Absolutely obsessed with this shop! Some friends and I were wandering downtown and stopped in to check it out and couldn't leave we found so many amazing things. I ended up talking with the owner, Mary Beth, for quite a while and she was so fun and cool I am going to go back just to hang out with her. This is a MUST stop in if you are shopping around in Steamboat.

Such a fun shop to explore! My friends and I could have spent hours there and still found new fun things to discover. The owner was so friendly and fun to talk with. I especially enjoyed looking at the vintage wedding photographs and the vintage matchbooks, lots of great finds!!

During my two night stay in Steamboat Springs and during a walk in the downtown area, I found myself in Roots & Roost. I found it to be a very inviting experience with many treasures from the past. There is something for just about everyone from young to old and you can find yourself lost in the store searching for your perfect purchase. The owner, Mary Beth, was very pleasant and informative.
