I want to share my experience with Legacy Estate & Home Furnishings Consignment. I sold my home in Florida and 85% of my furniture and miscellaneous stuff had nowhere to go. Along came Nancy, owner of Legacy who was referred to me by my broker, and what should have been a daunting task she made easy and profitable for me. From a sectional sofa to a vase, from outdoor furniture to a stationary bike, from my dumbbells to my sculptures, she took (almost) it all, and made arrangements for the remainder to be donated which was my original intention for most. And then Nancy arranged for a terrific mover to take the furniture I wanted back to NJ. Within two days (and maybe three or four by Nancy) my home was broom clean, and on a monthly basis I’ve been paid for what’s sold, accompanied by an inventory list. Rarely does one find a trustworthy company who does what they say, with passion and expediency. Truly a gold star operation.

Perfect. We were consigning most of our furniture; moving to another condo with different dimensions. Legacy came to our house, appraised everything, arranged for movers to bring to her space and virtually sold everything! within just a few months. She is a pleasure to work with, expert, professional and delivers completely on what she promises. Highly recommend!

I contacted numerous owners of consignment shops in the Boca Raton area when I sought to sell the contents of a family condominium being sold rather quickly. Nancy Rosenthal @ Legacy Estate & Home Furnishings was the first to respond and the most knowledgeable. She is sure of her interests, knows her customers and offers personal service to assist potential consignors. In short, Nancy tries to make the entire (difficult and cumbersome) process of buying and selling used furniture work for everyone. As soon as I arrived in town, Nancy came to meet me and to evaluate in person what I'd offered her first in email. She is most efficient in making her selections and equally well-versed in pricing items fairly for quick resale. When I needed a mover to bring selected items to Legacy's storefront, Nancy recommended Patriot Moving who proved to be fairly priced and most efficient. Two excellent young guys and a truck arrived within hours and they carefully whisked away my stuff to Legacy's showroom that very afternoon. Legacy's follow up accounting, tracking and payment reporting is first rate and accurate. I'm very pleased to have made Nancy's acquaintance and highly recommend her to you. If you are shopping for curated, used furniture in excellent condition, you must put Legacy on top of your list. Nancy is the best! Sent her pictures of the furniture we had to sell. She was very responsive, came to view the items personally, and then helped make arrangements to have a truck load shipped to her store. (We paid the mover) Stuff is selling like hot cakes and we made back the moving fees and then some in only 12 days! I would strongly recommend her to anyone looking for an honest and good consignment. She is wonderful!

I loved discovering this upscale consignment store on the east side of North Federal Hwy between Glades Road and Spanish River Blvd in Boca Raton. They have a 10,000 square foot showroom with multiple rooms selling previously owned and gently used rugs, furniture, art, costume jewelry, and decorative items. All of the consignment items are arranged beautifully and clearly marked with tags that show the price reductions that takes place the longer the item is in the store. After the initial price is issued it will be half price if it is still there three months later. My favorite find was a beautiful Restoration Hardware bed with a shelf headboard and matching dresser that had been marked down to $1.400. A plush purple chair fit for royalty also caught my eye while an ornate lamp was only $35. Items ranged from just a few dollars for a small decorative item to thousands for high end furniture. If you want to sell your items with them you can email photos of your gently used, clean, and smoke-free furniture, home decor, artwork, and rugs. They also do estate sales. I had so much fun browsing and the staff was so friendly and helpful. Count me among the Legacy fans.
