Fantastic condition pieces with furniture that defies my untrained eye's ability to tell if much restoration has taken place, with each piece I looked at showing just enough "wear" that nothing looks re-done. What has been redone is certainly period-correct. I think owner has a knack for finding the un-findable, and it changes week-to-week, so it's a place worth stopping by when they have the open house hours/days to see what's new. Also I think a lot of these pieces are simply excellent original condition needing just minor retouching to surface finishes, and it's certainly done in a way that strikes a balance - it doesn't even slightly interfere with the character of the piece (the loving little bumps and tiny indents; the bits of metal pitting with age) but at the same time feels like it could have been a piece my parents bought in my childhood, lifted like a time capsule from the 1960s when it was only 10 years old, and transported to Warehaus. Owners super friendly and personable. My visit was for a community (great locale there in College Park!) event in the street beside the place, and the owners were event organizers using the space for kids crafts and providing heat respite. During this time I had the chance to look at some of the offerings while my 5-year-old crafted, and everything I saw there was gorgeous. Prices seemed pretty reasonable - I kept thinking that for about the cost of a moderately-priced piece of furniture I could instead buy these one-of-a-kind treasures. Owners have fantastic taste and, yes, it's minimalist, but not overly so. The pieces they choose cover a range of styles, and I suspect it's just based on what they're able to discover and have on offer for that week. I'd like to repeat that if you don't check back with them reasonably frequently, you may miss a treasure you've been trying to find, and the place is convenient to everywhere with plenty of side-of-shop parking, so it's worth stopping in during their understandably limited browsing hours. This place is a gem and if you love the mid-century modern and Danish modern styles, as well as styles adjacent to those, you'll want to put this place atop your get-over-there-now list. :-)

It’s really hard to compare my IKEA furniture to the real-wood furniture from Warehaus. Not only is this forever-quality, artisanal furniture but the owner is an absolute gem. We’ve gotten 2 pieces over a year from him and he even offered to make additional changes to best suit our needs. We cannot fathom choosing anyone else over Warehaus for quality furniture and service.

How do you review a furniture store that just gets it all right? Great selection of quality vintage homestuffs - ever rotating selection so fun to check out often. I was mostly interested in mid-century modern (yes, it is a bit of a trend, but I grew up with it and love the variety in my childhood home... Warehaus has all that). Johnathan (the owner, along with his wife) showed me what I was looking for, and even took me back in the shop to show how things were done, and how different construction means different things. I left feeling smarter than I went in. Oh - and did I mention I popped in on a Sunday, 40 mins before closing time? I had the store to myself. I ended up purchasing Lane Rhythm bedside tables, from 1966, by the recently defunct Lane Furniture up in Virginia. Delivery was a week for a totally reasonable $50 in Orlando. Johnathan spruced them up a bit - they shined even more - and delivered them to my house, directly into the bedroom. They're FANTASTIC! I'm also looking for a long media console, but Johnathan said the length I wanted was very rare, but he'd see what he could find. He encouraged my to get the West Elm version if my heart was set on the design sooner rather than later. I want quality, so I'll be waiting. Overall - my experience with Warehaus was the kind where you say, "Okay - there's some folks right there getting it right." I can't wait to discover the next piece I just can't do without. I apologized to Johnathan that I didn't have a bigger budget and a bigger house. But I think we'll figure something out. :-)
Thank you so much for your in-depth and wonderful review Nystrom! It was an absolute pleasure to spend some time with you and sharing our knowledge and passion for vintage furniture! We also love the choice you made of the Lane nightstands, they look so perfect in your room! Thank you again for trusting us to help create the space of your dreams, and we can't wait to find the next forever piece for your lovely home!

I love Warehaus! I have consigned there, purchased items and even had a beautiful rosewood credenza restored there. My experiences have always been positive, I love the old school rapport & easy vibe. Jonathan is knowledgeable, skilled and fair. He’s straight-forward in business and has great integrity. If you’re looking for quality and style, look no further, this is a haven for the MCM enthusiast.
Thank you so much for the feedback and kind words, Lynn! It's been an absolute pleasure to work with you as a consigner and customer! The rosewood credenza project was one of our favorite restoration projects to date and couldn't have been happier with the outcome. We hope you and your family enjoy it for decades to come and we look forward to working with you more in the future!
