The moment i stepped into the store i was almost breathless, Having Aspergers syndrome and having a interest in the occult led me to get exited about everything i see in this place. for a moment i consider this to be my next sanctuary of past relics and im thrilled to see what treasures lay in this temple as i see it. I wanted to ask specifically about any occult items and did so in small chunks. you see the elderly at at the counter (who doesn't take any bs i gotta give her that) was conversing with a hispanic man wearing a hoody and sunglasses in the dark store about "how non new yorkers dont understand new york's violence". i mistook the victorian era for the georgerian in a rushed question during a breif break in the new yorker supremicist conversation and was ridiculed and dismissed. It was an honest mistake and i even apologized for breaking up the POST-PURCHASE convo with the mexican unibomber and was asked to 'Let me deal with the serious customers''. I was doing math on how many months it would take to buy some of these items. then i am verbally abused via slander.i was near tears. Then i was ignored for about another ten minuets as she helped two women from the moment they entered until their purchase. i was at the counter when they walked in. she turned to the left and i was completley ignored. i then find a rosecrucian looking neclace and decide to purchase it. when i presented the chain to her she didnt even know i was trying to buy it. "I have to verify that this is worth 20 dolllors before i buy it" was what she said. then she realized it was for sale and as i earnestly tried to explain i only have 18 dollors and please dont make me go to an atm for 2 dollors on a 20$ necklace that she didnt even know was for sale. at this point im being ridiculed because other people have "things they can pay for!" i left the store and went into the meg o malley's bathroom and cried for a good 10 minuets. I had never felt like so much of a loser. i was overwhelmed and asked a lotta questions about possible purchases and was treated as if i was a rude person. Then i called my mother to pick me up and waited until she came to get me to confront your casheir and told her how she hurt my feelings. she then told me that after i left other customers praised her on shooing me out of the store. I dont even wanna go on my favorite website (a message board for the occult) because im so dejected by this experiance. im questining my worth as a human being. I cant stop crying and im 19. this store. it has great stuff but if you dont look like a rockefellr or a rothschiled your just there to steal. or pontificate or whatever. im writing a complaint to the better buisnesss beurou among other HR orginizations
