It was best antique place in that area. However we couldn't see inside well. Because the store requests wear 😷. I have to come back another time with my friend.

Dania Beach used to have a wonderful antique row but it seems to be disappearing. I spotted this store on the strip one day and wanted to check it out. There is a small parking lot on the side of the building. Unfortunately I had a very disappointing visit to Barber Jo Collectibles which started at the front door where I was told I had to put a mask on even though every other business in Florida stopped requiring masks for many months now. Once inside it looks like this business belongs to a hoarder. You can barely navigate the aisles crammed from floor to ceiling. There were interesting things but nothing was priced. I inquired about a mineral oil lamp I was curious about but couldn't get any indication of a price. I doubt it could have been reached anyway. The best thing I got out of this visit was the sales person telling me to go to the Cooper City Antique Mall which I did and was actually able to buy a few things. This place seems more like a museum for the items belonging to Barbee Jo. If you want to just look and you are able bodied then by all means come for a look but remember a mask. My experience was that they did not give off the feeling of actually wanting to sell anything.

We drive past this place a lot so we finally decided to stop. Big mistake. Its good sized but a maze of blocked off sections and aisles in fact my husband was yelled at by the owner for even looking down one. Hardly anything is priced, what is priced is trhiftstore junk like ikea lamps etc. Oh they do have nice things but you cant buy them. Whats the point? You can see beautiful things down 20 feet of blocked off maze and can’t get to it , would take an hour to clear out. Whats the point of this place? It seems like a collectors hoarded warehouse and they use the good stuff to bait people to come in. Great stuff in the windows for instance but you cant get at it!!! Crazy. Rude owner too. Unwelcoming do not touch signs all over too. Ugh. It’s really sad because Dania Beach it used to be a go to place for antiques and all the places are drying up and this place drives away customers.. very sad. And nuts. We were in and out in 5 mins. That should tell you everything. An antique shop is a place you linger and poke and you can’t do either in this place. Edit.. two years later this place is now closed permanently .
