If you are an avid collector of action figures, Funko Pops, or super hero and pop culture collectibles, this is a fantastic place to visit! There are a lot of rare finds around the store, and the prices are very comparable to what you would find online or at conventions. It's definitely worth making a trip to Waterford!

The Toy Vault had an awesome selection of stuff; they had plenty of retro and modern collectables and games, spanning both western and Japanese products. They also had pretty darn good prices on some more hard to find items! Will definitely be keeping them in mind for future purchases.

The Toy Vault is an amazing place to find the most amazing toys. Very reasonable prices. They have action figures statues,bosrd games and video gamea. Be prepared to stay a while and find an amazing gift.

I can walk into the toy vault with a pay check and get that same nostalgic feeling I used to get walking into child world as a kid. Just not as many things but still an awesome place and worth the drive

Let me put it this way - I live half way across the state and it takes me about and hour & 15 mins to get there, but its totally worth the drive. I try to makevthat trek as much as humanly possible. I absolutely love this place. They have all different types of toys and games and statues and their giant wall of Funko pops is just jaw dropping. You can find all different types of toys here from obscure barely circulated stuff to mainstream pop culture things. I am a Star Wars nut and I usually spend an hour or so going thru their awesomely large selection of vintage to present Star Wars loot. Whoever put in the overview that people usually typically spend 15 mins here is out of their mind! I easily will lose a solid 2 hrs going thru their amazing selection of toys and the like. The last time I was there I found a Venture Bros. Dean Venture action figure. NOBODY carries Venture Bros. stuff! Their staff is always friendly and attentive but leaves me alone while I hunt for the perfect find. Theres something to be said for staff that know their role and  know when to approach and help the customer but also know when the customer wants to do their own thing and be left alone. Kudos to them. I allways come home with AT LEAST 2 new Star Wars figures. And their prices dont break the bank either. They are pretty middle of the road. I prob shouldnt say this, but I would pay more than what they ask for most Items in this store. All around it's an experience to shop there. 99 times our of 100 I come home super amped up. And yes I've probably been there almost 100 times. This is my go to vintage toy store by far. Do I wish it was closer so I didnt have to drive so far? - I do. But I will continue to make the trip bcuz its just THAT worth it for me. When I walk thru those doors, no matter what kind of mood I'm in, I can't help but smile knowing I'm going home with some new toys. I always end up in a good mood! I will continue to schlep it out there if it  means finding those rare Star Wars figures for my collection. I plan on doing that as much as possible.  Cant wait til they put a store in the  New Haven area! (Hint hint).

Had a problem with one of the gift cards however the guy at the counter was able to knock the figure off by the amount that it was supposed to have a greatly appreciated awesome stuff worth going to 10 out of 10 😊

Great selection of classic games and rare titles.  Customer service was wonderful.   Got there at closing last night and they were great to deal with.  Highly recommended.

The selection they have is great and the staff have always been friendly to me. I got gifts for my best friend during the holidays and they helped me pick the gift.

Always been a really cool store; when they moved locations a year ago or so, it helped the store a lot.

This place is a wonderful place for finding collectables, or for bringing back fond memories of toys you'd forgotten. I have found quite a few collectables that I needed to finish a collection without spending an arm and a leg for shipping. Plus, if a different Toy Vault has an item you're looking for, nothing is more than 2 hours away. We've done a "Toy Vault Hopping" and had fun checking out all of the stores.

Great place for everything nerd, lol. Go there at least twice a week for funkos. Cant beat the selection.

A perfect destination for collectors.  The variety of items they carry is impressive:  Toys, board games, action figures, high-end models of popular sci-fi ships and weapons, comic books, retro lunch boxes, MTG and Pokemon cards, rare and valuable figures that have been discontinued, a GIANT selection of Funko pop figures (many of which I had never seen anywhere else).  They also buy old toys for cash or store credit.

I had been looking for a particular Star Wars toy to complete a collection and had no luck finding it after searching for over a month...Toy Vault had three of them.

I'm happy that this place is a 2.5 hour drive from my house...all my disposable income would go to them if it were any closer.

Great selection of retired sets and minifigures at a price slightly higher than bricklink but still fair, pllus you don't have to deal with shipping or individual sellers. 10/10 would go everyday if I lived closer.

I have always loved Toy Vault! Since their move to downstairs in the Crystal Mall, their product has completely grown and everything is neat and orderly! Not to mention the staff is friendly and sociable!

The Toy Vault is the main place where I get my Retro games for a while now. They always have a large selection of consoles and games alike and the prices are always reasonable. The employees will always assist you in a kind manner. I highly recommend The Toy Vault.

I have been there many times. Games and game consoles are available for sales. The prices are average and a lot of, lot of choices. But, you may not be happy with the staff.

Huge store with an unprecedented selection of new and vintage collectibles, including toys, comics, funkos, and video games. Unfortunately, prices aren’t at all competitive, with vintage gaming software in mediocre condition $10-30 above Price Charting Average.

So many great vintage toys and more! I usually go for the Pokemon plushies. They also buy old toys, funkos, comics but honestly wouldnt recommend selling to them. They wont give you your monies worth.

That is absolutely false.  In our 25 years in business we have never done that once.  Never.   

Be careful here and watch what u buy especially when it comes to POKEMON ! I purchased a very expensive "new" collectors edition pokemon card set that was previously opened and resealed to look new.

Sold my whole collection to them of Marvel Legends, Neca TMNT, Mcfarlane Toys DC Multiverse, He-man, Neca Horror, GI-Joe classified series, Ghostbusters plasma series and a lot of other odds and ends. I had at least $15,000 into this collection and I think I made $5000. Thats no lie either. Oh, forgot my WWE Ultimate collection and spiderman retro card. really sad the way the take advantage of people in need

Those magazines are from the 1980s through the 1990s so yes while they do have a cover price from that time period we have them priced accordingly to their age as you can not simply walk into a book store and pick them up. You can also take advantage of the bundle deal.

Also in reference to our $3 gold section. This section is one of our most popular things we offer here. Sure some figures have wear and tear to them, but most are hidden gems... diamonds in the rough  so to speak. People love our $3 gold section as it gives them an opportunity to purchase something from their childhood and not have to worry about paying inflated prices.

Great selection....that's all I can say. They sell loose broken figures at 3 dollars a pop. They sell wrestling magazines for double their cover price! 5 dollars per magazine, no price budge! Flippin highway robbery. Never again

Second time buying Pokémon cards here and still not a single hit… at this point I have bought over 10 booster packs because they weren’t terribly priced… not a single hit tho… I’ve never had that bad of luck and starting to feel suspicious about this place.

Worst experience ever, their products are way over priced and brought some packs from them and apparently they were all scaled and you weren’t able to pull anything out of it. Try to talk with them about their products are being overcharged about 30-40$ from how much the market and other stores were selling for and they just came back at me that people will eventually buy them like kids. Super rude and don’t respect their customers.

Never sell your Pokémon cards here, Back when I didn’t know the worth of my cards they screwed me so hard on pricing, I remember bringing Binders of vintage holos and only getting like 50$ I remember I brought a sky ridge hoho and he gave me 60$ like what!? Now that I know the prices this is absolutely trash store, They should start respecting there customers

So you've rated a store you've never been to one star based on the closing of another store? Sounds fair. The only thing that changed was the Toy Vault Games FACEBOOK page became an extension of our Toy Vault Crystal Mall page. Gaming has always been going on at our Crystal Mall location since well before this. But to extend the invite to others in our gaming community that's what we did. Toy Vault Games did have the doors closed. We are truly upset about having to make this decision, but it was a business decision and it's nothing personal. However the one star against a store that had nothing to do with that decision just seems out of place. I hope people read into this and judge the Crystal Mall location for what it is, and not for what you're referring to it as. You have never been inside of the Crystal Mall location therefore your rating isn't fair at all. You cannot rate something you've never experienced. Ok man where do i start? Toy vault games gets closed then instead of “closing” the doors you wait out time then say games is now in CT? So your player base was MA and RI you truly expect those players to travel an hour out for fnm and possibly prereleases(though i doubt it is a mall location after all). Please come the heck on now? Should have just legit closed toy vault games let it fizzle out. Not move it to a different location thinking you will bandaid it. Stores reviews arent even great for this location to start. Hey who am i to judge i dont own a company i just play the games you sell. Ill take my business to my local shops lol ill save my gas that way.

EDIT: In reply to the reply to my original, they are suggesting the RI players go to the crystal mall location. “Extention” is just an excuse. People want a local shop to go to not one they have to travel almost an hour out every time. In warwick there are a few shops already planted there that take 10 min for the players to probably get to. Its sad you think that people wont be annoyed by this “merge”/“extension”  what ever you want to call it. I mean if its an extension my rating stands as you “merged”

Having been in business for 20 years now and always buying vintages toys and games we assure you our business model hasn't been built on "lowballing". We always try to gauge what an item is worth and make an offer based off of that, keeping in mind that as a business we too have to make money off of said items so there's always a window for that. Unprofessional, sold me a broken product and refused to replace it. Acted as if I were waiting their time. Recommend avoiding this place and ordering online.

Terrible customer service. Zero day return policy so if something in a sealed box doesnt work youre s.o.l. Emloyees proved to be useless when attempting to return something that didn't work from day one. Wouldnt offer a future discount or even a store credit. If 0 stars were possible would have picked that.

Theives.  They "test" their products before selling them, and still sell bad merchandise.  Purchased DOOM 64 from them, brought it home and there is nothing I can do to make it work.  Tried all of the old tricks, and made sure to try playing a different game between attempts.  It is not my console.  Well never purchase anything from them ever again.  They robbed me.
