Great customer service awesome atmosphere!

You never know what you will find.  They are always getting new stuff in. Everyone is friendly and fun to talk to. They take stuff in and pay out monthly. You can also use store credit when you have money in.

Absolutely love the Renaissance Room Consignment store, have bought both furniture and Plus Size clothing. Everything in this store is high quality, fairly priced and beautifully presented. The staff is very helpful. This trip I found a pair of SAS shoes I almost bought online for 179.00 for 20.00!

We found a beautiful cabinet that we'd been looking for. Great price, helpful staff, they even deliver. Well worth the cost for the headache of us trying to get it on our own.  They have beautiful items and get gently used items all the time. Definitely going to go there again.

Great place to shop for second chance furniture used but still in good shape. Prices drop every month so if you can afford to wait you may get a bargain but then again someone else may get it before you.

I haven't been here in years, but I do know that my parents bought from this business to furnish their home when they bought a Fl home. There's always something new coming in so you just never know what you may find as it could be there today and gone tomorrow, so if you see something you like you should either buy it or put it on hold. I love the thrift stores you just never know what you'll find.

They even offered to help us move any of our own furniture if needed. We absolutely will be shopping here again!

Just browsing and found a lovely inlaid wooden box. Hexagonal with a hinged lid, about 8"sq. Perfect to fill with treasures for my granddaughter. Renaissance never disappoints.

We always find great buys, interesting accessories and beautiful gently used furniture. They have excellent standards and no junk. We've made many purchases here over the past years with no problems.

WOW! What a find! Tured of all the ckeaning of dusty angel pins,  watches, rings, etc so I started searching for a full sized standing on the floor, jewelry cabinet. Found the cutest, minature jewelry box that will look fantabulous sitting on my dresser.

I do love this place. Great prices, selection and staff. I go in every month or so. You never know what you may find. They have art, rugs, furniture, lamps, dinnerware, glassware, etc. Better than a thrift store but their prices are very reasonable. Good quality items.

If you've never been in this store you need to go. They have wonderful stuff you can get discount prices if the stuff's been there I believe over one or two months they take 20% off but, don't quote me on that but they do have a clearance section of small items. People are wonderful to.

My favorite consignment store in Ocala. They always have new beautiful furniture, and although the prices are sometimes very high, it is usually worth it for the quality. They have really unique pieces that have a lot of character. The two employees at the register are also very friendly.

Very nice shop. So many nice things to choose from. Furniture, dishes, pictures, jewelry, clothes, shoes and paintings. I was surprise to see so many items displayed so nicely. I purchased a name brand bracelet at a reasonable price and am very happy with it. If you're in the neighborhood stop by and the sales ladies are very nice also.

They always have a nice assortment of gently used furniture, jewelry, purses, shoes, and some clothes. You could furnish a home as they usually have stuff for every room

Has consignment furniture, assessories, and some clothes and shoes.  Every day, there's a different selection, so if you're looking for a certain item, it's smart to go every day.  The sales people are not very friendly and never ask if they can help you.  Some of the items are great buys; some appeared be overpriced.  I do love looking because I like a good deal.  I will definitely keep shopping there.

I love walking through looking at all the interesting items. Only sad part is that they seem to be raising prices. I know the work on commission,  however it is getting harder to find bargains that are within wimsey purchases. Will always love looking though.

My name is Debbie and I am the owner of Renaissance Room. I checked into your account personally and see that 9 baskets were in fact priced on 11/1/2023 and placed on the showroom. 2 baskets sold on 12/11.
They were priced at 75 dollars for both. We have a markdown schedule of 10% each 30 days(maximum 20%).
So they sold for 67.50. Commission is 50/50, not 60/40, so you received a check for 33.75.
The next 4 baskets sold at 20 % off in January and your Commission was 34 dollars. They were originally priced at 85 dollars for all 4. They were priced properly ranging in price from 15-40 dollars for each basket.
We do not have a ledge to receive items but a drop off window with marking material and container baskets so items are kept in order.
We receive over 100 items daily so we must have a procedure in place to receive the volume properly and orderly. We do not automatically email inventory lists. If requested, anyone on staff can email the list.
We changed websites recently but our consignor log in still works properly.
I will make sure all staff is aware of that.
The payout amount listed online is your total payouts since 2005.
As far as looking for your own items, all longaberger baskets are displayed in 1 area as they are considered collectibles. I am sure my staff directed you to that shelf.
Sometimes we are very busy and unable to help the consignor collect their items. But the 3 baskets were in 1 place and I hope you found them quickly.
I am sorry your experience was less than perfect but I needed to correct your observations and make sure there is no misunderstanding. 
You have consigned with us since 2002. Our policies have not changed since then.

I didn’t have a good recent experience here. I had done business with them back in early 2000's and boy was it different this time around.

Dropped off nine (9) Longaberger baskets in really good condition back in October, 2023.

Was emailed a Consignor login to my account the next day but was not given a posted listing of my items with what they were priced at and what percentage I would ultimately receive on that day.

I had to leave these valued items on a door ledge with my name and phone number with no listing, no idea what percentage they would keep, etc. Kept checking and drove back out there three weeks later and they were still not posted to my online account. The gentlemen in the office where the door ledge told me that there were not priced yet.

It wasn't til 11/6/23 that I requested an emailed copy of the posted account listing. They valued the 11 baskets at $227.00.

I went in January and picked up a check for $33.75 and again today February 12, 2024, I received a check for $34.00. I also picked up three remaining baskets that didn't sell valued at $67 total.  (I had to search the aisle for my remaining products with little to no assistance.) So, the total sales were $160.00 of which I got $68.00. (I was never told in the store on the many visits to check my account that their take was 60% and mine was 40%.)

Their processes are old, antiquated and obsolete and the women there are not customer oriented or friendly.

I stopped the woman before I left to double-check the account cause when I signed in online it said a payment was issued in the amount of $167.00.  She promptly told me that their online website hasn't worked for months and that amount  was not accurate which left me with an uneasy feeling.

I told her that I would rather given the valued baskets to someone for the joy of giving would have been worth far more than the percentage and service I received there!

I am very sorry you had a unpleasant experience with our shop.

Poor service, poor communication, unprofessional behavior. I called yesterday to confirm the store’s hours of operation, and I was told that they did not accept drop-offs after 4pm. While this is not posted online (anywhere I could find, at least), it did not seem overly unreasonable. I came to the store shortly before 4pm today to find “Tina” sitting in a chair for sale and looking at her phone. After waiting a short while at the counter, looking around expectantly, “Tina” finally saw fit to acknowledge me and came to the counter. After stating I was there to drop off furniture and letting her know the type of items I had, she said that they only offer appraisals via email and that they would not be unloading because “Justin” (who is apparently the only one there willing/able to unload items for sale), is not in on Tuesdays and Fridays. Again, this would not be unreasonable or problematic if this was communicated in advance online. However, it is not, and “Tina” is of the impression that customers or sellers will just know to call the store and ask the “right questions” to know their policies, and will become indignant if you have not jumped through all the “right” hoops. While I understand that there are certain logistics to work out when consigning an item (floor space, value, etc.), specific, non-standard expectations need to be communicated in advance and without the expectation of someone calling your store to play 20 Questions with you or your staff. If you are looking to sell anything (or buy anything, for that matter), coming here is a waste of time.

I am sorry your experience with Renaissance Room did not meet your expectations.
Your consignment agreement clearly states it was a 90 day consignment period with a 60 day extension. The expiration date is also stated and noted it is the consignors responsibility to manage the account as we have thousands of consignors and it is impossible to notify everyone when their items expire.
We picked up your furniture on June 3rd, 2021.
We kept it a full 5 months. That date would have been November 3rd, 2021. You did not call to let us know whether you wanted it back.
After 5 months it was deemed abandoned and we have the right to donate it or sell it to help defray the cost of keeping it on our showroom.
We actually kept it until January 6th when we finally sold it at clearance.
So we kept your furniture for 7 months.
We are well within the rights of our agreement and all terms are clearly stated before we picked up your furniture..
Also we picked up 5 large pieces of furniture to consign. We only charged you $10 for that.
You came back after 30 days and picked up 3 of those pieces.
We were left with the older sofa and a recliner.
We sold the recliner and you were paid for that but the sofa was older and difficult to sell. But we still held up to our end of the contract and followed through.
You took back the better quality items and did not give us the opportunity to sell them as you agreed to prior with the contract. We feel like you may have abused our time and effort.

Do not do business with this establishment unless you want to lose your money after the contract expires. I put furniture on consignment and as the contract came to an end this establishment failed to notify me and then sold my piece of furniture and kept all the funds not returning any funds that were due me. Just to let that

The owner, Debbie is incredibly rude.  The store is unorganized.  They misplaced my account and I never heard from them after the furniture was delivered.  They would not even open the door for us bringing in our coffee tables, much less help bring them in,  I asked for a copy of the consignment agreement, I was told that they don't usually give them out. they are mailed later......really? Our furniture was displayed dusty and did not sell. It was a complete waste of time and a frustrating experience, never again.
