I highly recommend this establishment. After my experience, I would describe it as highly reputable and professional. I brought a few pieces in for appraisal and sale. I met with Kelli, a friendly, intelligent, knowledgeable, and communicative associate. As she was evaluating the jewelry pieces, she patiently explained the entire process to me and put any hesitation I may have had to rest. The owner has a policy of transparency where she provides a detailed, itemized receipt, so the seller is aware of why he/she/them is getting a certain sales price. I  came in just 30 minutes prior to the store closing and Kelli still took the time to accommodate me and was incredibly thorough in her work. I ended up with far more money than I imagined. I can say without a doubt that I will return in the future should I have any more pieces to sell.

What a pleasant surprise. I drive by this store every day and always thought it was probably some fly-by-night pawn shop but when I was cleaning out my mother in law's house, I came across some unmatched pieces of sterling silver flatware and after looking online and reading reviews, I decided to take a risk and go in there.  I found CT Gold & Silver to be highly professional, honest, and customer friendly and gave excellent value for my silver.  I learned my lesson to not pre-judge without actually checking an establishment in-person.  I highly recommend!

Excellent experience! They have the tools and knowledge to assess and get you the best price for your metals. Super clean, covid policies followed and a professional, friendly atmosphere. This is not your low scale pawn shop where you’re interacting with a hole in the wall. If you have jewelry sitting around serving no purpose in your life, bring it here and put some $ in the bank!

I'll admit that going to a service like CT Gold and Silver can be a bit awkward at first. However,  I was immediately put at ease by the professionalism and patience exhibited by the staff member,  Mario, that I dealt with during my visit.  He was knowledgeable and informative which allowed me to develop confidence that CT Gold and Silver would treat me fairly, and they did.  I was quite pleased with the value placed on my gold coins,  jewelry and Silver items. I walked away with a sizeable check in hand and the comfort that I now have an honest broker to liquidate my valuables going forward.  Thank you, Mario. In the past, when Dan was at this business, I would have given 5 stars. He was wonderful! Very welcoming, Kind, personable. He'd explain why an item was accepted or rejected. He'd explain the pricing structure. It was a pleasure working with him and I gladly referred people to him. Most unfortunately, Dan has relocated to another store nit close by.  The service now in Norwalk/Wilton is awful. I continued to go there only because of the fine reputation Dan had built. The current man there now is beyond extremely rude. He barely says anything and when he does it's usually rude. In fact, I took my 86-year mother there, at her request, just a couple months after her husband died so she could turn in some coins and have an item or 2 looked at. He did not greet us when we came in, speaking only when we approached him to tell him why we were there. He complained about the amount of coins my mother had. One item he would not take and refused to explain why. Rather, offered a curt "because." She asked him to explain the pricing and he was clearly, clearly annoyed. I just went this week and was again appalled by his rudeness & disrespect. He won't even give his name; that is why I refer to him simply as "He". The reputation that Dan built had been sullied over and over by this man. I, for one, will not return even though it is quite conveniently located. It is a shame that the owners of CT Gomd and Silver have allowed this to happen. I'd much rather drive the distance to the store Dan is in for much better customer service. I urge everyone not to go to the Norwalk/Wilton store if you want truly good, respectable service.
