I took my girls here for a Pokémon event today. It was my first time playing, and everyone was so friendly and helpful to me and my kids. Zack was fantastic running the event, and the other players were super helpful and didn’t mind giving me tips and chatting. I was surprised by how much fun it was to play. We will come back!

The owner and staff are very knowledgeable with all the games and comics that they offer. If they don’t have what you are looking for, they have been great with offering alternatives (supplies like sleeves, storage, and accessories).

This place is my favorite game store. Atmosphere is great. Owner cares about his customers. He is down to earth and super kind. Fun place to go!

This is the most professional shop and probably the nicest in the Fort Myers- Naples area. They have a massive selection of every single thing you could want, from comics to board games to cards. They have probably the most impressive action figure collection I’ve seen in SWFL and regularly do both mtg and comic events.

What you don’t hear about is that they have an entirely massive unadorned room next door anyone could play mtg or dnd in. Most guys were playing Warhammer 40k tho. There was even new players trying there first game of DnD.

This is one of the oldest shops I know of in the area and it’s worth it despite being 40 miles from my house. Anything you could want you can find here and it has an active casual scene. A factor important when you want a casual game.

Both of the cashiers were 10/10. They had systems on sale which I’ve never seen at a game store. At least 10 to 30 people there each time I’ve gone in the afternoon.

Cool place here. Not the largest selection of comics in the world (I'm pretty sure I have more), but it's a nice cozy store, and everyone is great. Every time I am in there, I can see that they have a great relationship with their regulars, as everyone greets each other by name.

The staff was extremely knowledgeable and helpful! The store has comics, card games, board games, deck boxes, dice and much more! There's many tournaments and events hosted here, so there's always something to look forward to each week. This is the most professional and active comic book store around here. I've been visiting this store for years and will continue for as long as they're open!

New to Cape Coral and this was my first stop. Did not disappoint. It’s perfect for my Pokémon cards needs and comic books. Definitely will continue to go back. I can honestly say this is my favorite shop.

Hands down the best collectibles, comics, miniatures, and TCG store in the region. Great selection of products across a wide range of interests. Pricing is very fair, and they even offer a rewards program. The employees are great, and Tom, the owner, has been a staple in the industry for over 20 years. Definitely check this place out!

I stopped by this place while visiting relatives in FL.  Good venue with a nice staff.  Participated in a Lorcana tournament and had a good time. The staff and community were very welcoming.  Overall it was  very good experience.

This place is awesome!! I love all their comic books and stuff!!! My favorite comic books there are X-men, x force, and planet of the apes!!! I also make my own comics, and I talked to the owner, (shoutout to you, Tom! ;) ) and he agreed to do it! It’s called “Mega Squad  #1.” It has 4 heroes named Amphibi-Man, The Comic Reliever, H2Bro, and Danger Dan!

I grew up in cape, and I have always driven past this store, until one fateful day I stepped inside back in 2020. Amazing selection of tabletop games, I have also pre-ordered and bought some comics. They host certain games on certain days of the week, yu-gi-oh, pokemon, magic etc etc. They also have a pretty neat selection of statues and figures if you're into those. Living in Naples I unfortunately don't have local access to a Comic book shop. So, in comes Cool Comics & Games. Thankfully they are a great place to find comics, TCG, Funko Pop! figures and more! The staff is helpful and kind and to me that really makes a difference. Sometimes you really don't know the artist or the TCG mechanics but they are always willing to help. That means a lot to me. So please, come by Cool Comics & Games and give them a try!

In addition to all this, every year we participate in Free Comic Book Day in May, and Trick or Read in October, where we give out hundreds of free comic books to local kids and collectors

***After going to a few other comic shops in the area I realized this is the norm for comic shops in Florida (at least in a two hour radius). We are traveling this week and I love to find new comic shops to visit, try to find 'gems'. My original commentary below is based on comic shops from where we live in New Hampshire, and the New England area*** With that said I changed my rating to a 5. The comics could use a little sorting/organizing, but the store is super clean and they do have the toys, statues, etc.

Not a comic ship by any means.

They do have a small selection of comics, some new some old, and some graphic novels.

However, they are definitely a tabletop game shop. Tons of games, kids and adults. Great deals, and a wide selection.

If you're looking for comics to browse through I'd suggest somewhere else, but if you're in the mood for some gaming I'd definitely make your way here.

I've been in Cape Coral almost all my life and this place has been amazing. Whether it's comics, cards, tabletop, or otherwise, this place has been the spot! I don't exactly stop to chat and stuff when I'm there as I haven't really played anything locally quite yet, but just having a place this well stocked is quite nice in general!

Great shop, great people.. Everyone is very nice. They also host different types of tournaments often.. I personally don't play, only collect. But very fair prices, and a nice selection to look through.  Two thumbs up!

My first time there and I was very very impressed. It's clean, the lighting is great, well organized and I really like the setup. The staff are friendly and outgoing. It's definitely worth the trip there.

Lots of comics! Great card and (very unique) board game selection stuck out to me as well. I had stopped here admittedly hoping to find anime merchandise (my mistake as that is not the stores focus and I knew it was a stretch) but the staff was incredibly helpful and answered all of my questions. They did have a small anime section if I recall, and some gorgeous dice sets. While it may be a niche store it's definitely a gem!

Haven't even visited, yet.  But seeing the only 3 star reviews are pretentious and ridiculous, alongside the only 1 star review being a math denier that tried claiming a "medical exception" for their kid, tells me this place ROCKS!

I have asthma, and am a heart patient.  Never had trouble doing stress tests with the doctor while wearing up to three masks at the same time to prove my oxygen levels didn't drop.

Proof positive that people need to just stop it and shut up already.

My husband ducked in real quick after lunch at Pete's, found something he liked and I was able to surprise him for Christmas!

Staff was very friendly and knowledgeable! They helped me understand Pokémon and get the right stuff so my young daughter can play. They even gave me free energy cards! Will definitely come here again. Thank you!

I love this place!!! It's been years since I stopped my trading card collecting so I was surprised and happy to know that I had a Card and Comic shop right around the corner from my house

I've been to the shop before and always liked it. But Now that I'm recovering from a spinal injury and using wheelchair/walker to get around I enjoy the store so much more.
Inside there is so much space to get around and I don't feel like I'm in danger of breaking anything. Lots of available tables to be seated at. Everyone there is very nice and usually open for a game or two.
Nice to feel normal again. <3

Brought a bunch of old comic books in for the owner to look at. He was very knowledgable and courteous. Very cool place. Check out their web site. There always something going on there.

One of 3 spots in town to play magic the gathering, yugioh or pokemon. The store has 2 sides, one is the shop and the other is the table/play area. Their singles selection is pretty small. You tell its not their main business money maker. But they have fair prices and friendly staff. Highly recommend as a spot to grab a friendly game or to join an event.

I am more into the board games so my review is from that perspective. This store has an excellent selection of modern boardgames that you won't find anywhere else in Cape Coral. They also have many comics and support for D&D and hobby tools and paints. Staff are friendly and helpful. There is a good board game group on Thursday nights in their space next door where they also run many card game tournaments. They also have space and product for miniature games such as 40k. Definitely worth checking out.

Neat store that was well-organized. They had a pretty good selection of board games and a wide-array of Dungeons & Dragons supplies. They had some neat collectibles as well and a decent comic selection. The employees were friendly and not over-bearing, but it would have been nice to have some suggestions on specific games. I would definitely return here in the future for Dungeons & Dragons accessories.

I was looking to buy Pokemon cards that were more than the binder with the $1-$4 cards. Staff just showed me that binder and did other things. I guess I will keep buying cards online.

That "unmarked unit" is our gameroom,you know, where we play Pokémon. If there was any confusion as to where to go, just ask. No gatekeeping here, so hop off your little soapbox

Told a friend to check out this place for their pokemon games. After being asked if he was participating, he was left with not knowing where to go, and watching other players carry their things into a unit (unmarked.)

This gate-keeping culture has to stop, unless you want to lose business or bring more of those kinds of people around.

Won't recommend anyone to go to this shop again, as this is a card/comic shop. Not an egregious audition, or popularity contest.
ETA: why wasn't that told to him, when talking about why he was there? That would seem like the next step from someone who worked there, wouldn't it?

Spoke with the staff on duty for drafts. This never happened. Either you're confused about which store you were at, or you are lying.

staff was rude and lacked social skills, also saw the employee take dice that a paying player of a draft left and put a price tag on it and put it on the floor for sale.. won’t be back

I don't like leaving reviews, never-mind bad ones. I ignored the first few issues I have had, but kind of hard to at this point. I won't be coming back again. The staff that I have dealt with everytime has been like talking to a wall. Awkward and condescending, no soft skills whatsoever.

The real issue is multiple times I have messaged them about particular product in stock/pre-order and have been told they have it, just for me to drive almost an hour for them to either not have the product or not have the pre-order option available/all pre orders being fulfilled. Wasting almost 2 hours in a car is not ideal, and I will not be coming back.
