Love Love FIFI'S The Staff is Wonderful and Always Helpful With A Smile 😃

I love this place!  I live in NYC but we have nothing like this. The store is well organized and the inventory is thoughtfully curated.  No thrift store vibes here: LV, Louboutin, Gucci, Freebird, Zach Posin...very high end at accessible prices. Their handbags and  shoes alone are worth the trip.  The staff is also fantastic.  Danni is the best-- like having your own personal shopper..

I purchased a Chico wrap. Tag said $22 but when I got to the register the clerk told me it was half off.

First time here and I loved it!  I was able to walk around and look at everything at my own pace.  I was informed of a “sale room” and lost my mind!  So much fun and great merchandise at great prices!!  When I had questions, the sales staff was helpful and very friendly!  I highly recommend this place and will be back next time I am in the area!!

This thrift store is awesome. I got two perfect condition Anne Taylor suits for less than $15 each, a Ted Baker dress for $88, and a Tumi weekender bag for $80. You can find everything from wedding gowns to athletic wear here. Highly, highly recommend.

Myself and mother-in-law walked in. We were looking everywhere, and the prices were very reasonable and truly right. The jewelry and purses are impeccable! This store is perfect for this location. We just thought it was amazing.

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this place!  I have been every where to find something for a 71 yr. old granny to wear to a wedding next month.  If I found something at a high end store it would be in the ball park of $100.00 or more.  This boutique has beautiful clothing and accessories for great prices. The girls there are amazingly helpful and fun.  Kathy and Lluvia went above and beyond just helping me.  They even put outfits together for me.
i'm out of space....you won't be sorry to visit FiFi's.  SHOP there!

Fifi's is the BEST! I recently moved to the area and have a new house with several rooms I needed to furnish.
I have found two occasional chairs, a dining table, a credenza, and bedroom furniture here. Good quality furniture, too. What I particularly like is that FiFi's only accepts furniture that is in excellent condition and from smoke free homes. Inventory varies, of course, but there are new pieces arriving regularly.

Love this place. Have been shopping here for last few years and have found a lot good quality furniture pieces and wall decor. Maryann is always a pleasure to deal with.

This place is addictive. I find the nicest clothes with well-know brands and pay a fraction of retail price. The staff is super friendly.

Wonderful selection of better furniture than your average Rooms to Go at an excellent price.  Nice friendly staff that was not too overbearing yet very knowledgeable and helpful. No military discount which sucks but prices were fair and quality was wonderful. Wide array of styles of furniture and home decor.

I am a very long time customer of Fifi's and I absolutely love the customer service that they all have to offer. It is one of my favorite places to be everyone is very friendly and attentative to every customer's needs. As soon as any customer walks in they are greeted and someone comes yo to explain the way the tags works in case it is your first time there. Great environment and very professional team .

My wife loves this store.  She takes all of our female visitors there (although I think they have items for  men too), and they love it as well.  Great prices on gently used, high end clothing and accessories.

I have had very good experiences here. Lots of variety. Some prices seem high. But, they offer specials and 20% off anything that has been in the store more than 30 day. The staff has always been very friendly and helpful.

Very nice upscale resale shop. The prices are higher (and worth it on some items,) yet a little too high on other items. Nice selection of formal dresses at a decent price.

Smelled like urine or a nursing home.
Big sign on front door large print 50% off everything.  In tiny print “if it’s been in the store for 30 days“. How would I know how long it’s been there?  Clerk said to check the date on the price tag.  Again smallest print ever.
Why don’t you and your staff do the mining for your customers and put all the 31 day old items in a section of the store?  Just a thought.

As with many other reviews, customer service from the ladies behind the counter leave much strive for. I've been coming to Fifi's for years both to consign and to purchase. No one ever greets you upon arriving

Totally rude staff. I have taken items to the Fifi's in Sarasota location and they are SO NICE and have such a higher end products.
Lakewood Ranch NOT SO MUCH. Staff is rude and has no customer service skills.
I have taken merchandise to the Sarasota location for several years and sold everything I have taken to that location. Lakewood ranch location would not consider even looking at the items due to the fact I did not have on hangers. While Sarasota does not require this so it was news to me.
My items had all been dried cleaned and some brand new. They acted as if I had brought the items in from Goodwill. They all had been purchased at Anthropologie, Ann Taylor, Gap and Nordstorms.
I have never seen such rudeness in staff. I will not shop or go back to this location. Sarasota is a must shop this location DRIVE ON PAST. TOTAL WASTE OF TIME.

Staff is rude at times.  Be careful buying handbags as they do sell knockoff LV purses for high dollar.   I would advise to read the reviews on the Nextdoor app BEFORE consignment of your items.

I have consigned here for years, because there is nothing else in the area. A few months ago, they said they had no record or "lost" two pair of sunglasses I bought in to consign- Kate Spade and RayBan. They also  once "lost" a check I was told I had to pick up. Said it didn't exist. When I pursued and kept calling, they miraculously found it. Staff is unbelievably rude. Just went in again today- my sister spoke with someone 2 weeks ago who said she had a check. They could not find check. They are apparently switching systems and there are now two consignor numbers per person. Staff is unbelievably rude. Never again.

I should have listened to previous reviews from other consigners whose items have gone missing. As expected, one of my items, a pair of Tory Burch shoes, were “lost”. And instead of the store coming to a reasonable resolution I was met with the information that the store is not responsible for lost or stolen items. The fact that they have this in their contract should be warning for all that is this happens way too often. A store so has NO business selling high-end items just to say “they are lost and there is nothing we can do”. If I wanted to not make any money on my shoes, I would have donated them. I am convinced employees steal items and they have not made any effort to resolve this other than adding that silly clause into their contract. Consigners beware, because it will very likely happen to you too.

Dear Owner/Manager of FiFi’s,

I am writing to express my profound disappointment with the customer service I received at FiFi's today. I have been a loyal customer for years, but my experience this evening has left me questioning whether I will ever return.

When I entered the store, I was not greeted or acknowledged. About 15 minutes before closing, a male employee announced, seemingly to no one in particular, that the store would be closing soon. As I was the only customer in the store, a more courteous approach would have been to politely inform me directly. Instead, I overheard his announcement while I was on the phone.

When I asked if I could take some items home to try on and return those that didn't work, he responded by laughing and dismissing my request as "double consignment." I was shocked by his rudeness, especially since other stores offer similar services.

To make matters worse, the woman working alongside him supported his inappropriate behavior instead of offering a proper apology or assistance. She simply echoed his sentiment, making me feel unwelcome and disrespected.

If I ever encounter these two employees in the store again, I will not spend another penny at FiFi's. Their behavior is not only unprofessional but also damaging to your business's reputation. I sincerely hope that this message reaches the owners and that appropriate action is taken. Such poor customer service is how small businesses lose loyal customers and, eventually, close their doors.

Thank you for your attention to this matter. I look forward to hearing how this situation will be addressed.

Terrible customer service. The owner is not very helpful or responsive. Very rude and condescending to new customers.  There are many other places to shop in Venice.  Stay away from this shop.

The Worst customer service 3-4 employees working fri afternoon no one ever acknowledges you , had clothing in hand shopping no may I hang those for you etc. employee 1 foot away from me , stood at jewelry counter  employees close by had to turn and ask for help, showing me rings only Then did second employee come over saying I don’t need to even tell You to other employee  Friendliness and common courtesy is Not this shops strong point!
I’ve been in a few times will not return , maybe if your a regular customer your treated differently.
Would give no star if possible

Was about to checkout with a Louis Vuitton bag when one of the employees said they receive extremely good fakes...only then was it clarified that the bag was fake (along with a few others). I assumed all of the items were authentic given they are a fine resale shop that only accepts top quality/brand pieces. Nonetheless, selling counterfeit goods is illegal.

Customer service was unacceptable.  Manager obviously had a friend interested in a piece and sold over the phone before the store opened.  This type of business conduct is why I will never shop there again.   All customers should have a fair and equitable chance at purchasing items and not have things sold from under them behind closed doors for a friend.

We here at Fifi's strive to do the best we can do on a daily basis.  We pride ourselves in our relationships with our consignors and customers.  You have many choices to shop and consign and we are grateful that you have chosen us.  We will continue to grow not only among ourselves but with our neighbors.  Yes, we are very fast paced and there are days that we all can be over whelmed.  So sorry for your unpleasant experience.  We must set rules within the store and try to abide by these to each and every person.

Customer for a few years now and consign a lot with Fifis, however , the owner is very rude as well as a few of the older ladies who work there. In fact, I honestly can’t believe the way Kathy spoke to me today when consigning over 50 items with them. I have made Fifis much money and continue to be disgusted by some of the women who work there. They become so overwhelmed and really shouldn’t have been hired in a fast paced working environment.

Went there again yesterday (Christmas week) and again Kathy was terrible to me! She was belligerent in front of my daughter for not hanging clothing on hangers before entering the store! I had several items which she threw across the counter at me including my grandmothers real gold necklace. My daughter was so upset she asked to sit in the car! I tried to make extra money and returned in the past but will never ever consign with them again. I can not believe they feel they can behave this way! I’m not a hard person to get along with and am a customer! I can’t believe she would speak to anyone the way she spoke to me yesterday. She also refused to give me my check although she knows who I am and wasn’t wearing a mask. Beware they’re the worst business in town. The owner and Kathy are pretentious without reason. Do not patronize this business. Many more out there including online. So much for trying to support a smaller business.
I was so upset by this yesterday as never been treated so poorly!

Terrible experience from customer service to providing support for merchandise. CallEd twice prior to going to find out when is the best time to drop off things for resale. I followed the request and when I came in they were telling me about not having enough staff. Didn’t mind waiting then after we unloaded everything out of the truck he told me they want it light colors which some of my things were I looked around the show room and noticed most things were dark   Most of my things were within the last five years didn’t like any of my things and contradicted that they said they needed  but yet they had a lot of old things in the store. I would not recommend.

This place USED to be great-convenient, however lately the women that work there have been horrible.  They ignore you when you are dropping items off for consignment--literally walk right by you--gossip with each other--and treat you as if you were some underling of theirs.  They are rude, disrespectful, unprofessional, and a disgrace to this store.  Horrible customer service--will never return.

Extremely over priced old lady clothes. But, I was still having fun, we had been in there about 25 minutes. I was trying on shoes Near the front, when an extremely rude woman Yelled across the store to me "we close at 6 " (it was exactly 5:56 according to my phone time) when I replied to her that I had been watching my time to be courteous and said "I realized I only had 4 minutes, we will hurry". She then snapped back and said "no! you have two minutes! We are closing! " So my niece and I put down our items we were contemplating on buying and left. Very rude experience. I go into this store randomly here and there and this was the first time I've experienced her. I'm not sure who she is, but this was 5:55pm on Nov 25 at the Lakewood ranch location. There were only two women working so not hard to narrow down who the woman was. I should have gotten her name.

No deals at Fifi's, and even a few scams.  They make an awfully big deal about being a boutique consignment store, including having all sorts of rules about the quality and brands of products that they will accept for consignment.  They are more than willing to break those rules if they think they can dupe a customer though.  Walk through any location, and the brand is almost always prominently displayed somewhere on the tag.  When it's not, watch out.  A few days ago, my wife and I were looking for a low shelving unit for behind our couch.  We had a particular piece in mind from IKEA, but figured we'd check the local places first.  Upon walking into the store, what did we find?  The exact piece we were looking at.  It had a few dings in the front, and one leg was wobbly, but it's IKEA and I can fix those.  (This, by the way, is expressly against their furniture acceptance policy which states items must be pristine.)  Then we saw the price tag.  It was being sold, used and damaged on consignment, for more than it costs to buy new from IKEA.  When we confronted one of the employees about this, with photo proof from the IKEA website on our phone, she argued with us.  I had to get down on my hands and knees and point out the unique fasteners visible on the bottom of each shelf.  Finally after 2 or 3 minutes of arguing with us, she went back to talk to the owner.  She came back out looking cowed and asked us how much we would offer for the item.  We made our offer, expecting to haggle a little bit.  She went back to talk to the owner again, this time returning looking smug.  She informed us that the best they could do was a value only a few dollars under the new retail value.  When we pointed out that the piece was damaged AND that don't accept IKEA furniture, another employee came over to see if she could diffuse the situation.  When we filled her in, she told us we didn't have to buy it because someone less informed would buy it soon.  Needless to say, we just bought the new version instead.  I'm all for a local business charging a fair price and making a nice profit, but not by scamming your customers.  Fifi's won't be seeing our business again.

I bought a “Dooney & Bourke” purse from FiFis yesterday, 5 Dec. and when I got home I realized it was a knock off, not even real leather. I called in to the store this morning (at LWR) and was told there is nothing that can be done about this. I realize the policy is no returns, but this feels like fraud when I paid 94.00 USD for a used designer purse that is a fake. The receipt says “Dooney & Bourke” clearly it is not. Beware when when shopping at this store!

Had a very bad customer service experience. I received a gift card while visiting my mother in Florida in February 2017. I left the gift certificates for my next visit in April of 2018. The gift certificate has an expiration date of August 2017. Because in CT there is a statue that doesn’t allow gift certificates to expire; I decided to research the Florida statute. According to the chapter 501 section 95 in Florida a gift certificate cannot expire. I asked the store manager to revisit their policy and she said regardless of state statute they would not honor an expired gift certificate.  I left my name and number for the owner but I am leaving Florida tomorrow, let’s see if I hear back from them.

I just called the store this afternoon to check on the statis of my consginment and see if I had a check waiting for me.  Four months agao I was told I had a balance of $18.00 but a check could not be cut for me because they have a $20.00 limit before cutting a check. I was okay with that but today I was told I have a $12.00 balance. Not sure what is going on here; this has happened to me before and now it is happening again.
I am not sure what to think of this store since this is my secaond time ealing with this.  What is going on??????

this is a rip off! at least when u go to Platos Closet u walk out with SOMETHING! we were misled from the moment we walked in the door. we were told by the employee that they would pay us "XX" amount & made it sound so good we drove 30 miles round trip to get more "top of the line" dresses/gowns. when ANOTHER lady showed up & told us we would get nothing till they sold, we were surprised! NOTHING had been said about "waiting" 90 days for the possibility of selling them.  i just called to check on our clothes (been there since May) they had sold 2 outfits. One was a 2 pc navy chiffon with sequins around the borders which was worn ONCE & cost $200, we got $11 from them. if i hadnt called i wouldnt have known. this place is a rip off & i plan to broadcast it EVERYWHERE!
