I had a wonderful couch I just purchased from a local furniture store. I had an unfortunate situation with the store and had a broken leg that was sold to me under false pretenses.  I called at least 10 different furniture repair services after googling.  For the sake of time, I could not submit photos, pay initial fees, and have someone come out three weeks away which is what I was told for each call I made. Steve was the only gentleman that when I called, was able to ease my concern and let me know he would get to me within two days. He was professional, reasonable, and reliable! Steve came to my home, was timely, friendly and fixed my power recliner which just stopped working.  Steve seems like a real genuine guy and I didn’t feel like he was trying to price gauge me.  I hope I don’t have to, but if I ever need a furniture repair again, I will call him,  for sure!

We only moved one piece of furniture down to Florida with us, a large wooden dining room table that can seat 10. The two curved sides of the base separated while being moved, cracking the dowels and stripping out screws.
Steve showed up at 8:00am the day after I called him. First of all, he carries every possible part and tool one might need to repair furniture. No wasteful trips back to the shop or Home Depot. He methodically took the table apart and then saw the weak spots, drilled out the stripped screws, and put it all back together stronger than it was before. If the manufacturer had put 8 screws on each side like he did, instead of 3, this might not have broken.
Very pleased, very professional and honest, fair pricing. Not a complaint in the world. I would definitely make him my first call if something ever broke on us again.

My wooden table was damaged by movers, leaving me with a cracked lazy Susan. I didn't know what to do and how to get it fixed. That is until I came across AAA Furniture Repair.  I called, spoke to Steve and in a matter of one week's time, my lazy Susan was fixed and is as good as new. He even gave me suggestions on how to upkeep and maintain my wooden table. Excellent job.  Steve repaired a wobbly post on my 4-poster bed.  He patiently removed the jammed post and replaced the internal parts to hold the post firm. Perfection!  His experience is priceless and I am happy to have found such a competent, experienced person.  Highly recommend him.

After more than a decade of wear and tear on furniture legs and baseboards, we hired AAA to undertake a number of repairs. They did an excellent job. Everything looks good as new. Additionally, they were able to make repairs to the wood in our grand piano. In short, AAA did an outstanding job in a very professional manner.

Steve came to my house to check out our couch that was sagging in the middle.  He was very timely, called when he was on his way and we are very happy with the result!  He took a great deal of time just to figure out the right solution for our couch and give us a free estimate.  He made it clear that he wanted to give us a permanent solution instead of just a quick fix.  Also, he was very sensitive to our budget and found the most economical fix for us.  After he started working, he found a few other structural defects. He fixed those as well, and didn't charge us extra because he had already quoted our price.

All-in-all Steve did a great job on our couch.  Very convenient (he did the repairs in our home), reasonable prices, and excellent work.  We would definitely recommend him!

We hired Steve from AAA Furniture Repair to restore our dining room set which had incurred significant damage during our move to Florida.
He was professional and conscientious and did a great job communicating with us and understanding our needs.  We are pleased with the work that he did and would recommend him.

The customer was advised by me that someone tinkered with the electric recliner before I was called in. Without going into specific details, this customer's review is filled with inaccurate details.  $125 covers the service inspection to determine what repairs  need to be done and which parts, if any need replacement.   Customer was aware of the service charge prior to making the  appointment.   Customer chose to make the repair, knowing the complete cost, before telling me to go ahead with the repair.

My mom needed her electric recliner fixed. Steve said $125 for the visit and it covers electric issues, any parts and labor will be extra. Oh boy...and that’s extra. Let me start with he seem nice and that’s no more than expected as it’s his business. No issue there. Good timing and he responds quickly to phone calls. But my total bill was $385....after I pointed out that I’m providing two parts and he’s using two parts that he owns ($20) is the cost for those parts and that’s fine if he wants to charge a bit more for them, but in one hour he charged $385 ? Because I paid cash he gave me a discount of $35 so being a total of $350.00. I paid and received a receipt (by my request) by the way that is not an actual receipt. My point is, this’s a rip off, I will absolutely not recommend this place. I don’t think they care much about since he’s retiring. It was my choice to have him finish the job but if I didn’t, I still had to pay $125 for showing up at my house. It’s one of those things that people do take advantage of you, and if you are a woman it’s even worse....karma is real and you will get back what you give. So enjoy your tax free $350.....and let’s hope I don’t have an issue for a long time. It’s really saddening that people have gotten so greedy....

My husband was just telling the story the way I told him he may have gotten a few things wrong but Steve not being able to move the furniture without help is 100% true I kept telling him I can't help. I was never in his way he needed my help , he told me when and where to push a nice man who could not do the job. He was not at my home for 2 hours more like 1 hour and told me what to do to fix it after he could not, if it was so easy he should have done what he told me to do. I was shocked at the $325.00 for and hour and tons of my help without anything being fixed. I feel robbed and I hurt myself for nothing . He did not even address the reason I called him out he decided to go a different way and at the end when I asked about the bent piece which is what I called him for he said he did not know.  People who had good outcome with him your lucky.  Steve to say I got in your way is a lie and you know it you over charged me for an hour of me helping you move the sofa over and back over and back. I could have had a couple friends unroll the area rug for free where I would not have spent the next 3 days in pain. You really should give me a partial refund which I know you won't.

Mr. Smith was not home at the time.  Mrs Smith refused to stay out of my way. I turned the sofa over three times and found that it was missing two center legs.  She said the sofa is new so I told her to contact the store for the legs. I tightened two bolts and showed her the center leg on the smaller loveseat. She spoke to her husband on the phone and asked me to put an area rug under the sofa which took three times to adjust. She paid $125 service charge and a $200 bill for 2 hours of Labor the total bill was $325 I had no trouble leveraging the sofa which I do on frequent occasions..

Before Steve came to look at my recliner couch I told him it was too heavy for one person to move and he should bring help. He stated "I have been doing this for 42 years and always work alone". I acknowledged the service charge of $125.00. When he arrived and tried to move the couch, he was unable. He stated this is the heaviest couch I have ever come across. I am disabled and recovering from shoulder surgery. I told him I could not assist in any way. He pressed for my help so I did. Over 45 minutes of turning & flipping the couch  which I ended up doing most of the work. Steve told me he is 70 years old. Maybe he could work alone 30 years ago but not today. He  finally admitted he could not fix the couch and gave me a bill for $350.00! I was in pain for 3 days after and my recliner still does not work. I feel robbed. Do not hire this man to fix your furniture!

I am very sorry that Mr. Castro did not understand about the service Call charge for coming out to examine his recliners. It was explained to his wife on 2 occasions . These were very unusual recliners and parts would have to be ordered by the customer from the manufacturer or the store. At that point they could be in stalled at a labor charge to be decided upon when they were received. This is a company policy that again was thoroughly explained and has always been understood  by our many customers.

I contacted AAA furniture service to repair a recliner and I received nothing of service just a ridiculous charge of $125.00 just to tell me that He can't fix it or He does not have the parts. He said he does that all the time and that he is been in business for over 40 years. His name is Steve. This is unacceptable and unreasonable. He is unfair and unprofessional. Be aware.

We are in the shop by appointment only.. the shop day is Monday From 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.  This is clearly stated on the website. Every phone call is returned and we explain that our shop day is Monday Sorry for any inconvenience.

Drove 15 miles to this place it’s 3:40 and nobody’s there. I rung the bell numerous times & looked inside lights were of. Called the place number goes straight to voicemail. No note or anything. Very unprofessional thus far.

$100 to repair a dining room chair, returned to us with dirt saw dust and glue still in it and head of chair back misaligned, not impressed.

I was very excited to have AAA repair come to fix my recliner. The man said that he could only come on Tuesdays or Thursday. I am pregnant and I need my rocking recliner for when the Baby arrives, so I altered my work schedule to work the night shift because I was told that he could only come between 12-3:00. At 3:30pm I called and asked if he was coming. He said he was on his way. I asked for and ETA because their shop is only a mile away from me and I needed to work and that I took the morning off. He said "Well I didn't tell you to take time off of work to wait for me!!!" I said never mind and hung up. I'm SO DISAPPOINTED!!!! I see all these great reviews and I got the WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER.
My chair never got fixed! :-(
