I love game exchange it has a variety of retro games, new games, DVDs and many other pop culture things to choose from. I would highly recommend coming here if you are looking for a game you used to play back in the day or a movie you can't find at target or Walmart.

Good selection of retro games. I like stopping in to see what new items they took in on trade.

Marvelous place. I got three games and an action figure for about $40. A much better deal than GameStop ever gave me. They also have just about anything anyone could want: records, DVDs, games for every system on the planet, very friendly staff, and the kicker is they give you a FREE warranty, something GameStop charges you money for.

I bought a Wii U console here a few weeks ago and it works great and is in excellent condition for much less than I would have paid online. Everybody was very friendly and helpful. Couldn’t be happier!

I really prefer this location out of most in my state, probably because of the Manager Dave and Tom. They are extremely knowledgeable of video games and the consoles. When I bring my 6-year-old daughter and three year old son, they are always treated as if they were a taller adult customer. If they change the management at this location and the staff anymore; I'll probably go elsewhere. I also feel I have a really big say when it comes to running a retail environment as I own two LLCs myself and some of you know I am "Rocco the Retro Repairman". I know retro very well

Idk the name of the dude that works here but he's a legend.  He buffed my super scratched up copy of Final Fantasy 7 and it worked like it was brand new . And it was free! Also they got a good selection of games for almost every console on the low I been going to this game x change since 2013 and I love it

Love this place! More bang for ur buck and they are reasonable on used game trade ins. They  also have cool candies and drinks and some toys. All second hand necessities for ps&Xbox and every other gaming system, at a cheaper price, and brand new if u don't like to take your chances with refurbished electronics. Staff was super nice and helpful. I ONLY go here for my gaming needs 👌😎

I love this store that staff was so helpful. And the guy Evan that works there rocks. My son left a 100 dollar bill on the counter😕 and the guy Evan brought it over to us. Better than gamestop prices and customer service.

They never hastle me for prices they are great at returns and can help with any suggestions you may have. The current manager Evan is the Bomb always helpful and has a bunch of knowledge of all the systems and games their.

Honestly my favorite place for gaming, I've even brought family from Canada and NYC here and they were in wonderland. They have so many retro options like Sega Genesis, a huge collection for N64, and ofcourse all GameBoys. I also would be remiss to not talk about the massive movie collection since it takes up half the store, they have the most classic movies and TV show collections to very obscure movies I was sure people didn't even see.

Awesome place to get new and old games, systems and accessories. They sell phones as well. Staff is very polite and helpful. Usually have games available for play and good prices on trade ins. Great place in Waterbury to find old retro games.

Everyone here is great. They always know how to help and what games to suggest anyone. They care about their customers. Emily and Janaye are a great combo in the store. Mark and Ashley are hilarious together. Please keep these people with Great attitudes.

I recently got rid of an old system and some old video games here. It was a fantastic experience. I think they offer fair prices and excellent customer service.  Super friendly and knowledgeable staff. I did not shop at the store, only sold my old stuff, but the selection Is huge and it seems like they would have anything I ever wanted. I will definitely be back and would recommend checking them out to anyone interested in gaming.

Always something to find at this store to add to a gamers collection. Most games priced within reason (although I think corporate has their head up their *cough cough* upon seeing some retro games prices. Store is usually always neat in appearance and all staff are friendly and helpful ESPECIALLY the manager Ashley. She's highly knowledgeable about her systems and games and my friends and people I've referred have never had an unpleasant experience dealing w/ her (must be "that time of the month for those other reviewers :P)
I wouldn't hesitate to deal w/ this particular Gamexchange or their staff at any point!!

You will always find something cool here. Always. A neato old system, an ancient game you'd forgotten, a good price on a recent release, you'll never be disappointed.

The staff is always friendly and actually know what they're talking about. They also check used games to make sure they work before you buy - when was the last time GameStop did that?

Was in the area visiting family and decided to pop in. I ended up with a neat ol' GameCube. It's awesome to have a piece of gaming history. Super friendly (and patient) staff helped me out.

My new best friend! I'm introducing my kids to video games and this store had all I needed for them to enjoy my old Xbox system. They are reasonably priced and knowledgeable about all the different gaming systems.

Clean, nice helpful staff, and organized.  The store itself could use a facelift.  A little dark and dingy.  However, lots of games and the staff is always welcoming and professional.

This place is awesome if ur looking for movies video games game system this place has them there movie collection is huge and the prices r cheap on movies they have anything u might want they sell used video games cheap also there prices r way better then game stop so next time ur looking for a movie or game give this place a visit

They have a variety of cards, games, movies, toys. Unfortunately my son didn’t find something worth collecting, that he would like to buy.

I went there looking for Atari 2600 games and could not find any. The workers double checked and and asked there manager and  they told me that they got rid of all of them.  Workers were very nice.

The games are reasonably priced, some I consider great deals. I only have a problem with the pricing on other peripherals like controllers, I visited the day of this review and saw a broken Playstation 1 controller for $20. The staff is friendly, but whoever is in charge of pricing things needs to make adjustments.

Was there for a controller found a nice FireTV controller  just to find out from Amazon support that it will no longer work and was discontinued I explained this to the person there so they don't go selling it to someone else but he didn't seem to care I wanted a refund instead they couldn't give me my money back but in store credit I just wanted my money back to go somewhere else and buy the item I wanted

The staff was obnoxious, loud and unprofessional. I wanted to stop looking for a free DVD because I couldn't stand them yelling at each other. But I did find what I wanted for a good price.

The Store its self has great items, good prices, and all over great customer service. But The Women named Ashely who works there is very rude she is not good with customer's and Multipule times i call ask a question she will answer then hang up while your speaking. Very rude and the store would be better without her

Unacceptable idk who they are hiring in this place but selling broken items is kinda crazy everytime i come to this game xchange or orange i have to go back for something i just wanted a ps2 now im stuck w a broken ps2 “with no cash refund” i got the credit for it and got to keep it but at the same time i just wanted a ps2 not to drive 40 minutes to exchange fyi the Waterbury store had 3 ps2’s all 3 the disc drives were bad lmao i could test stuff better closing my eye's don’t shop at stores like this they don’t care about the gamer they just wanna sell stuff been a long time customer not going back for a while retro games plus in newington is a way better store

Had such a terrible staff. They told me they don’t buy preowned Figurines but, I brought some in 2 days ago. The manager was totally unprofessional and rude. I doubt they’ll care but, they lost a customer. ❌

When to sell some Pokemon games but they try to scam me. They offered me $40 dollars for a soul silver when they have one for $139.99 on display same with playstation pro they offered me $90 but they going to sell it for $299.99. these people are scammers.

No longer a warm welcome. No longer any help to find games.  All the employee were doing was talking about how the company don't care about them and how a person call John fire a manager for having a head tumor. Completely disappointed of the treatment

Usually the staff is very nice here but today they were disgustingly rude. My boyfriend was trying to sell his PS4 which works perfectly fine but when he brought it in earlier they claim that it wasn’t ejecting properly. I went in with him to see what was the problem because it does work & never gave us an issue. The guy put a game in & it worked fine & ejected fine. But he said he’s not accepting it because the manager. Then the guy threw the game & was being rude. And of course with that rude customer service an argument started and I told them they need better customer service  & said they don’t care & they were going to call the cops on us. Highly unnecessary. Terrible experience. They need to learn how to speak to people & treat people.
