I really enjoy this place, the workers are very professional and kind and very friendly, when i go in they always greet me and ask how I can help. They let me test stuff out and make sure it works before buying. I'm big into dragon ball z and the myster bags are awesome. I highly recommend to any video game or collector to stop by and see for yourself.

First time in the store today and was blown away how big the store was and how much inventory they packed in their store!  I was looking for older Disney Infinity game pieces and characters and they had a huge selection still.  I even bought the game for the Xbox One!  No more fussing with my old PS3!  Will definitely go back when I have more time to look around.  Manager on duty was friendly, knowledgeable and very helpful n

Went in with a recently purchased Xbox one that was having issues staying on and freezing. Dan the man didn’t bat an eye and traded it out delivering excellent customer service. Great small store with a lot of things inside, video games, dvds and records. The money you get for trading in things to them is really low, way less than game stop. The prices for games are good and they do have many deals and sales. They have a huge DVD sale going on! Tons of games for each system, found a lot of stuff I wanted. Definitely worth checking out.

Wonderful staff, extremely knowledgeable of the different game systems, parts, wires, and how to fix up older games and consoles. I brought in a large quantity of old consoles, games, and accessories I no longer wanted. Called ahead to confirm the large volume would be okay. They were able to explain clearly why some things could not be taken--and what parts belonged to what systems that I no longer remembered! I'm extremely happy with the trade, and will definitely be back in the future to make purchases or recommend to others to bring devices here for trades as well.

Dan helped me find what I needed to update my A/V hook ups for my N64, helped me grab a hard to find PS1 game, and the prices were more reasonable than eBay or hunting them down on social media or other sales apps! Their selection is varied and just have to ask if you down see what you want, their other stores are networked so they most likely have it if the store you're at doesn't!

Always love this place. Helpful and friendly staff, big selection and lots of deals. Also my go-to for Pokemon cards.

What a fantastic game store! Dan & Michael were extremely kind and helpful when I needed to check out a game behind the case. I’m excited to return to this store in the future as the always-changing inventory rocks too! The store also has gachapon machines which are a great treat for fans of Japanese media (Pokémon, My Hero Academia, Super Mario, and Dragonball Z).

Dan was super helpful! Went in for a gaming headset and he helped me find the best option for my setup. Super friendly. Will definitely go back for future needs!

Whenever I go to this store, the staff are very welcoming and knowledgeable. They are patient with my many questions and willing to help locate a game at another location if they don’t have it in their store. The most recent time Dan and Michael were able to help me with a few cards, dice and game questions. I appreciate that I don’t feel judged for my interests with them.

Clean, well-organized store with at least a little bit of everything, more of some! Dan and Michael were great help answering any questions we had and much knowledge about the different video games and consoles!

What a cool store! I was able to grab a ps3 controller, a copy of ffx/x-2 remaster and a discounted copy of breath of the wild for a reasonable price! Everyone was courteous and willing to banter. 5/5 would recommend.

Dan & Tess were awesome. Made my partner and I’s late night visit better! Scored some cool items and stayed to browse longer to chat with the two. They have some good finds here, especially comics. Got a bunch of Buffy comics at a great price and keep coming back to finish my collection and snag some randoms just because it’s cheap, why not?!

Alexis is the BEST! Very knowledgeable, efficient, and fair! By far the best game/cards store I’ve been into in a while. Got a great deal on my duplicates and picked up some new stuff! Will be back again!

Had a very positive experience at this store. Prices are  reasonable, lots of different types of media available (movies, music, games, and electronics), as well as merchandise (toys, anime merch, and trading cards). The cashier even polished my discs for me at checkout, which seems like a standard courtesy here. I will most definitely be back, and am happy to invest in having a store like this in my neighborhood.

Awesome place with tons of new and vintage games, movies, and collectibles. The staff are really what tie the place together, being both fun and knowledgeable. Great place to go if your a collector, occult movie fan or video game enthusiast.

i came in when they first opened and i couldn't believe it, not only stocked on games and systems i been looking for but also good amount of blursys and cds? i been going there regularly and I gotta say definitely worth a trip if you looking for a rare ps1 game or in need of a new controller recommend highly!

These guys are great. I came in for a PS3 controller replacement. I was met with a very well-stocked shop and polite, friendly customer service. I will absolutely make my way back here down the road for more gaming needs I might have.

Nice place for older electronics, games, movies, and collectables. I haven't sold or traded anything in to Game X Change yet, so my review is only based on my shopping experience there. From the second I walk in, the staff is friendly and greets me, and asks if they can help. Usually, I'm just there to browse Sega Genesis and Atari 2600 games. Their selection can be lacking at times for Genesis though. The vast majority here are the sports games that you would find anywhere, but I know they are at the mercy of what the local trade-ins bring in. The store is otherwise a pretty well-rounded selection of games, accessories, and pop-culture merch. I've also found some great deals. I've gotten some games for less than the going rate in the retro market, which I always appreciate. I'm glad to have this store in Enfield, and I'll keep coming back.

The store itself was decent. It was much tidier than other Game X’s I have been to. The issue with my recent visit was the potent smell of body odor wafting off of one of the male employees. At first, I assumed it must be a customer; however, it was soon apparent that the guy behind the counter was the offender. The smell hit me as soon as I walked into the store. I went with a friend, and the first thing he said when we exited was how offensive the body odor was. You could smell it throughout the entire store. I hope the other employees share with their coworkers that showing up to work smelling as if you haven’t washed in days is not professional. I understand that not everyone has access to amenities at home, and I hope the business owner can help this young man wash his clothing and bath if he is having difficulty doing so. He said he was 20 years old, so I am hoping he like many teenagers, just hasn’t realized how stinky a young man can get.

Found this place 2 years ago when I relocated to Enfield. This was my go-to place for games, Funko pops and anything anime or marvel. I would shop weekly. The music was always appealing. Dan had a great playlist. It was definitely nicer and cleaner than the Wallingford location. I used to love this place. Dan and Renna are amazing.

But apparently this company doesn't value their employees. Ever since the assistant manager from Wallingford has been here it's been a nightmare. I had terrible experiences with Wallingford but apparently this store is turning into the same atmosphere as Wallingford.

I do not plan to shop here anymore. A once amazing gaming store with an amazing store manager is now just a mediocre store with overpriced games and items.

I shopped here because I liked the environment and customer service. You have messy workers who tell company business. I'm very disappointed.

Terrible service he couldn’t tell a AirPod that is a GEN two to gen one trying to rob me for my money, but whatever do not sell anything to these people. They will rob me with cash. Why waste your time selling your stuff to these people they’ll keep robbing you with fake trade-ins and I wasn’t happy at all

Brought 3 mics from this place not a single one worked my mother brought a iPad from here and it wasn’t even reset the only things I brought from here that worked was a Wii and half the games I brought didn’t work and to top it all off they have the nerve to only say store credit when you bring these things back

So, this store was a good place to visit whenever I was getting groceries at the nearby Stop & Shop, where I occasionally bought a video game or poster, and more often recently, Magic: The Gathering cards.

...At least until a couple months ago, when suddenly the manager came in and asked me to leave, saying I was no longer welcome there, claiming multiple reports of me being rude and/or creepy to other people in the store.

This came completely out of left field to me. Sure, I had frequently talked with others in the store, but I thought those were always friendly conversations, and I'd sometimes even help them with things. And not once, ever, did I get warned that I was doing anything inappropriate or unwanted at any point.

So, now suddenly I have a lifetime ban from the store without any prior warning whatsoever, and no chance to possibly amend my behavior if I accidentally was being rude or creepy somehow? This is unacceptable. And this leaves me feeling awful, especially whenever I'm in the general area, like if I'm just doing errands at the nearby Stop & Shop.

I even tried to talk again with the manager again today, but she was just so stern and intimidating, and threatened to call the police on me, without giving me any real chance to defend myself and explain my case. Unfortunately, because of this atrocity, and the fact that I can no longer shop there for anything ever again, I must give this store a bad review score.

This place is a NO GOOOO! They tax super hard and are super unfriendly. Brought a ton of stuff in and told me 90% was junk. They have no regard for respect, and they are just plain rude. Nice looking shop tho :/
