This store is a hidden gem!! Ask for Unna... she will take the best care of you! I am so happy I found this store, they helped me put together a show stopper costume last minute. Selection is amazing and anything but basic!!

WoW the nice Latino man working, helping look for costumes is amazing; he is like in his 50’s wow what a sales-friendly person. I was looking for a too and I end up spending the cooled things and paying happily, thousands of dollars for the coolest things

Proper costume store stocked floor to ceiling with all sorts of hard to find items. Older guy working there was super knowledgeable and helped me find everything and then some that I needed for a production.

We came in wanting a particular steam punk/Victorian/industrial  look for a possible photo shoot coming up and you were fantastic in your choices for us to consider.

Mario,  you really heard what we wanted to do & you came up with great options. You encouraged us to expand our creative clothing possibilities... you really relaxed our mind to consider and try on all kinds of fun clothing...and we had such fun with you.

Amazing staff, very friendly. LARGE selection of various costuming, makeup, accessories for whatever you may need. This spot attracts buyers who are local performers and entertainers, but they also have a selection of "off the rack" clothing that was small, but unique! I walked away with a fabulous vintage shirt from the 70's that I LOVE!

Love this place. Has everything you could ever want for a costume or photoshoot. Love it. Keep it up beatnix!

This place is so cool. I love dressing up being creative  putting fun clothing items together. This is my kind of store! It has mainly costumes, entertainment type dancing, go-go, and burning man type pieces. Lots of glitter, gold, silver feathers, body paint, body glitter even funky spikey accessories. The list goes on and on. It's wall to wall jam packed with creative fun stuff. This place does not disappoint. It has so much to choose from. It can add up quickly and take a hefty chunk out of your pocket  however you will walk out a star of your own show! I love going and getting inspired and motivated. First time walking in. I don't know what's cooler the stuff that you find in the store or the sweetheart behind the counter.  As long as I visit Miami i'll try to always grab a piece from this store to build up my collection of rave gear.

You have to experience this store is awesome.  if you need help the stuff it's always friendly and gives you some great advice on what to buy.  my experience have always been great specialty that the stuff does not harass you they will let you know that they're there to help if you need them which I really appreciate. Beatnix is one of the most friendly and selection available private independent store still left on South Beach. With a familiar face welcoming you inside, you will find a large assortment if almost anything you can imagine. And if you don't see it in store, it is quite possible they will order it for you to arrive in no time. I got my Lego hat from here. Thank you Beatnix.

I was literally at 12:00pm and the store was closed and I am so impatient and was super annoyed BUT the person who opened was running late so I mean it happens he is super kind and helpful and they have a big inventory service fast I was in and out so ALL good 🙌🏻

We had a great experience shopping here for a studio 54 themed birthday party. The party planner called ahead to ask the shop to special-order costumes and accessories for party guests to come purchase.

The staff was very helpful and diligent in picking up on our signs of how much we were comfortable in spending. When we were checking out, they also surprised us with a a special discount for being attendees to the party!

This place is great! They have a large selection of quality merchandise; much better than the cheap, flimsy costumes you can buy online. Yeah, the online stuff is less expensive, but it looks it too. Beatnix prices are very reasonable with a wide range of pricing to suit any need. The people couldn't be nicer or more helpful. Will definitely be back even with the hassle of getting there from Ft. Lauderdale.

Coming from a true Miamian, this is the best costume store I've seen in this city. There's no limit to the imagination here and it might look small, but they're packed with popular and specialty inventory! I also always have a great time getting ideas and opinions from the fun employees.

Unique finds! Popped in there last week to look for a leather jacket. They surprisingly had a few though we walked out without buying any as they weren’t exactly what we were looking for. The sales guy was nice and attentive but gave us space to explore. Cool place to check out if you’re in town.

It is true we are not solely a vintage store, our main focus is costumes and accessories for many different themes, the vintage clothes we still have are mostly men's 70's shirts and pants, westerns and some great leather and military jackets.

A little pricey but has great variety for those who work in the entertainment industry

They were nice, but once I asked for something their response was “that’s for women, things for men are around the corner”, I didn’t say nothing because I wasn’t really in the mood to find out if I was gonna get hate crimed

The service from all the staff was excellent, but the manager was very rude. I asked her something and she responded very rudely, and when I told her that she had a dirty face and she responded badly, she got offended and started bragging about being the manager. What a bad manager they have.

Wow the store is amazing and fun , glad I was able to find everything I needed for my party , the customer service on the other hand was horrible this Latin lady treated me horrible was rude and disrespectful. She seamed like she didn’t want to be working. It made my friend and I feel very unwelcome .

The lady that works there is always SO rude and disrespectful. It’s as if she doesn’t want to be at work EVER. love the clothes here but will stop coming because of the horrible service. The guy that works there is super nice though.

Horrible customer service. This store does not cater or care for people with disabilities. Illegally enforcing mask mandates against someone with a medical exemption shows how this pandemic has turned some people into power hungry dictators.
