Posting this comment so others may see it. The root beer bar is still under construction. Google maps says it's open but it is not. I'm looking forward to when they do re-open!
Thank you for posting this Jordan! Google is in the process of updating our profile for our future address and inadvertently changed the setting to open. They have been notified. We are working in the new space and hope to be open in the not too distant future. Updates will be provided on Instagram, Facebook, and our website at www.oldcrowsantiques.com.

This has been a very special outing for my 6 year old grandson and me over the past 3 years. We would choose our root beers and have root beer floats and then we would walk throughout the antiques looking at all the treasures. We went there today and both of us were so saddened to see it closed! Thank you for the memories he will always hold in his heart of the special outings there with his grandma.
Stacy, Thank you for the sweet memories! We ware temporarily closed and will be reopening in Golden in the future. We have started construction. We hope to see your traditional visits to our new store. You will find updates and information on our website at www.oldcrowsantiques.com and our Instagram and Facebook pages.

This was the pride and joy of Denver. This town will never be the same after the closing of this establishment. My favorite root beer was the corn flavored one. It reminded me of my home in Indiana. Now my little taste of home is gone for good. Sad
Lance, Thanks for your heart felt comments. We are only temporarily closed and will be reopening in a new location. We have been diligently seeking our new home and we’ll have exciting news soon. We look forward to your future visits!

I am personally not a root beer fan but my husband most definitely is! I was amazed at all the different kinds/flavors they had available! Customer service was great too! I was pleased to find multiple different options for me as well that were not root beer!!!
We’re looking forward to seeing you when we reopen. Stay tuned!

It's such a fun idea honestly. Their root beer ice cream takes the floats to the next level.
Everything is better with Root Beer....

What a cool concept! It is part of the antique store, as you walk in it's on the right hand side. A cool open seating area with two big fridges full of different root beers. When you check out, you can ask for a root beer float with either vanilla, root beer or a mix of the two ice creams. Very cool spot!
Thank you for the review! We hope to see you again soon!

When I saw the sign for a Root Beer Bar I bout lost my...stuff! I freaking love root beer and this place is AWESOME! They have root beers from all over the country and if you buy 9 you get 1 free! They also have choose-your-own root beer floats with either vanilla or root beer ice cream. There were some other menu items; hot dogs, nachos, pretzels...but I was there for the root beer (and antique shopping.) I can neither confirm nor deny that it is "the world's largest root beer bar", probably a bit of a stretch, but it's definitely the biggest in Colorado. My personal favorite root beer is Bulldog Root Beer bottled by Orca Beverage in Mukilteo, WA and this place sells it by the case. I'll definitely be back whenever I'm in the area. 5 stars!
Thanks for the review! I love the root beer too! A perfect match to our antique mall. Root Beer, antiques, and collectibles, oh my!
