Amazing selection of antique and new comics, toys, and collectables. The entire experience was a trip. The staff was extremely nice and accomidating despite my head being in the clouds the entire time. Cant wait to come back.

They were very courteous but up front when I was selling some of my old action figures. Afterwards, I was so impressed with the entire store. I realized I would have to leave quickly, or I would spend the money I had just earned. It is definitely worth stopping in.

Been shopping at hero HQ for years.  I have a pull list and they are always great about adding and deleting when I pick up.  Plus the store has a great variety of toys and comics.

So I live in Longmont and it’s really hard to find stores like these in my town so I’ve been looking around where I could buy figures and luckily I was able to find the store that’s 40 minute drive and let me tell you if you like collecting stuff this store you will love Everything is organized and everything is literally there from Star Wars to Marvel to DC any figure you can’t find in stores you will find here. I’ve been there multiple times. I’m very grateful and I highly recommend this place 10/10

This is a must go to comic shop. They have a lot of comics that I wanted and haven’t been able to find anywhere else. They have deadpool,spiderman,spawn,invincible and a lot more. I’d check it out if you’re into comics and manga plus the guy at the desk was very helpful.

I am very happy with the location or somewhat of the location I'm not sure if you guys have that second store or a second location but I'm very happy to see that there are some comic book shops that are still within the neighborhood and they are still rocking and rolling in in our day and age and everything else though I also wanted to provide a more positive very respectful feedback thank you for helping me thank you for helping me with my items and everything else I still want to buy out the whole entire of the store haha very funny....?? What a cool spot! I stopped here to pass time with my sibling during my vacation. These folks have an impressive array of collectibles, and the staff was friendly and chill. They dug through boxes and boxes of merch to find my sibling the Captain Janeway figurine xe wanted, and I fell in love with a Mandalorian figure. I bought it special order and they were able to ship right to me in Washington. It has arrived to me safely, packed well, and is even more elaborate, customizable, and posable than I originally saw from the display case. The Hulk statue was the icing on the cake. Worth a perusal for sure!

The staff here is super helpful! My sister and I came in when she was visiting from out of town. She really wanted one of the more expensive figurines shipped to her and has a lot of anxiety, and the staff answered all of her questions patiently and professionally. I casually collect star trek and star wars figurines, and have been in a few times looking for specific characters. Every time I'm in they're very knowledgeable, quick, and helpful. I think the prices are fair for the product, and I love the selection of product in the store.

Hidden gem with lots of awesome stuff! Even if you just go to check it out, it's like a museum, but everything is for sale. I was blown away at how many collections they have.  At least check it out! You're bound to find something you love.

They have joytoy and Godzilla figures. So happy to have found a local place. The store is setup like a large action figure museum.  Wry impressed.

They actually had an Apocalypse action figure! I hadn't seen one in years couldn't even find one at Mile High Comics but they had one here! Plus they're closer and carry a large enough selection of everything to satisfy my nerd cravings. Staff has always been awesome and helpful. Keep up the good work, guys!

This place is the best.  Great staff, tons of stock.  My only issue with this shop is that I never seem to have enough money to get everything I want.  Killer shop for collectors but super friendly and low key so a great place for new readers/collectors as well.  I'd give this place 100 stars if I could.

Recently discovered this comic shop. Now, I can't stop going. I used to drive to one much farther away from me. This shop is well organized, bigger than I thought, has a great selection, and takes the time to really take care of their comics. The care they take to maintain the condition of their comics means a lot to me as a collector. I also have a large collection of hot toys, sideshow, and high end statues. I was pleased to see that they also offer some of these items. I really can't say anything bad about this shop. Even the prices are very very reasonable. Thanks for being a shop that respects its products and its collectors!!!!

Great comic book store. This place gets in all the new issues for DC and Marvel as well an extensive selection of indie and local comics. But, where this place really shines is their selection of toys and statues which is *extensive* and continually refreshed with everything from classic figures to the newest in the McFarlane line. They have plenty of golden age comics to view on the walls if you're interested in older gems as well as lots of modern variants. Their selection of back issues from bronze forward is a bit lacking, but understandable given how much of the store is dedicated to toys!

Shout out to Craig, and Jim for running an "AMAZING" comic and collectible figure store. I was in town this weekend while visiting  family and was happy to see the store thriving and looking even better than I remember it in 2015.

I wish I took photos of this place to describe what I saw, but it was just amazing! I loved the setup right as soon as you walked in. The display cases were nice and full and well lit to display all the figurines, statues and comics inside them. The place was really organized and the staff were not only very friendly, welcoming and very helpful, but they definitely knew their inventory without even having to look.

They also sell older back issues and magazines along with comic supplies and some killer looking custom shortboxes and drawer boxes too. Their figure and statue selection lined a huge portion of the store, which was awesome!

You could shop for days in this place!

Oh, and who can forget that kickass Hulk in the middle of the store and the Silver Surfer on top of the display case. Awesomeness!

Definitely recommend if you're ever in the area and can't thank my cousin and his wife enough for showing me this place too. I'll be returning for sure, and hopefully soon!

Amazingly beautiful! You can tell the shop is a labor of love and not just schilling for cash. The staff knew the place expertly. The man behind the counter was able to recommend a better product and knew it well enough to have a legit conversation with be about one of my passions. The store has plenty in it and doesn't feel overwhelming or empty.

I could've spent all day (and all of my money) here! I absolutley love this store, especially the way they showcase their figures. I picked up a Macfarlane Tetsuo figure for a great price, and my fiance got her first 2 comics ever (Lady Death). I highly recommend Hero Headquarters to anyone that enjoys comics, figures, 80s/90s pop culture, table top rpgs, star wars, the list goes on.....

Wow what a cool store!  Lots of comics including a $2 comic section, lots of action figures of all comics and movies , they had posters and gaming cards, lots of rare in package star wars stuff!  We'll definitely be back.

It is the best comic book store I've ever been to.  It has a whole lot more than just comics. They have many different scale models and characters.  They have a great service where you let them know what you're collecting and they save them for you. You then go down and pick them up every couple of weeks or a month is good. The owner and his family are the kindest people on earth. They are honest and care about their customers.

THE best place to buy action figures in Colorado if you ask me. Very friendly and accommodating. Will DEFINITELY go back!

Very friendly ownership and staff manage an incredible collection comics and vintage toys. My boys bought a 10 pack comics for $10 and each bought a Jenner Star wars figure from the eighties for about $15 each. Definitely worth a visit if you are you serious collector or a casual enthusiast.

This is not your typical comics store.  While they definitely are run by nerds who will always know more than you and fits the cliche to a tee, they also have the coolest figures I have seen! Super cool store packed to the gills with a small comics selection but a TON of toys. Worth a stop in, even if you are just window shopping.

Well stocked for the most part and a relatively large place. Unfortunately when I went in they didn't have the 2 things I was specifically looking for, but it was a couple of days before Christmas. Found plenty I would like to have however. I will probably go back when I am not Christmas shopping and I have more money.

Awesome selection of all types of collectibles. This place is a blast to walk around and look at all the different levels of figures they have. They have something for everyone and their price range. The staff has always been super friendly and helpful when shopping here.

Anyone looking for a great toy and comic book place, aka home away from home, should come here. It's one of the bigger toy shops around and a huge selection of stuff will keep you busy for a while. Fair prices on purchasing and trading which they are typically happy to do. If you are looking for vintage action figures or Magic cards or anything in-between, they'll probably have it. Definitely worth visiting and if you do, ask for Tristan, great customer service and very fair dealing.

There are toys here - toys, toys, and more toys. Many, many toys, so many. A numerically significant amount of toys! And they are all types and sizes. Big huge toys and really tiny toys. There are even the biggest toys possible, like the life-size Hulk that greets you right when you walk in. Or, I suppose, that should be a “BIGGER-than-life-sized Hulk” …because it’s the Hulk, of course. I mean, let’s get it right!

There are comics, too. A big, long wall of new and near-new comics, well-tended – that’s a good sign. There are lots of trade paperbacks from Marvel and DC, and some volumes (but less) from the smaller publishers. There’s a good section of used comics, easy to reach, and well-organized. There’s a bunch of discount comics - always appealing - and there are multi-packs for affordable prices. There are some Silver and Bronze Age comics on the wall behind the counter, with a sign that reads, “We Have More… Just Ask!”

Hero Headquarters has comics for kids, too. In fact, I think this store is one of the better ones for kids. There are no offensive or questionable posters on the walls. The store is clean and well-lit. It’s crammed full of interesting items, but it’s still spacious and roomy. It’s nicely organized. In fact, there’s not a lot an unsupervised or poorly-supervised kid could do to make a mess or cause trouble. Some comic stores are disaster waiting to happen! Not this one.

It’s kid-friendly, as the saying goes. There’s not a designated “kid area” like some stores are able to provide. Still, I think a slightly nervous or suspicious suburban mom (apologies for the cliché…) would be quite happy to bring in a young customer or two. At any rate, it seems sure that this store has lots of faithful customers.

this is the absolute cleanest most organized toy store I have ever been in and for that it gets 4 stars. My husband dealt with the owner and said he was very nice and polite, I ended up dealing with I'm guessing was his son who was not as polite and kind of gave me the run-around. We still ended up spending $150 here and I'm sure we will end up coming back in the future since the outcome turned out very well.

Exceptional selection of hard-to-find key books.  Lots of back-issues in the bins.  This place is a ton of fun to browse around in.

Sadly...most "good books" are grossly overpriced.  Mint Condition prices on F+ or VF comics.

I can understand the exceptionally high prices, especially if there is a rare item you want.  And, remember, they have to pay for a brick and mortar building, which is expensive.

But I cannot accept being treated with disrespect.  The owner was rude, dismissive, and lacked courtesy.  I am sure he sees hundreds of folks per week, so this review will have no impact.  Still, you remember how people make you feel more than you remember the price.

I will likely donate my beloved items to a thrift store where someone will get joy in finding some gems for their collection or to give to someone who will appreciate the items.

Very disappointing. You say your customers are more than $, but doesn’t seem that way when you are selling products with missing parts.. not mentioning it or offering the item at a discounted price.. smh ...what a scam.
