Its a one room cacophanous hole with jewlery and oddities covering every surface. Huge variety. Funto browse but only buyifyou have experience un spottingfake gems. The owner tried to pass off immitation jade and tourmalinetome as real. To be fair im unsure if this was malicous or if his vision is failing. He admittedhimself he is colorblind.

Guaranties EVERYTHING is Silver/Gold and one off. Purchased about ten items for $1000 total. When brought 2 back that were not what I was told, I wanted to trade for equal value (about $50 worth) but he not only refused to make trade-in, he said he never told me they were what I claim. He tried to take the 2 items back with no re-fund and call it even because he said he “discounted” the total items (~$1,000) by about $50. I told him that was not reasonable and to argue over $50 on a $1,000 sale seems petty, but he quickly got rude and tried to keep the 2 items. I told him to call police because he was essentially robbing me; he hand me the two items back and told me to leave and I did saying I will never come back and tell anyone that will listen not to buy here. I am a fair and honest person and did not think this was a big deal to exchange $50 out of $1,000 purchase until owner made it one.

Great selection it would seem.... Worst customer service I have ever experienced. Look them up on Yelp if you want to see several examples.

Walked away from this shop feeling embarrassed and ashamed. I had some jewelry I wanted to get appraised/sell, and never having done so he asked me to name a price for the whole lot. I asked him to make a suggestion but he refused so I made my best guess. He told me to "take the zeros" off, said absolutely not, and called all my stuff junk. And when I was boxing my things up he didn't even mention I'd left something on the counter. I went in to the Antiquariat looking for help, hoping to sell and hoping to buy but I unfortunately did none of those things. He offered me less than my jewelry’s worth in weight, and did so very rudely. I was really hoping to have nice things to say about this store, since he once fixed something for my mother, but I had the kind of experience that makes you want to warn others so they don’t get treated the same way.
