Edit: Went today, March 2025 and their bead selection is on point. Still messy, but getting better. Drove from Guilford to New Britain to check out this ‘up and coming flea market’. Arrived, first and foremost, there was broken glass in their parking lot and around their front door. I struggled to get to the front door without having to walk out of the way from the broken glass and items outside of the building. Proceeded through the door to find that the first floor was full of confused people standing around talking. This was a one way in and the same way out scenario. We found a dead end and needed to turn around and walk through the crowd of confused people again. Realized that all the “home goods” items were upstairs. Proceeded to find a maze of rooms to explore. Nothing stood out – people had rummaged through the items, leaving a mess. Most of the items were something you’d find at Grandma and Grandpa’s or a tag sale, but a bit higher in price. Moreover: This place has zero organization. If you fancy an “indoor overpriced tag sale”, this is the place you should visit.

I read about Heck's on social media- and have gone four times! The best and most interesting thrift store I have really ever seen! I always get tons of treasures for dirt cheap. I am going today before my 11:30 am shift starts. Yea! The atmosphere is relaxed chic shabby just like me! Don't change a thing but maybe add Thurs hours if possible.

What a place! You can find treasures ALL over - give yourself plenty of time to explore, because just when you think you’ve seen everything, there’s another room you haven’t checked out. Love the sustainability mission, and the people are so so lovely.
