Went here for my first time going to a magic night and the shop was awesome. I’m not good in a crowd but they were all friendly made me feel comfortable. Card prices were really good and also the selection was amazing.

Hands down the best store around for all types of collectors. From Funko, anime figures, DnD/Warhammer minis, comics and all types of statues, collectible card games, and oh so much more, they are setting the standard for all of CT. Prices are always more than fair. Stock is always available. And the best part is the crew. I’ve never once had a bad experience here. That’s saying a lot considering I’ve been shopping here since they were located in Springfield. Be sure to include them in your list of must visit collectible store. And peep all their tournaments and events they hold for various tcg’s on their social pages!

Place is unbelievable if ur a collector or pops Pokémon comics and other collectibles this is deff the spot to go highly recommend

Huge selection of single issues and collected editions (paperbacks, hardcovers, and omnibus books), plus tons of statues, figures, games, and trading card games and supplies. I go every year on Free Comic Book Day and then whenever I can otherwise! :)

I have only seen the building from the outside and great reviews towards accepting new players of Magic the Gathering! I started playing Commander 3 months ago and consider myself a new player of the game. Unfortunately, I made a massive mistake of bringing both my cards and business to Battle Standard which is a local pub found near by. I hope that the store manager at Most Excellent is fair and welcoming of my business and my family name! I wish to play primarily MTG, and hope everyone gets along well as I continue to learn this game with mono colored white/black decks. I do have a few questions that I will likely get answered in person so I plan to update my review upon my first visit! :) Updated: September 20th Went into the store and was immediately impressed with the selections and table room to play Magic the Gathering - Commander. The store manager gave me a warm welcome with a firm and trusting handshake 🤝. My main reason from switching stores was due to the fact that my previous place sold alcohol and I don’t drink nor really associate with the people around it actively consuming it; I really want to pull cards and play! I will gladly bring my business and play MTG at Most Excellent!
