truly a gem. finding consignment shops with options for men is hard. while this store doesnt have a mens section - they have things for even the most insecure guy. the $10 jean bin is clutch. the jeans were also pretty solid brands as well. the atmosphere and energy in there is kinda like a shared closet.

I never seem to leave empty-handed, yet I find just as much joy in simply browsing and appreciating the unique collection they’ve put together. The women who run the shop are not only knowledgeable about the backstory of the pieces they carry but also about the designers, fabric quality, and craftsmanship that make each item special. Their expertise adds another layer of appreciation to the shopping experience, and their kindness and honesty make it all the more enjoyable. As someone who tends to be a quiet shopper, I deeply appreciate that they allow me to explore without any pressure to buy. Yet when a special gem is discovered and purchased, there’s a shared sense of joy and excitement that has a certain je ne sais quoi. Clothes Encounter is more than a consignment shop—it’s a welcoming, warm space that invites you to pause, explore, and delight in the beauty of well-chosen fashion. Staff were so nice and helpful and prices were reasonable. Items were in great quality with many high end luxury designer brands

I LOVE Clothes Encounters! I have found amazing, unique and beautiful mainstays of my wardrobe here and consigned everything from my closets from formal wear to boots to sandals and slacks. I always have a major score and the people who run the store are incredibly welcoming and helpful. LOVE going there for formal wear for all seasons and staples too!

I came here was greeted by friendly staff and found a super cute necklace for $20 . Not lots of plus size clothes which is what I am primary looking for but very cute small shop.

I had a wonderful experience here. I went with my daughter to Eastern market and looked up thrift stores in the area (as I always do) and found this store literally across the street. Everyone working there were so nice. I got a beautiful ring that I love!

My favorite second hand shop in the area! Good selection of quality brands, but lots of stuff that isn't incredibly high end designer so regular people can actually afford to shop here. A lot of good things from brands like Banana Republic and Loft.
