I love this store high end finds on a budget
A warehouse full of modern and antique items. The variety is surprising and usually the inventory is updated every week. Is also a large variety of building materials and household wares for sale

Great place to shop anything and everything you can think of they have it if you can't find it in any other store try this place!

If you're OK with used office furniture or even used home furniture, it's a great place to go. Everything I looked at was in very good to excellent condition and you'll save tons of money. The staff was very helpful and they have everything you may be looking for. If money is tight and you are moving into your first apartment, definitely swing by and take a look at what they have to offer. You'll be surprised.

Recently been going here and I love it! Sometimes if you are lucky, you will find really nice pieces of furniture for a great price!

We baught a beautiful kitchen table and chairs for $99. It it in great shape and the price was great. The icing on the cake is the guys who work there were so helpful loading my truck for me. I didn't even have to ask.

It was pretty decent for people looking to buy dressers/beds. Ive purchased from here before. It wasn't really crazy stocked which is probably because people got their tax money. I guess if you are looking for specific home touch-ups/pieces this would def. Be an affordable stop to make.

My only complaint is that the prices seemed to have risen sharply in the last couple of months on certain items like furniture.

What a group of wonderful caring people. Donated my sons youth bedroom furniture and they were so grateful. Will always think if them first when donating major household items. Walked in their warehouse store could not believe the selection! Amazing

This place is awesome. So many affordable items from furniture to appliances to material like wood and tile. They're also pretty big so you should be able to find something you'd like. I will say that they could be a little more organized, but it is basically a warehouse so I'm pretty sure they're doing the best with what's been given to them.

Great place to go if you're looking for second-hand furniture or kitchen appliances, windows, knick-knacks. The inventory constantly changes and if you like to re-finish furniture this is a gold mine. Bonus the money goes to a great cause!

They have a really good variety of furniture and prices are very reasonable. When you go there there are many items that are 50% off. Places very clean and the staff is very helpful.

Always a good bargain. Many times you can find things for free and immediate haul away. You can always find something you didn't know you needed, lol. Well worth a trip from Meriden

This place is incredible! Lots of not great stuff, but also tons of real gems. Super inexpensive. Things turn over fast, so it's best to visit frequently. We've gotten beautiful, rustic cabinets, 80sqft of slate tile, a spectacular glass top sawhorse table, and many other gems.

And best of all, their profits go to help build houses for the poor. Double win.

Restore is the fundraising division of habitat for humanity. Great organization that takes donations and resells them to support their mission of affordable housing for low income working families. You may donate new of in good condition used appliances, building material, furniture, windows, doors, lighting, hardware, tools etc.  They do not accept clothing.  Items are resold for cheap or even free. Friendly volunteers will help you load or unload  your car or truck.

Love this place, always can find something unique here and they put furnitures in really good conditions  outside sometimes for free.

Aida service was outstanding!! She was wonderful to my crazy kids and my scattebrain wife and I. We drove her nuts with a million questions about so many items but she smiled the whole the time. We ended up buying 2 sofas, a recliner, bike, dishes, coffee pot, etc. You guys are great! We're coming back tomorrow!!!!

A great place to find new and used building materials, furniture, & wall art at a good price. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable of materials that are in stock. Just ask if you don't see what u need staff will help you find it. Building is handicap .accessable

I have discovered some amazing finds here. Some that just need a little love and others you love because it's in perfect shape and at a fraction of what it originally sold for. The staff is always super friendly and the proceeds go to a great cause!

Its a wondwrful place but the delivery guy needs to be fired ..he over charges plus its just him alone he has no assistance...so because he has no!!! Assistant i have to pay an arm and a leg..how does he expect to deliver stuff like sofa and a table..i tell u ..u have to help him on top of him charging u ..please! My table was $50 but he wanted $70 to deliver it..but guess what his truck broke down never called me to tell me i called him after waiting 5hrs...hes a joke no bueno 4 business...bring your own truck same rime and money...not reliable

Great place to get All kinds of items for home, apartment & etc. They carry furniture, beds, desks, dressers, windows, lamps, lampshades, plumbing, carpet, appliances, tools, pictures, books & etc. You have to go there & see what they have. Items change every week & items are discounted all the time. Sometimes they offer free items too. Please give me a "Like or Thumbs Up" on my reviews. I Greatly Appreciate It !!😀........IMPORTANT UPDATE 9/8/2020.....Unfortunately this wonderful store, Habitat for humanity has closed here in Stratford, CT. on Honeypot Rd. Amazing, 50% used furniture sale to clear the floor during Corna19. Virus.  Most items needed some cleaning, reapholstering, or repair

You can really find some great stuff for cheap if you know what to look for...they literally have anything and everything. From furniture to appliances, cabinets for the kitchen, old school desks, electronics, dishware...like a massive estate sale. The downside you have to transport your items so if it's large you will need a pretty large vehicle and some muscle.

It is a great store ,they recycled everything and you only find good things and it rotates the stock at decent prices

this place is great! You can find some real diamonds in the rough. Sometimes I wonder how they figure out their pricing because good quality items will either be super cheap or super expensive and low quality items will be moderate the price or expensive... you just have to be ready to hunt and be okay with going back day after day to find what you're looking for because it might not be there today but it might be there tomorrow or the day after.

We're delighted you found our selection so vast and affordable. It's true we have a wide variety of items, including windows, doors, furniture, and home décor. We understand your comment about the signage. We are planning a sign pylon at the corner of the property. Hopefully it will be in place by year's end.

First time here. This was not what I was expecting. They have alot of stuff here. Think "goodwill" meets lowes. Lots of windows,  doors , sink, beds, sofa, desk and alot of other home decorating iteams. Large store with good prices. It can be hard to find. The sign does not pop when looking for the store. The parking lot is large and easy to find spot. Will be returning for my next remodeling project.

Good place for  furniture. Some good finds... Visit often to find that unique piece... Be prepared to spend your coins when you see a piece you like.... Once you see it buy you won't see it again after that.... Also sell door, stoves, washing machine, sinks gates etc

This is my first time visiting this store and it had good things and prices ! I would recommend this to all my friends and my family members and I will be going back to pick up some things !

Hi Pedro, the Restore exists to raise funds to build more homes for low income families to buy. That is what Habitat for Humanity does. And yes most of what we have available in the ReStore is donated - BUT - there are a lot of costs involved in making those items available to our shoppers. Rent, heat, insurance, electricity, trucks, truck fuel, truck maintenance, refuse disposal, credit card fees, snow plowing, and more. As far as prices go, we can only sell something for as much as someone is willing to pay and it must be working because the the store would be packed to the ceiling if the furniture was not selling. Our selection of furniture changes every day, your next great deal is coming soon.

I go in there looking for a lot of house items some of the product is overpriced everything that's in that store was donated why charge so much??????? Is there really a reason for overcharging on used furniture?

Happened to go there on a day when all furniture was half off. Good deals on the furniture I got. Good thrifting; books, art, lighting... Also, hardware, fixtures and even used appliances.

The struggle was real getting all the stuff in my car without assistance. Took off a couple of stars for that.

The place is raising the prices at a steady pace..It use to be OK, but the items has been sold at a price that you better off buy it at the home depot instead for almost The same money.

It was nice just think some of the things there have seen better days, and the store could be a little more organized. But I did find what I wanted and the volinteers working were very helpful and friendly. Would I go back? The answer woild be yes,

I'm moving to another  state most of my stuff was junk ..George  and his partner  looked at my refrigerator  and stove and said they can take it last min they picked up stove but because  refrigerator  didn't  have a handle  the manager  a lady said no ..I was stuck I paid 145 dollars for it to be removed  if I would  had known sooner it could  have been put out for the bulk pickup fyi a handle  is like 5 dollars but once they removed  the frig it was next to it...its all about the money for them ..I wouldn't  recommend....

Just moved to Connecticut and we had to  ReStores where we lived before. Given that this is a mid- to low-quality *used furniture store and HomeGoods is somehow even cheaper… absolutely insane to think this is the same company. I’m appalled that this is associated with the word humanity. Crazy high prices for used furniture!

I'm sorry that you did not find anything in your price range on your last visit. We always have 50% OFF sofas that fall below $200 - and new items coming in every day. The Habitat for Humanity Restore exists to raise money so that our construction division can build more homes. And that means maximizing the potential of all donations.

Big place with lots of furniture but very expensive for poor people. I visited the place searching for savings since I lost my job but the sofas go from 200 dollars to 900 dollars. For someone who lost their job and is in need of furniture the prices in Restore are too expensive. The items they sell are good quality but if its given to them they should not sell it so expensive.

Sorry that you felt our prices were high on some items. We are always trying to maximize our donor's intent of donation to Habitat for Humanity and our mission. Most furniture items are reduced by 20% every 30 days, this insures that items that could be priced too high initially eventually reach the price someone is willing to pay. Regarding the microwave, I wish you had brought it to our attention so we could have dealt with it immediately rather than leave it for the next customer.

I was in there the other day.  First thing I looked at was loaf pans. They wanted 4 bucks. Brand new at walmart, 3.98. Next looked at some lamps.  They was a sign, 50%.  Every one I picked up said exception.  The one lamp I did like was a novelty lamp, marked 30 bucks.  Nope.  Walked through the furniture. 400 for used dressers. Nope.  But the best was when hubby said they had a few nice microwaves.  Ours is on the fritz.  There was one looked brand new.  Almost bought it until I saw the roach skins in the vent.  Really?   I haven't shopped there in a while, and probably won't be back, ever.

It's a hit or miss experience when you find the right item. I've donated throughout the years valuable household items. Some items I donated were still new. The pricing lately is like buying it at the big box stores. I do understand they need to make some money for their expenses. But gee, if I'm going to pay so much for a used item, then I rather buy new.

Wide variety of items.. IMHO.. downside the pricing is a bit OFF considering all of the inventory is donated. If pricing was better the items would sell and HfH would fare much better.

i was shocked at the prices .  the national organization should look into the pricing practices at this store.  I won't go back.  I was astounded what they wanted for cheap tile.  The price was higher than home depot or lowes.   Plain and simple-- this place is a scam.
UPDATE-  After 5 years  I went to the store again AND STILL NOTHIGN HAS CHANGED. These folks are out of touch.   The prices are just simply not in line with the value of used items. It's just incredible.

The artwork comes and goes, we recently had to purge because our display wall needed repairs. The art will be coming back.
We keep the heat low because our large doors are opening all day long and we are trying to be good stewards of the money we are raising for our efforts to reduce substandard housing in Fairfield County.

Hi Noelle, I am the ReStore Manager and I reviewed your email conversation with our Donation Coordinator. I'm sorry that it was just bad timing for the items you wanted to donate. It is true what you were told, that when we become overstocked with a particular item we may temporarily stop accepting them. This is the case with beds at the moment - we have so many we are running a constant 50% off sale. Unfortunately we do not always have time to update our website with these temporary changes, especially now that we are dealing with a major shortage of volunteers due to the current health crisis. In regards to the email exchange I would substitute the word 'curt' with 'brief.' On any given day our Donation Coordinator can have upwards of a hundred email interactions in addition to beginning their day with 30 to 60 phone messages. They have to save time were they can. Currently we are completing 60 - 75 pickups in a 5 day work week with a 3 week lead time on pickups - our staff may be tired, but they are not lazy.

Curt and abrasive over email. Rude. Lied about what they will accept/wont accept as furniture items. Tried to tell me they dont take bed or bed items. I was attempting to donate a headboard and futon. With all the reviews and pictures mentioning beds, clearly they are wrong. They were probably just being lazy and not wanting to do a pick up, which I was asking to arrange. I worked as a volunteer for habitat back in college. Just trying to donate. And FYI, I had done my research on the site before contacting anyone.

Oddly your name does not come up on our pickup schedule. We are sorry you had this bad experience, we would really appreciate a call or better yet an email with more specifics about the day, and address of the pickup. Pick up was rude, shattered dresser mirror in our home didn't even acknowledge the damage or offer to clean it up. Abrasive on phone. If there was another place that would have benefited veterans for furniture I would have dealt with them. They were unpleasant from beginning, I should have known better.

The ReStore staff works hard to provide a wide range of goods that cover as many shoppers budgets as possible. Keep stopping by that great deal for you might be coming in on one of our trucks any day. Many folks like yourself shop at the ReStore to find great deals. It was good before. Now most items cost less if you buy from home depot or other retail stores. If you don't the price outside, stay away. Because it is old and dirty, it doesn't mean they asking cheap price, but more than new one. Don't believe? Go and check..Carpet was priced $400 ! Go to Ocean Job Lot and buy brand new Turkish carpet for $200. You do the math. Only furniture is okay as price in this store, lately..

Prices are almost same as store bought..And the cashier who give the price out don't even have any sense what kind of price to give out on an items (making guesses). One day $2 and another day $5 for the same item.
And also who ever in charge have to understand that you locate in Bpt area not Westport or Greenwich so your price have to accommodate the area.
