in any shops around. The walls are lined with trades and volumes. They don’t price up comics, because they sell pretty much most new comics, so their shop is useful beyond just getting an overpriced single issue from 1987. This store has a selection and staff that can introduce you to new creators and new reading experiences, and that really matters to me. Not only that, but the staff is so great that you’ll sometimes just want to come in to talk to them. They’re that great. This comic shop is amazing.

The staff at Collector's Paradise are some of the friendliest people around! Not only are they super knowledgeable but they are eager to talk about whatever it is you may have a question about. On top of their massive collection of both current and old trades and single issues, they have lots of collectibles, souvenirs, clothes, games, and cards. Great comic book store. Been years since I moved from Earth 2 and never regretted it (received bad treatment from Earth 2 years ago even though I was a regular customer). Subscription service is pretty cool (get a discount for subscribing to titles and rebates for buying graphic novels). Employees are great and friendly.

Great staff, great prices. Sign up for their rewards program, it's free! Their comics are always in pristine condition and everyone that works there is super helpful.... Whether you're new to comics or you've been an addict for years this is the place to go, haha!

Honestly the best comic shop in the valley. They don't hike up their prices, great selection of other products and organized in a way that makes sense. Also great excited personalities behind the counter very helpful, unlike another chain.

This place is filled with an amazing selection of comic books and other novelty goods. I have been going to this place since I was a young child and have been loving it ever since. About a year ago this August when DC came out with its New 52 I signed up with the store for my own pull list. I get free bags and boards and 10% discount off my pull list. I am also a graphic novel member meaning I get 20% credit onto my account which just adds up.

The crew behind the counters are amazing. Everyone there is as friendly as can be. Very knowledgeable and passionate about their work and the comic life. They don't act like normal business people, but act more like your friend and make great recommendations for future selections. I recommend this comic shop to anyone that is interested in comics, novelty items, or trading cards!

Not bad,  if you know what your looking for.  Back issues aren't really a part of this place.  So current books are easy to find but not if your looking to fill some holes in your collection.

Came in as new customer a couple weeks ago and have come back a few times since. It's a great shop. Really well stocked. Good deals on collectable like statues. A lit of good stuff on the shelves. Only complaint would be that the employees aren't always friendly or welcoming.  1st visit was great but other visits it was 50-50 that I'd get someone that would even say hello. Sometimes they're on the phone waaaaay too much. But if you know what you want you should be able to walk in and get it without having to deal with anything crazy.

Very good comic store with a huge selection of both comics and trade paperbacks. They have a lot of action figures and some art as well. Nice place with good staff.

This is the actual reply that caused this unhinged review:  "I am sorry but we are just not interested.  Those spawn comics are not worth a whole lot.  and we don't buy too many comics from that period.  We do not buy sports cards either.  Please look for someone who does."  Does that sound rude? Someone has delusional beliefs that their items are worth a "retirement" as stated in their email and it's just not true. I don't think our reply was rude, just factual.

Horrible my dad has a collection of comics around 700 not opened comics factory sealed from over 50 years ago and I was trying to contact them and they were awful I am going be contacting the bbb I can’t believe how rude these people are good luck

How's a place named collector's Paradise not going to collect sports cards, I called the gentleman was quick to get me off the phone very short answered and not knowledgeable on any other card shops in the area that would consider sports cards. Collector's Paradise to me means that y'all would collect everything y'all need to advertise that you do not accept sports cards or collect them

Rude staff, acted like they couldn’t be bothered while sorting new comics, no time to answer questions and just brushed off my friend and I who were both willing to spend our money and time had the staff been more welcoming and engaging.  Will never go back here.

Your store is called Collectors Paradise...yet an employee gets snarky with people who ask for older comics, saying your store carries comics for reading, not collecting. Might want to rethink the name of your store there, Sport. Won't return. Much better comic book stores in The Valley who will gladly take my money.
