I've had some good finds here. They don't overprice things, based on my experience. I visit all the thrift stores in town and this is one of the better ones. The employees are always nice, too.

This Arc location gets massive 20+ person lines almost every Saturday afternoon. It's a great store and most stuff is on sale then but damn guys! There are other Arcs to go to LOL

Today was 50% off day, and we snagged some great deals!!!!! You have to ask permission to use the bathroom, which is gross. And the whole store smells like cat pee....But its a thrift store-

I was out on a mission to find dress slacks for my new job. After visiting several retail stores, I found nothing:(. Then I decided to stop at ARC on Academy last resort before heading home, glad I did! Found several good slacks in good condition! Very happy with my purchase! I probably would of spend more money buying one pair at a regular store but Iwalked out with 3 slacks and 2 shirts for about
$35.00. Great prices and great selection!!! Loved the experience!

Great place to get just about anything you can think of. Some of my favorite finds here have included a really nice olive green suit jacket for $6, a nice toiletry bag for $2, and a high quality tan suede leather jacket for $13. Great place to get cheap clothes, home decor, and furniture. Also a great place to donate unwanted used items. Will definitely come back here again and again!

Much better than the competition.  Prices are half of what they are at the other place.  Very pleasant and helpful staff. $0.69 ea. at the ARC.  Almost $2 at the other place.

Hands down one of the best Thrift store chains. Always new items and the prices are crazy cheap most of the time, not to mention everyday there is a 50% sale on some color tagged item and on Saturdays four different colors of tags are 50% off. They only have 5 different colors of tags so you are bound to leave with something. My Wife and I frequent the four Springs locations and occasionally travel to Denver for more. Check them out!!

Great shopping experience.  Found alot of quality exercise clothes for our daughter.  Gently used and in great condition.  Can't beat those prices!! Especially when it's 50% off already unbelievably low prices. Everything pictured, excepted for my son was $82.

Spacious thrift store with a bunch of great items ranging from basic to premium. Their furniture selection was extremely impressive. As far as pricing goes, items seem reasonably priced for condition and brand. Combined with their frequent “50% off” days, ARC is a worthwhile visit.

One of the cleanest Thrift stores out there. Definitely prefer this place to Goodwill even though it is further away. Prices seem fair and consistent, and the staff members are weird and fun people who seem to really care about your experience (sometimes too much). I bought some really high quality and modern looking lamps here for $6!! I will definitely be back.

Great pricing on items, especially the tagged items of the day. Musty odor but not terrible. Rest room was awful dirty in the stalls. I believe shoppers made the messes I saw, NOT store neglect. That is why I go ahead and give a 5 star rating. Cashier was very kind but should warn shoppers about NOT taking the buggy past the first set of doors. The doors have some kind of breaking system that prevent that from happening. Saw a very young child have her neck whipped rather sharply by that breaking action of the door and buggy wheels. All appeared to be ok in the end. I will shop again. The store shopping area was clean and very well organized.

I love the little treasures you can find, but mostly come here for the clothes. With a big family, this is how we can afford what everyone needs! They always have one color of tag half off, and Saturdays it's all colors but one at half off! They keep the store tidy and well organized. Better size organization than the other through stores on the area.

Good store. We donate here regularly since its non profit. I'll pick up paint clothes for myself but we donate pretty high quality stuff to them. Prices are good and staff is helpful. They also have a military day, Monday I think. I like to mill about and check out the vinyl.

I almost always find something awesome here, and the prices are great! I've found a fully mechanical Minolta film camera and lens here, as well as a soda stream machine, a fully adjustable office chair, and many other things for great prices. Always worth a stop if you have 15 minutes and are in the area.

Good finds here. While I was there, someone had a public freakout. It was crazy.

Nice collection and organization of books. At least children's/teen/younger chapter books were separated from the adult books and easy to browse. They usually have a large, unique selection of Halloween costumes to pick through, too.

Visited this thrift store today for not really any reason, but it was a good experience. The thrift store has everything you'd expect, clothes, house decor, etc. There was also a lot of variety, there were many different shirts and books. I saw that items with the pink tag were 50% off, so keep an eye out for those. Overall, it was a good experience. Come here if you want to do some scrolling for no supposed reason.

Great thirft store with a large selection of men's clothing in here. Most thrift stores have a scant amount ofebs clothing available and I was happily surprised by the goods for men in this store. I'll definitely be coming back here!

Store usually yields some good finds if you're willing to dig a little. Todays find reinforces that!

One of the cleaner ones we have been too. It was super busy because Half Off Saturday but they had all the registers open and everyone (customers and employees) were being civil and courteous. Most everything was sorted by colors and seemed to be really well organized for the chaos. Some of the kids stuff was a mess but that is TOTALLY expected! Would recommend and will return.

This is another ARC store that I really like. But lately I spend minimal time browsing this store because the air freshener scent is too strong. This repulsive scent is totally unnecessary in this old Circuit City building.

This arc is always filthy.
Floors are never swept.
Staff are nice.
I showed up 5 minutes before opening and figured out why there's never any good parking.  The staff park close to the store.
Which wouldn't be problematic, but the Arc is about serving people with disabilities so when the disabled parking is full, you have to park much farther away.
Deals here are better than the Arc at the Austin bluffs and Academy store where everything is marked up high for used items.

It’s a good thrift store, but be careful routing yourself! The link to the arc on north academy next to harbor freight will give you driving instructions to the arc down south next to the citadel mall. Found this out the hard way!

Great store, have a lot of things to look through, great location, employee who checked me out was polite and friendly. The 3 is for the way you as a store runs your payment system we as customers have to pay. First most the stuff you sell has all been donated and we as a country pay enough for daily as it is, second I don't feel one guy should determine how much it cost and we have to pay it, I wanted to buy a small table top fan/ac, had a small fan ad well it was 15 bucks, figured the lil ac thing would be 20 at most, no the guy comes out and says oh it has to be 30, I said I would give him 20 or I couldn't get it, the man picks the ac up off the counter and walks back to the back of the store with no word to me. That doesn't show good customer service or the care for the people you are suppose to helping in this world, not just carrying about money.

Decent selection. Nothing that I wanted there that time. Dirty environment. You jabe to ring a doorbell to get into the bathroom. It didn't smell very good in there.

Was in town visiting family and decided to go thrifting. This store seemed great, has a lot of inventory and items, and seems to have a healthy turnaround. The only downside is being followed around by security while carrying my future purchase -- a bag. They tried to make it seem inconspicuous while walking around, but later they asked me to pick up a book buried amongst a mess of items at the front (who walks up to customers asking them to hand staff particular items from piles of go-backs?). It was really suspicious and made me feel uncomfortable; I'd imagine this isn't a normal experience for folks.

Prices are way too high at this location. They started locking their bathroom door so you have to ring a bell for someone to come unlock it (which they won’t hear the first time you press the button and you will have to press it again and again until someone comes out from the back). The person at the register asked me if I was pregnant. I’m not. I found this to be rude and insensitive. If you’re going to go to this location I would recommend going on Saturday when everything is 1/2 off or on a day when they are running a sale.

Edit: as you can see below I had given a 4 star review. After this last time, I've dropped it down to 2. The night Manager named Christine is horrible at the title she was given. She is horrible at customer service, I had 2 minutes until close, was in a rush so accidentally pushed my cart in the dressing room instead of shuffling through to take more time and Christine, in a rude way told me I couldn't bring it in. I apologized and she then said I had only 2 minutes now, I said I'm aware of that and it won't take me long. She's kept making rude comments under her breath and I said why do you have to be so rude. She threw a fit and ran to the front to get say threw the intercom that she needed security to call dispatch. I went and paid for all my items and there were still customers behind me to pay. I did nothing illegal and was very nice and a loyal customer. She needs to get a demotion, she brings the whole store down.

I love this ARC location. The store is very spacious and clean. They have a wide selection of purses, shoes, jackets, and of course clothes (more selection than most ARCs in the area). The reason I gave 4 stars is because I have had very little interaction with the associates, I've only been greeted about 1/20 times, but this location still remains my favorite.

Customers were in the store complaining about how everything was marked with the color not in sale, which was very obvious. Then was checked out by a “manager.” The employees are great, don’t get me wrong. She accused us of tampering with a price tag! Are you kidding me? The experience distracted me from the whole point I was there—to use the coupon they had sent me, so her fit cost me $5, not happy. This place can do better.

Terrible service was going to donate furniture to them so it was free but they were not willing to go upstairs to pick it up. It’s free for Christ sake. Done shopping with them. All about profit. Terrible business concept

After today's experience at this ARC location, I will not be returning. I found a small used handheld pump sprayer for $1.99. When I went to check out, the employee manually entered the amount and charged me $4.99 plus tax. He initially did not tell me the total, but asked me if I wanted to round up, which I always do. I then noticed the total of $6 on the credit card screen. I asked him why it was $6 and he said that was the price for all the other ones. He then saw the price tag and said that someone must have put a different tag on it because the tag was labeled as Tools. I explained to him that it is a tool and he tried saying that it was not. I did not argue with him, but I did decline the purchase. I walked outside and saw Harbor Freight next door. I decided to look around there and I found a slightly larger and better quality sprayer for $4.99, and it was brand new. This is the last time I will be shopping at this ARC.

This store is ridiculously overpriced for second hand and smelly. Not because of the items but because of the air fresheners. A person needs a gas mask to enter it's so overpowering. Terrible experience. Sad because this used to be a nice place with good prices.

I had an extremely disappointing experience at this arc thrift store. The store was disorganized, with items scattered everywhere and no clear sections for different types of items. It was almost impossible to find anything I was looking for.

The clothing racks were cramped and overflowing, making it difficult to even browse through the clothes. The quality of the items was also very poor, with many items looking worn out and old.

The staff were unhelpful and unfriendly. When I asked for assistance in finding a specific item, I was met with indifference and was told to just look around.

Overall, I would not recommend this arc thrift store to anyone. The poor organization, low-quality items, and unhelpful staff make it a frustrating and unpleasant shopping experience. Save yourself the trouble and shop elsewhere.

The prices here are absolutely ridiculous. I came to pick up a few used storage totes and they were all priced several dollars above retail price for brand new items. Antique tools of questionable repair were being sold for more than new generic tools of the same type at the tool store next door. I asked several employees for help resolving this only to be ignored or passed off to a different employee who claimed they couldn't do anything about it. A second hand store is a place to get a good deal on used items not to be ripped off with prices higher than brand new items.

Went in to see what video games they had.  Multiple games and other items would have been 50 percent off but they put new white tags over top of the pink ones so that they wouldnt be on sale.  Ridiculous.  Games are also priced well over Ebay pricing.  Wont be coming back

Used to be a great place affordable to shop. Whoever does the pricing though should be placed in a different department. They are selling name brand (I.e. Tommy Hilfiger, Burberry, etc) used items at prices you will find on discount at a new store. They also charge insane prices ($100+) for bootleg designer items. They are currently selling a (FAKE) Gucci purse for $75. Thrifting used to be a great way to find an affordable and nice outfit, whoever runs this store is missing the mark.

Great store but the changing rooms were disgusting. Used feminine napkins, chewing gum and other trash on the floor. All have been there awhile.

Okay I'm not against any thrift store making money but WOW hold on to your money because it's sticker shock city.

For something that was donated for free and resell it for a premium price is just not worth it to most. That like going to a yard sale where the prices are 10% less then new. Lol

And I am not the only one complaining I've heard the conversation & comments from people browsing around the store looking for a bargon that just is not there anymore.

Just left and paid full price on every shirt. I thought it was Senior Discount 50% off on everything for seniors on Tuesdays. Turns out WHITE tags are full price. Didn't see any signs. I didn't know there are exclusions. Lo and behold I picked all white tag items. I don't know if there were any other colors. I didn't know to look. Very disappointed and I feel mislead. Don't plan on returning.

This location is a lot more expensive than others. Saw an item with original tags for $3. They wanted 6.99. Even half off would have been more than retail. For the .99 sweater sell anything cute was marked outerwear. Other locations in town were much better.

Overall the store is decent and 99% of the staff is respectful but I went in there today with my husband who is partially deaf and had to raise my voice for him to hear me. A staff member came up to us and asked my husband if he was ok and decided he was going to case me as though I did something wrong. He followed me to the book aisle and literally stood there watching me  My husband is white and I am black.  If this sort of thing happens again, I'm suing for discrimination. I will not tolerate this type of behavior in 2021. Y'all need to do better and treat everyone EQUALLY.

Worst value in town. No wonder their racks are always so stuffed you can't even see the merchandise; no one wants to overpay for junk. Don't bother coming unless it's a most-stuff-half-price day. The rest of the week there are miraculously almost no tags of the sale color, even upon opening in the morning. The things that do manage to be on sale are the absolute worst. I am talking torn, holes, worn through, missing parts, sewn together from scraps, cut off, broken... It's like they go through and pull the good stuff before opening. At least the store is fairly clean. Staff attitude is a luck of the draw. Some are really nice, some are just awful.
