A great resource! Hope for schools know of this place, they have bags of pens and pencils for cheap! However, many of their markers and pens don’t actually work or are about to die.

Art parts is one of the most unique places I have ever been. As an ENVD student, I constantly need supplies for models and tools for drawing. Art parts has affordable, second hand materials and tools. Usually it is a one stop shop for whatever I am doing.

A wonderful place to browse for inspiration and wonderful oddities for any art project. Their mission to keep things out of the landfill and pass them on to people who can use them is noble and beneficial to everyone! You will not regret coming here for your crafting needs. They have A TON of fun stuff, they are non-profit as well. They have so many little neat pieces to help with any projects including; glass, tile, misc trinkets, frames, old photos, free magazines, sewing patterns, fabric, paints, thread, beads, you name it!

I absolutely love art parts! Such a great place to go when you're starting a new project, they have cheap supplies that are usually enough to get started with. The whole place is creative and chaotic and inspiring. Fantastic yarn and scrapbooking supplies! The staff is always lovely, and seem to really care about what you're making.

What a cool nugget of a place.  I’ve been staring at my mom’s art supplies and wondering what to do with my mom’s beads…etc.  inherited all kinds of heirloom type stuff that has little value to me now and/or little value compared to 15 years ago…this place use proceed to pay rent then any profit goes to the community.

I stopped in for the first time yesterday and I'll definitely be back! I love the overall concept of this store and could have easily spent even longer perusing. I was astounded by the low total for some amazing finds! Though the inventory will vary, most artsy folks and crafters will likely find something here. I've been burnt out from creating for so long, so it felt fantastic to be inspired and have some project ideas surface while I was shopping. I'm excited to visit again when I can!

Fantastic treasure trove of art supplies! There is always something new. From papper crafting, fabrics, mosaics, painting, gagetry, calligraphy, or anything else you can possibly imagine in an art project they have it. The staff was friendly, engaging, and helpful.  The space was clean and well organized. I also loved knowing all these supplies were saved from the land fill for a second life. Will definitely be visiting regularly.

I love this place! It’s like going thrift store shopping except everything is crafts! It almost goes without saying that if you’re not crafty you won’t think it’s that great, but I challenge you to check it out because that one thing that you’ve been looking for for years to finish that one project and they’ve got it!

Art Parts is an amazing thrift store with only creative supplies. Any time you need a craft supply, you should check here first and save yourself money and help the world be a little less trashed. They have almost everything you can think of. As well as fun art contests and art on display.

I am in love with this store! What a great concept, these should be everywhere. After discovering this place a week ago I have been back 3x. They have a great selection that is well organized and fun to peruse. I am thankful for their fabric selection, it has been very useful for teaching and learning quilting. It has also been great for donating my craft items that would have otherwise gone to goodwill and perhaps never saw a chance at a second life.

Fantastic place to find supplies for a variety of crafts.
Everything is donated, and is cheap enough to the point where hit or miss doesn't matter. They have great leather, sewing, felting, and miscellaneous things. Their only downfall is wood (not the best quality). Go here if you want to try something new for less, or need something that is not widely available.
Or just come here when you're not quite sure what you need to start a new art project!

Alright, just stop looking and get over there. This place has it all. If you are an artist, this store is like the holy grail. Want to try a brand of paint but don’t want to spend full price? They have tubes of pro level paints for like 2 bucks. The pen collection alone is a reason to swing by. All of the different scraps and shapes and sizes and colors of paper products, shelves of free magazines, paint brushes galore for pennies, buttons, canvases, inks, tools, etc. They have everything for the best prices and I couldn’t be more thankful to have found this place as a broke artist! And I love the fact that everything is reused!

Today was the first time I had ever been in, and hands down it is my most favorite place to go!! I am trying to do something different this year and make my loved ones Christmas gifts, and after spending quite a long time in there today just taking it all in, I cant imagine that I will have to go anywhere else to be able to do so. I will be going back very soon as I had to make myself stop putting things into my basket until I could come and rethink all I can actually do and make because I was not expecting to find not only what i thought was going to already be hard to find, it was like a whole new world opened up for me today because they have EVERYTHING you could want to do just about any kind of crafting project you can think of!!

Not only do they have a vast treasure trove of items and supplies for your art projects, but they will accept all sorts of interesting objects, from wine corks, to bottle caps, to tiles, to tools, to stamps, frames, yarn and so much more. Be inspired, wander around and pick out a new craft project or refresh your paints. It's a wonderful asset to the Boulder community.

What a fun and unique place. So much to find and great prices.  As soon as stuff comes in (donations) it's put out for sale. Person in charge that day was sooooo nice. Fun for kids too with hundreds of colored pencils crayons etc.  and sales benefit a good cause. Highly recommend.

I absolutely love this place and am heartbroken that I'm moving further away than I'd like to drive. Any time I make a trip to Boulder it will absolutely include a visit to this shop though. I've gotten so many great items for my sewing addiction here it's insane. I can't recommend this place enough.

Incredible! All sorts of crafty gems can be found here. Fantastic prices for secondhand finds, perfect for trying new hobbies or just a great place to find supplies for your existing hobbies.

Found this place yesterday and I’m so happy I did. The nicest ladies work here and they’re so helpful. You can find anything from tin cans to magazines to fabric to sewing machines (usually vintage) to metal marking materials to art (watercolor, chalk, drawing pencils, etc) to pill bottles to jewelry making to rotary cutters to more. I got a 60mm rotary cutter for $8 (these things are usually expensive- I got an 8 mm one for $20 new), tailors chalk pencil for $1, an embroidery machine (brother pe 770 usually around $800 new and you can barely find them for below $500 used) for $200 all in great condition and some other things I don’t remember the prices of. The prices are extremely fair and honestly a big bargain AND you’re helping the environment. I could spend a day here finding amazing things and still have so much stuff to look at.

To the people complaining they don’t have a good selection or that they’re making a huge profit margin - it’s basically a thrift store for art supplies. If you want guaranteed items then go to another supplier. People who go to thrift stores know sometimes you come home empty handed or sometimes you get an amazing steal bc it’s something you’ve been looking for at a fraction of the price. But that’s the price you pay to get it. If anything go here and then go to Joans a couple blocks away. Also again this place has to other bills to pay u like online resellers.

Also a great place for someone who wants to get into art/but can’t afford the art supplies or want to try something new without the commitment or parents who don’t want a kid to drop the new hobby they’re learning.

This place is the best!! I recommend it to all my friends as soon as they say they want to try a new craft or project but they don’t know where to get supplies. Art Parts has everything you could need for virtually any art or craft project at ridiculously cheap prices. It’s so fun to visit and peruse the supplies for every craft you can think of - paper, beads, fabric, yarn, wood, paints, metals, craft books, and more! There are boxes filled with delightful tidbits - puzzle pieces, buttons, pins, stamps, postcards, and so on. If you like making things you have to visit this store. It’s fun to peruse and incredibly inexpensive. It’s also volunteer-run and the people who work there are very helpful and sweet!

Had no idea this store existed until today and wow - I could spend hours here. I did spend hours here. Great prices, friendly staff, and a very interesting selection that I still have yet to thoroughly peruse. I think I found my primary store for all my framing and matting needs.

I have donated my arts and crafts supplies here and feel that appreciative people will find them.  I also enjoy browsing as there's always something interesting to discover.  The place is organized and attractive.

We dropped off more fun supplies than we purchased. This shop has a pleasant vibe. The folks who work there are friendly and helpful. Their helpfulness is genuine and refreshing. I very much liked the artwork that was for sale. I think of this place as a lucky find.

I adore this store & drive once a month or so from Loveland. I've watched it blossom and grow in to a stunning amount of unusual and eclectic products that are mostly priced right for Artists & Crafters.
Yes - some items are over priced.
Yes - it can be a bit overwhelming.
YES it's very "White Lady old hippie" Bouldery.
Yes they will tell you they rely on volunteers & the $ you spend helps pay the rent in Boulder which is insane -they will tell you that stuff. If hearing that makes you uncomfortable that's on you.

A great place to find all sorts of art supplies and materials to creatively reuse. An eco minded artist's dream. Also great for crafty kids; lots of inexpensive materials to choose from. Friendly staff.  I love supporting them!

What a gem! It is so fun to look around here and come up with gifts and projects to make, plus their selection of original art (much of it $5 or less) is unreal! I have framed several pieces that I bought at Art Parts.

I just returned from a delightful shopping trip to Arts Parts. Was amazed and impressed by such a lovely and supremely organized store that offers everything from yarn, to beads, collectors items , art supplies of every kind , stained glass, tools, etc etc. But the most delightful of all was the owner of the store who exudes charm and enthusiasm. It was truly a fun experience and I recommend that you drop by to browse. There is something for everyone who is interested in arts and crafts.

Absolutely loved this store, there should be stores like this in every city! If you're looking for interesting thrifty finds, this is the place. I was impressed by the extensive yarn collection and all the different antique and odd paper finds. If you do any type of art or craft work you've gotta stop by here. Especially art students, you can save a lot of money here shopping for your supplies. Staff was so friendly and prices are very reasonable. It was also fun to check out the local artwork displayed here.

My family really loves to support Art Parts because we like their mission. It's so important to reuse and reduce waste. Last year they offered a teacher and homeschooler discount (for back to school) which was great and we took advantage of it. I do feel like sometimes certain things are overpriced.. but we don't shop at Michaels or Jo-Anns because of the intense chemical smells inside of those stores due to all the toxic merchandise they sell. SO, we would rather support Art Parts! In the past we've bought paint, beads, paper, wooden materials, crafting project materials, etc.... We are repeat customers and will continue to be.

Love this place! A "thrift store" for art and craft supplies. Good people, good cause (getting it into the hands of artists and keeping it out of the landfill), great variety of fun and interesting materials. Please support these wonderful people!

This place is amazing! Fun and amazingly priced finds in every drawer and corner. Check out the large glass slides from CU Boulder environmental sciences. They're architecture projects from the turn of the century and they're beautiful.

Amazing prices, helpful staff, and inspiration everywhere.

You can donate those items you have been holding onto for years cluttering up your closet (keys, ribbon, pretty paper, loose buttons, etc), and feel good that they will find a new home.

PLUS, you can buy items for your crafts that won't put you out of business, and even help improve the costs of your art work so that more people can afford it!

PLUS PLUS they host workshops and birthday parties for kids and adults.

PLUS PLUS PLUS there is always something new and exciting to explore on the sales floor.

I can't say it enough, this is definitely a nonprofit in Boulder/Denver area that you have to check out.

So worth finding!!  If you're any kind of artist; bead, fiber, mixed media, assemblage, etc., this place is heaven.  Filled with donated treasures from other artists, their toss is definitely your treasure.
Prices are VERY reasonable and you will come away with goodies and inspiration.
Please support this wonderful shop and gallery with your donations and purchases; such a worthwhile endeavor.

There are a lot of interesting things at this store but I didn't get the feeling that there was much I would use as a painter unless I was someone who likes to glue stuff to canvas for 3D works. There was a lot of yarn but not so much for quilting. Definitely a cool place though.
