Great store, very clean and lots of good deals.

Very clean and well organized store! Prices are reasonable and employees and volunteers are friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. Pick up and delivery can also be scheduled.

Nice people,clean store, prices could be a bit lower though. Nice furniture I should know I donated a lot of my own furniture to this Thrift store. It's a good treasure hunt when your here looking around always find something you can't live with out..😄 hahaha. K.King.

This is one of my favorite thrift stores in the area.  I love finding fun little treasures when I go.   You never know what you will find there.  The staff is always so helpful and kind.  If you are in the area swing in and say hi to Bernice and staff.

The clothing is very cheap, and is half off if you shop on a Tuesday. The clothes are of great quality and change frequently.

Society of St. Vincent de Paul is an amazing place to shop. They have many sections to look around at. I have heard stories of the facualty being rude, but have never expierenced it, and hopefully never will. I love going to the shoe section since they always have good brands to choose from. There prices and sales are amazing. I started going here a few months ago since all other thrift stores prices went through the roof. There prices are very reasonable. Whenever I go in there the staff asks me if I need any help finding anything and I am very thankful for that. Thank you for being such an amazing store to shop.

If you haven't shopped here in awhile or never have shopped here, you must see the new remodeled store. Memorial Day weekend the staff and volunteers rearranged the majority of the merchandise. It looks very appealing. A must see. No, I do not work there. I am just a regular customer. They even welcome my shopper friendly dog, Oliver.

We have always lived shopping at St Vincent DePaul. Great inventory & comfort atmosphere.

Good place to thrift. Lots of kitchen, clothes, and furniture, and a pretty small electronics section that mirrors a museum.

What a fun and quirky store. The staff is friendly and I always find good quality items.  I was surprised to find that they have an entire other building just for furniture.  Great deals.

The staff is always friendly and I have always been welcomed with a smile. There is such a wide variety of items, clothes and furniture. I bought a cute patio set and it just needed a tiny bit of paint to make it look brand new.  I normally don't shop at thrift stores because they sometimes feel dirty, it doesn't feel that way here at all !!

Did you know every Monday and Friday the entire store is 25% off? Every Tuesday all clothes, shoes, purses and accessories are 50% off. Please stop by my office next time your are in the store.

Very clean, well organized and pleasant thrift store ... but it's a bit pricey for USED items. Lots of "collectible" items in glass cases that's overpriced. Just because it's a brand name, doesn't make it collectible enough for a high price tag. Although I found a nice audiotape on cassette for less than $5, shoes cost anywhere from $7.99 up to $18.99! That's alot for USED older shoes. Clothing is moderately priced, furniture is too high considering it's not well made furniture, but rather newer, well used, and cheaply made furniture. (You're better off on FB Marketplace for that). Lots of well organized jewelry. Nice selection of household items like dishes, etc. Very nice selection of wall art, but it's expensive since it's what you'd find at TJ Maxx and Marshalls new. Tons of DVDs and some VHS, good book selection. If you like religious books, tapes, etc., they have a very good selection of items. The staff is very pleasant and helpful. Lots of parking. I will go again, but you have to be picky.

This is a nice thrift store but unfortunately like all the rest they are pricey.

As thrift stores goes, this is a winner. Nicely kept store with a variety of merchandise that is professionally displayed. Good prices and in support of a worthy charity.

Wow, so many negative reviews.  The branch I went to is not listed.  It's on 580 close to US 19.  They did help me with two bills I was unable to pay.  I lost my job after 31years due to health problems.  It's been devastating.  It is so humiliating to have to ask for help.  Patty helped me & was so kind & compassionate.  I am so grateful for the help they provided me.  Patty is no longer working there which is a huge loss for them.  Two ladies insisted on coming to see my home.  The one lady really hurt my feelings & I choose not to name her.  I get my food from local food pantries as I don't have any money to buy.  The food I get that I won't eat, I bring there & donate.  It's one small way I can show my appreciation.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart for the ladies that showed me such kindness & compassion.  I am most grateful.

Sorry that you had a bad experience with the organization because of this. Unfortunately like many other thrift stores, we do not have the staff or resources to fix up items. These policies are in place to reduce our costs at the landfill by taking only gently used items. I hope you can understand where I am coning from, and hope you might re-consider possibly donating in the future, as the staff was just following policy. Thank You.

I was do excited that a place was taking my 97 year old parents furniture and misc.  All furniture was in good shape, but not perfect.  When they arrived they took less than half the furniture because it was not perfect.  They went threw boxes to see if they wanted what was inside. So disappointing that a thrift store had to have items in perfect condition.  I remember when a thrift store would take anything and fix it up to sell.  Now I am left with all of this stuff and have 1 day to find a person to pick it up.  I would NEVER recommend them.  Very sad.

Always find great deals.  My neighbor was manager there and my family also gave great donations for years.  Unfortunately  the new management  is very abrupt, need lessons in customer service.  Jessica has been very helpful and I only continued shopping and donating because of her kindness.  Recently the  woman manager disgraced a homeless man because he had a voucher of some sort  for clothes but did not have his size.  She embarrassed him in front of everyone. Cost me $20 that I felt I should give  the man to shop elsewhere for pants.  She is a disgrace.  I will shop at the New Port Richey store because  of it.

Ok for a thrift store. Not great. Staff were not very attentive.  $ 5 minimum to use a debit card. I couldn't buy what I chose as it didn't total $5.

Everyone there was extremely nice and helpful. It was 25% off the furniture the day that I was there, but it was still expensive. They have a lot to choose from but prices are high. If I had the time to dig I'm sure I would have found something wonderful. But I got frustrated with the high prices.

It’s a hit or miss on what going to find & all depends on their prices too. But don’t appreciate them shutting the lights off 5 mins before the store even closed we were finishing up. Definitely not the best thrift store have been at & this one should definitely work on better customer service while people are finishing on what they’re looking at cause it’s also a way to lose customers when you basically want them out when the store wasn’t closed yet.

The ladies at the customer desk were more interested in talking to just each other,  and their Hispanic customers.  Not very nice,  nor professional.

Really organized and most items there are in good condition. The staff normally is friendly but today I donated some items and a man whom I haven’t seen there before, was a bit scary and extremely rude. I almost put my items back into my car and left which in hindsight I should have. But, I don’t feel comfortable going back now and will be donating elsewhere.

Big selection. Just seems like everything is really dirty and clothes are just stuffed everywhere with no rhyme or reason I could see.  Cheap prices.  There's a second building out back not attached with more stuff (furniture?).  Check it out.

Just dropped off some items at this location and my husband was disposing of a single box in the dumpster after condensing items into a different box. It was a small box, not big at all and, honestly we didn’t even think about it. A lady literally screamed across the parking lot, “You can’t put that in there.” She proceeded to walk across the lot still screaming “You can’t put that in there, absolutely not.” Over and over, even as he was removing it. That’s fine. The problem is not the box, it’s the attitude and the way she presented herself. One would think that since this place is church sponsored and they are accepting DONATIONS (literally thousands of dollars from us alone over the years) the staff could be a little less aggressive and maybe trained in how to approach someone politely. You know - do unto others - like Jesus would do.

I am sorry to hear you did not find anything to purchase at our store.  We work to hard to price items fairly.  I hope you will come in again soon.  

This USED to be my favorite, go to thrift store.  The last several times I went, I walked out without purchasing anything.  The prices have nearly doubled in the last year.  Half price jewelry on Thursdays is so overpriced.  You can buy brand new for less than what they charge, even with 50% off.  Their boutique items are a joke when it comes to pricing. Their prices are now higher than discount shopping stores or items you find in local stores. Just because it has a new tag on it doesn’t mean it’s valuable. It’s a shame, because I enjoyed shopping there realizing that my dollar was going to a nonprofit. But I also have to protect my own pocketbook. I will scope out sales for brand new items at department stores that offer a much better value. On a positive, the staff are super nice and friendly. I don’t want to have to wait for one of their sale days to make a purchase. I will now just avoid shopping there, unfortunately

I totally agreed with other reviews about pricing. I being going there for years and honestly I rather buy stuff at salvation Army which is located around the corner and is tax free. But my biggest disappointment comes from a new female manager by the name she is so horrible. If you need to talk to her she look at you like you are a thing, not sure what in the world is wrong with her but go stay in from of her and immediately feel a negative vibe coming from her. I purchase this couch and in the middle of discussing delivery options she offered me to give me my money back. Keeps talking about not having enough of staff to help me load the couch, like that is  my problem about not having enough personal to help me. Anyways I end up paying for delivery because she say there is no one to help load the couch .  This women is very very negative . Still waiting for the coach to be delivered and I leave 3 minutes from the store. Waiting for 2 weeks. She really looks like this is definitely  not her thing to be perform. Very very lack of empathy.

I used to go to St. Vincent De Paul but not I won't even step one foot in this place. It has gotten way too expensive things that are used they're selling them at store bought prices and this stuff has dust on top of dust I went here to get a used blender USED!!! and it was $39.99 Are you kidding me. So I looked around everything was way way above price for used items. I remember when I was pregnant and came to the one on Cleveland st before they moved everyone knew me now I won't comeback my son is 21 now that's a long time I've been coming to st. Vincent De Not no more

I am sorry to hear this was your experience. The Store has sales every day.  Monday is Senior Day where the whole store is 25% off.   Every Tuesday all of our clothes, shoes and purses are 50% off.  Wednesday and Saturday the 2 colors of the month are 30% or 50% off.  Thursday the jewelry is 50% off. Friday the entire store is 25% off.  Please come into the store and ask for me, Bernice, Store Manager.

I took my mom in there last year and the prices were great for a thrift store. Went in there today and I cannot believe the prices.  They are charging for clothing items the same price as you would would find in stores like Ross, Marshall’s, Burlington. This is a thrift store selling Used clothing. I was shocked. Needless to say, I didn’t buy anything we just left..

If you have electronic like flat screen tv don't bring them here they just destroy them. They destroy a lot of stuff actually not just electronics.

I tried several times to schedule a donation pick up. Called, called and no one during business hours picks up. Finally I reached someone who told me the truck was broken and the would call two days later to schedule pick up
Of course no one called and when I called the store no one picked up the phone.
These arrogant people do not serve the needy at all !

Sorry that you felt like that you had a bad shopping experience. Its just that one of the 12 pieces ended up accidentally on the sales floor, as all other items were in the back. We have items that we look up sometimes to research it, if we are not knowledgeable about it. I am sorry that you could not purchase it right then. I thought I had explained that before I retrieved the other items so that you could look at them at least. I was the only cashier at the time. Again sorry you felt like you had a bad shopping experience.

Had several items I wanted to purchase as well as a vintage piece that had no price. After having to search around for an actual employee since no one was at the register I asked if I could get a price on unmarked item. Guy informed me that there were other pieces in the back that went with the item and that’s why it hadn’t been priced yet. He retrieved the other accessories from the back and when I asked again for a price he said he would have to look it up online to determine price and value. I told him I was interested in purchasing now and was told he didn’t have time to look now even though there were several people working an only one other customer. Needless to say I put all the items I had intended to purchase back on the shelf since no one seemed to have any interest in actually making a sale. Will not be back

It was a bad shopping experience.  I understand that a piece was accidentally put on the floor. However, when I asked you about it, your exact response was “I need to look it up on the internet to see what it is worth.” You then proceeded to bring out all the other parts for me to see. When I again asked you for a price, you pulled out your phone to look it up but then said you did not have time and would not be able to give me a price today.
That is ridiculous. It would have taken you a few minutes to research the piece and determine a fair price. However, it is obvious that you had other intentions.
Additionally, this is a non profit organization thrift store. You should not be so greedy.
Responding as though you did nothing wrong here, is also wrong.
Letting this negative review stand for all to see, will hopefully make you will think before you attempt such shenanigans with another customer.

I called because I was misinformed if the services available and the man who returned my call was extremely rude. I cant believe a charity would treat someone this way hope you get more kind hearted compassionate volunteers in the future.

Very rude when we dropped items off. Didn’t even help unload the car. Will not bring our items there again. Very sad to see people lack simple customer service skills.

The majority of these reviews are terrible. iseems like something should be done about the terrible reviewswill keep me from even shopping there for a first-time. Something should actually be done to improve these reviews but it doesn't sound like anything is being done.

There’s a new girl there with curly hair and she’s very rude. I reported her and I’m not sure what happen after but when I returned back to the store she saw me and started laughing. I’m a regular at this store but if this is the type of staff that’s working there and the type of behavior that’s allowed I won’t be returning. She was even disrespectful in front of one of the managers and this girl is continuously starting trouble with me. I’m not sure if it a racial thing because I’ve seen her be friendly with others, I will find another thrift store to shop at it’s not worth the disrespect.

Many items over priced and the manager was pretty rude when asking about an item my autistic son wanted to purchase.
