This gallery was breath takingly beautiful! Alex did give us a tour of their massive collection of fine art from around the world and hand woven rugs that date back to the 18 and 1900's crafted with vegetable dye and some with silk that naturally shine. The detail on each is wonderful! I highly recommend checking this gallery out!

Mussallem Galleries, established in 1897, specializes in oriental style rugs and has a immense (so large you can easily get lost large haha) collection of unique, antique and contemporary art pieces that are just beautiful. They have amazing art from so many countries and artists that I’m sure whatever your interests are, you can find something. I was warmly welcomed by Marie who took me around and gave me unique insights into much of the art. I really hope to come back to continue exploring and find the piece(s) that speak to me. The most breathtaking piece was this huge one believed to be done by Raphael and reconstructed by The Getty in LA. Wow, there is too much cool stuff here!

Unreal how a rug can change a room! The Mussallems brought over an assortment of rugs to try out in our home until we found the right one for each room. They take no shortcuts and were extremely patient with working with us until we found something we really liked. Thanks again and look forward to conducting repeat business.

An incredible place! Once your foot enters this space, nothing else matters. Grand merci to the Mussallem family, who kindly hosted us and showed us the world's masterpieces. It's always a pleasure to enrich yourself through art. And music here matters - carefully selected.

A week ago, we visited Mussalem Galleries and were deeply impressed. The large collection of masterpieces from different cultures and periods has been carefully selected by the Mussalem family, and their warm, united passion for their work is another charming aspect of this place. We are grateful for the aesthetic pleasure they provided to our family and for being open to sharing so much interesting information about their Persian carpets, the paintings of Aivazovsky, Chagall, Lewis,... the antique artifacts, and many other treasures that can be discovered in their gallery

Went inside here today for the first time and to say the least it’s not going to be my last visit! James was super knowledgeable and sincere! You can tell how much the people here truly care about all of this and how passionate they are about it all which is so nice! Definitely recommend stopping in asap! This felt like a historic museum you have to pay to get into but instead it’s free and I’m just amazed by how big and crazy cool this place is!!
