I am quite pleased with the process and results of selling a stamp collection through Kelleher Auctions. Brian Scanlon did an excellent job of walking me through the whole process - from setting realistic expectations, to shipment and estimation and then to auction placement, which was surprisingly quick. I am overall very satisfied with the choice of Kelleher Auctions.

I worked with Kelleher to consign and successfully sell my father's stamp collection after his passing. They were very professional every step of the way. Through lucky timing their co-chairman David Coogle was in my area when I reached out and their consignor rep Brian Scanlon was able to arrange for David to come inspect the collection in person. I was very impressed with both his deep knowledge and his genuine enthusiasm for the stamps. I believe Kelleher's reach and position as a major auction house got us the most possible value for the collection.

Kelleher Auctions helped me with the sale of the stamp and currency collection I inherited from my uncle. I was continually impressed with their professionalism, knowledge and courtesy. Their Consignment Director, Brian, helped me through the process every step of the way. I was only in Boston for a few days, from out of state, to help settle my uncle’s affairs. Brian came from Connecticut to Boston to meet me in person and review the collection right away. He gave me an auction estimate and transported the large collection back down to Kelleher. He was able to explain to me what was valuable in the collection, and also very importantly, what was not. The consignment and auction process were all explained clearly. The contract was straightforward and clear as well. Once the collection was at the Kelleher warehouse, their team sorted, cataloged, photographed, and appraised everything. I cannot even imagine the amount of work it took their team to take a whole van full of boxes and turn them into individual lots with beautiful photos and detailed marketing descriptions. Ahead of the auctions, Kelleher provided me with the low and high auction estimates for each lot, and the minimum starting bid. I enjoyed watching the auctions online and I was pleasantly surprised at the results: the final sales totals far exceeded the original auction estimate I received. I am so grateful to have found Kelleher Auctions. Thanks to the whole Kelleher team, my uncle’s cherished stamp and currency collection has been passed into the hands of new expert collectors who can appreciate and conserve them for the future.

When it came time to sell my father's beloved stamp collection I could not have found a better place than Daniel F Kelleher Auctions. From beginning to end the staffs attention to detail and professionalism was of the highest quality. From my initial email inquiring about their services Brian immediately responded and his promptness and professionalism continued throughout the entire process. Their care with our collection and respect given that we were selling because of my father's passing made parting with my father's favorite possession so much easier. Kelleher Auctions successfully sold my inherited stamp collection. Brian Scanlon personally came to my home to view and collect the stamp collection. I have my own opinions and questions about the stamp market and valuation, however the process at Kelleher was straightforward and Brian was very helpful.

I thought I had some rare stuff but after the informative gentleman , Bryan I think , took the time to communicate the current landscape of stamps I realized I have nothing .
