Miss Sarah is really a very sweet lady and has excellent clothes at a wonderful price. I could not believe the deals I got and I looked so fabulous in my new pearls and sunglasses and dress and boots the next day. I just felt like a million bucks. My entire outfit was under $50 and I was able to buy several other dresses for around 5:00 and $10. I couldn't believe it. What a find. I almost didn't want to write a review because I like to keep this sweet gem a secret

If you are looking for a thrift store that is clean and sells amazing furniture look no further. This place is by far the best thrift shop in the area. Everyone is kind and respectful. I bought two leather barstools and and ottoman for $90! The store is not huge but the products are fabulous. We will be making regular trips here.

I purchased my mother of the bride dress here, hanging on the mannequin outside.. It feels and looks good, perfect fit. I couldn't find anything else online or in the more expensive dress shops that I liked. My husband and I recently painted the interior of our home and need matching decor. We found the perfect sea turtle pillows to match and a brand new coffee machine as well as updates to my everyday and work wardrobe. My daughter shops this place for unique art decor and clothing also.

I called several Consignments Shops in the Cape Coral area - because I moved to Florida from New York and wanted to purchase several pieces of furniture for a spare bedroom, living room, etc.

Sarah at House of Consignment, Located in Cape Coral, FL was by far,  the most pleasant, professional and courteous person I delt with.

Sara was exceptional in all aspects, especially when helping me decide on the correct pieces and sizes.

Excellent service from beginning to end.  I would highly recommend stopping by or calling Sara @ House of Consignment in Cape Coral.

Very helpful, reasonable prices and good quality.
Helped me create the finish I desired.
It so refreshing to have such a helpful person on the other end of the phone and not to be kept on hold before being connected to someone.
Great value for the money - vital when you are trying to stay in budget.

I want to share the excellent  experience I have had with Sarah at House of consignment. I moved here a year and a half ago and brought items to Sarah to sell. She was friendly and professional, and explained to me how the process would work. I have always been pleased with all of my purchases from the store, as well as being a consignor. If you haven’t been to the House of consignment, you must make a trip!

Love this store. The owner and her family are amazing good people and the store is always fun to shop at. Over the years I've taken items in to sell and asked her to add the proceeds to my account so I can use the credit to buy things at her store in the future. Then every time I've come back, even after years since I don't live in the area, I still have a balance on my account to spend. It's awesome and she keeps great records that even I would have forgotten about! I'm sure Sarah has a lot of other loyal clients and shoppers from over the years. Thank you for being so good at what you do and making it work so well for the rest of us!

I have been here 4 times and every time I come in  Sarah the owner just has great merchandise and it is priced extremely fair and I leave purchasing something every time . This time it was a matching Nutuzzi couch and recliner . The nicest lady with the greatest stuff and great deals . She told me she has been here 15 years .

My mother and I were thrift store shopping all day and our last stop was House of consignment, its is a breath of freash air. EVERYTHING is reasonably priced and not like other consignment stores where alot of it is things are old and outdated thing. The owner Sarah was beyond helpful and extremely nice. She offered to give us a discount on things we liked if it wasnt ALREADY on discount.She takes pride in her shop and keeps it clean organized and i was mostly impressed how good it smelled. Never have i walked in to a thrift store that didnt smell like old storage. Her store smelt so clean and freash like a house. She even offered me to invite my daughter (who was so over shopping) to come in to sit with her daughter. I will definitely be coming back. She gained two new loyal customers. And i will recommend her thrift store to everyone as one of Cape corals best consignment stores we have.

We have visited a number of consignment stores in the Cape Coral/Fort Myers area over the last 5 years.  This store is the best!  The deals are fantastic!  There is a wide variety of items. The store is clean and organized and the staff  is always happy to help us.  They are polite and professional.  The best part is that the manager is always open to making a deal depending on the purchase.  Other stores are not open even considering discussions beyond what the price tag indicates.  Great store, great prices, great people.

I have had amazing experiences throughout the 7 years I have been stopping in to shop around at House of Consignment. Owner Sarah has reasonable prices, and great service. Being able to look through the variety of clothes, furniture, and accessories with a very organized set up is a please to me. Very clean and welcoming, definitely have never had a problem with any of my visits. Super glad to have this store in my area.

I love this shop! After weeks of searching in various departments stores for magazine rack, I happened to walk in today and there it was! I also bought a beautiful handbag with tags still on it! Beautifully organized store, and Sara the owner was extremely helpful and a pleasure to do business with. Definitely worth checking out. I will be back!!

I do a lot of business here and I have never had a bad experience. All of the employees are really nice and have always been able to help me with everything I've needed. I get paid what I expect to get paid in a timely manner. I love this store!!! :)

Mish, mash of inventory.  Not too impressive.

I would be wary before taking anything to this store to consign.  Employees seem to be confused by the computer system and have no real grasp of what they are doing.  Every time I have a question I am told to come back when the owner is there.  After handing over 3 baskets of designer clothing, baby gear, and purses.  I have seen only one credit of $6.  ALL my handbags are "missing".  Girl running the counter has NO idea how to work the computer or any ideas as to where my stuff is.  All she said "it all erases after a few months, there's nothing I can do".   I will make the drive to Once Upon a Child next time, this place is a huge scam.  I've lost at least $500 worth of stuff.

I have been thinking about how I wanted to respond to this for a few weeks. I felt I could talk about the reasons that lead up to me politely asking you to pick up your items from my store. This is long, but hopefully this may help spare you the disaster that happened to me when I tried to consign with this establishment.  I contacted Sarah about some items I wanted to consign because I was moving into a one bedroom.  A few days later I stopped into the store to sign the paperwork.  At that point she informed me that she could not sell the bed at all because it had a pale stain on the lower right of the headboard, and the corners of the bed frame were frayed.  While I was in the store, I noticed a sleeper couch and a blue chair.  Ithought that the sleeper couch would be good for the one bedroom and would be a b etter fit than my larger sectional.  So I went ahead and purchased the sleeper couch and chair on the spot.  She ended up charging me for the wrong chair and consequently over charging me.  I said not to worry about it and to credit my account for the difference.  I went home and sent her lots of pictures of the sectional.  I explained it was less than a year old from Wayfair and that the purchase price was $1300 so obviously it would need to be priced well.  However, she would not give me a price until she saw it. So again, I try to get the movers to transport the sectional and pickup the couch and chair which I had already purchased.  Well the movers wasted about 4 days of my life and continually failed to show up.  I finally got someone who was willing to help for less than a $100 but things are now adding up.  I should mention I have a dog and dust busted the heck of the sectional.  A few days later she called to tell me she was going to list it for $625.  I was not happy about this at all and expressed that had she given me any indication that the listing would be this low I would not have bought the other couch and had the sectional delivered, but she now had the sectional and I had the couch, so I was stuck.  She begrudgingly agreed to list it for $725.   A few days later she told me that she was going to mark the sectional down to $325 as she said customers thought it was too expensive and it was covered with dog hair – Remember I had dust busted and bought one of those machines to get the little wear and tear baubles off!  At that point I said I didn’t want to do it at that ridiculously low price and that I would take the sectional back, but I would need to return the couch I bought as I didn’t need two couches in the 1 bedroom. She then told me that she could not refund the $325 I had paid for the blue couch, but she would be happy to re-consign it for me-essentially selling it twice and making double the sale.  So, this where I ask you the customer, does this seem fair or ethical?  To me it did not, so I asked again for a refund to which again she profusely refused.  Not only did she refuse to refund the money for the couch, but she also sent me an email saying that we should cut all ties and that I needed to come and get all the items I had previously delivered.  So now I have to get yet another truck and movers to go and pick up all the furniture that should refused to consign. I asked if she could disassemble the bedframe, which she said “we don’t do that.”  I basically paid $625 for the couch with al l the moving costs.  While I was able to sell it for $375, I was still $250 out of pocket on this whole mess, not to mention having to list and sell all the other furniture.  All she had to do was return the couch (the right thing to do) and sell it again which would have not been hard as she said eventhough it was marked sold, she had lots of people asking about it.  So, there you have it.  You can decide for yourself.  But know that if you do purchase something from this store, they will not give you a refund and allow you to return it despite the fact that there is nothing stated on the account / contract paperwork. After this experience, I will never consign again.  I urge you to do the same and simply sell your stuff on Facebook Marketplace for FREE.
