I haven’t been to the store in about a year and with social distance I saw the owners son at a local coffee shop wearing his mask with the store name.  I told him I haven’t been there in a year and he was very professional and said they always have great finds.  I stopped by after my doctors appointment and was greeted by his dad who was so polite and explained the auction process and answered questions regarding pieces I was interested in. What a wonderful auction company!  I typically use Liveauctioneers for his sales because I live 250 miles away and I don't always see the items in person prior to the auction.  Everything I have purchased from them has always been exactly as described (mainly paintings) so I 100% trust what I'm buying.  Both Chris and his assistant Andrea are extremely nice and helpful after the purchase and I appreciate that because I can't always pick up the items the day of the sale.

Absolutely outstanding! I can’t say enough incredible things about Craig and his son Chris Mayor and Abington Auction Gallery  (including their staff and even the moving company they use).  I recently consigned a Ralph Lauren coffee table and an 18th century campaign desk with them and at auction time we had 8 different bidders on the table and 6 on the desk. I just acquired a painting at auction from Abington, and their customer service is just terrific.  Prior to the auction, Andrea responded promptly and completely to my email inquiries.  During the auction, my phone bidding representative, Lily, was great.  And although I live 3,000 miles away, Andrea has been terrific to deal with in making payment and shipping arrangements.  I only wish that my travel plans included Ft. Lauderdale so that I could stop by and meet the staff in person!

I purchased a grand piano from Chris Mayor and I have to tell you that he was one of the best people I've ever had the pleasure of dealing with. Not only did he make it affordable for me, but he even went so far as to save me the trouble of finding a transport company and scheduled the delivery from Florida to Maryland for me. I'll admit I was a little hesitant about purchasing such an expensive item without having the ability to see or play it. However, Chris was extremely thorough in its description and sent additional pictures as requested. There was an issue with a couple of the keys sticking, but he had that taken care of before delivery so it wouldn't be an issue. His prompt response(s) through text and e-mail gave me a feeling of confidence and trust which really was the determining factor on why I purchased from him.
